Thud stops at the edge of the clearing. About 8-10 feet from the meat. It looks fresh. Only about a day old. Smells good too. Mmmmmm the pungent smell of fresh kill, savory meat and crunchy bone. It look so much bigger up close. Just sitting there on a bed of leaves in the center of a nice even clearing. Only two steps or one pounce away. Mmmmmmmmmmm Meeeeeeeeeat.
Tasty, tasty meat.
What's Thud do?

Thok Burnskin |

Thok accepts the Super-Boom and stows it in his robes, staring at the headless Lotslegs. He pauses, and then seizes on the idea he has. He slices off a Leg from LotsLegs, then takes a moment to straighten it. He takes a few more moments, cutting off the rest of the legs and straightening each. Using any bits of sticky web that he can grab with one of the legs, he ties the straightened legs together. It rather resembles a peculiar type of spear, or maybe an evil looking staff. He stands, evil goblin grin as he raises the impromptu staff above his head. "I be mighty Fire-Hero-Shaman of Gobs!" He cackles madly, then catches the smell of fresh rat.
Mmm, rat.
Thok wanders over next to Thud, listening to Glop's cries of trap.
Tasty rat.
Thok pulls out his rope, tossing an end near the rat.
Dex check to touch the rat:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Assuming that is enough to get the end of the rope near the rat, Thok will cast Rope Trick, and split the tasty snack with Thud.

DM Iron-Dice |

Even though dead, you still continue to thwart Lots-Legs plans. You are indeed mighty Goblin heros!
The moment Thok's rope hits the meat there's a loud whoosh followed by a flurry of leaves as a web-net camouflaged by the ground takes flight into the air. The web-net, (and the meat!) soar into the hole above in the webs twenty feet up, and hangs there swinging in the breeze. The leaves slowly stop trickling down and land quietly back on the ground.
Lots-legs used that as game trap for wandering swamp critters. Seeing you four Goblins in the swamp, he got greedy and thought to entangle some of you from above, and drive the rest into this trap. You Goblins outsmarted a big spider!
From this vantage point, looking up through the hole at your dangling meat (no comment), you can now see a cave like lair made out of hardened webbing. As the sun shines thought the trees, some of you may see a quick sparkle from something shinny in the web cave.

Thok Burnskin |

Thok watches Grimlek march around, Thok's goblin head tilted sideways as he watches the curious march. Thok shrugs, casting Rope Trick. Commanding the frayed rope to knot, Thok let the rope knot and then tries to shimmy up the rope.
Climb Check (DC 5):1d20 - 1 ⇒ (9) - 1 = 8
As he climbs the rope, he looks down at Grimlek. "Ok, you be Great-Shaman-Hero of Gobs. Me be Fire-Caller-Hero of Gobs!"
Perception check to get distracted by Shiny things:1d20 ⇒ 16
Climb Check to get to Meat!(DC 5):1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12
Thok, ignoring his stomach, wanders over to the hardened Spider Web Hole.
Shiny things are Shiny...

DM Iron-Dice |

When the web-net trap sprung, one end of Thok's rope was snared with it. Using his sorcerers powers he commands the loose rope to tie itself to the net 20 feet above. With great effort, and a pause, he finally (barely) climbs up. The web-net feels tacky and bouncy. Very good from griping and climbing.
Clinging to the net, Thok is even with the netting, with about a 5 foot gap that would need to be jumped, swung to or otherwise traversed to avoid a fall. The web cave is is about another 5 foot farther, so the entrance is 10 feet away with a 5 foot webbing ledge, then a 5 foot gap to the net.
Inside you can see various reflections from shinny glass, metal and tiny blinking eyeballs!
Lots-legs babies defend lair against Goblins invaders many
Init for babies; 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Oh, and apparently Thud's club got caught in the net also. Oops.

Thok Burnskin |

Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Vroooooom!!!!
Thok stares at the eyes for a moment, then realizes that Lotslegs was a mommy? Oh my...
Thok grins as he pulls out the explosive he got from Chief. He does drop the club to Thud, however, before doing so.
"Who want Baby Lotsleg's surprise?"

DM Iron-Dice |

Thok grabs into his pack and his callused hand lands first on hte small size paper wrapped boom. Casting his favorite fire starting spell the short fuse hisses with the great burring flame that Thok loves.
It's tossed into the open lair mouth.
KA-BOOOOOOOOM
An ear shattering wave of sound and blinding light explodes from the small boom. Leaves and stick rain down from the shock-waive.
It's so loud and bright it should dazzle any creatures in the cave.
Lots-Legs Babies Fortitude saves

4-1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
5-1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Thok can see three drop on their backs, but two were close enough to the opening to be unaffected.

DM Iron-Dice |

We better take 10, otherwise Thud will still be there after the entire adventure is completed :-)
Thud awkwardly makes his way up the rope. Now clinging on the net next to Thok he can see three dazzled spiders about a foot in total size, twitching on the bottom. Two more are near the mouth of the lair and look like they will spring into action before you can act further.

Glop and Grimlek can act, followed by mini lots-legs.
Glop climbs the tree trunk closest to the opening of Baby Lots-Legs ( I have the ring of climbing) and prepares action to attack with Dog Slicer.
Climb Check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
DM Iron-Dice |

Glop barley manages to climb up the tree trunk anchoring the web lair. For Goblin heroes, you guys suck at climbing rolls :-P
She is now clinging to the outside of the lair near the opening. She's within striking distance of one dazzled and one alert spidey. Of course, shes within their striking distance as well!

Grimlek Longtrunk |

DANGER DANGER
His throw goes wild! It's out of control!

Grimlek throws like a Girlz. Worse than Glop.
Dodge: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
holding breath, closing one eye and covering the other. Here goes nothing!
YEAAAAHHHHHH!!!!

DM Iron-Dice |

A small spider
runs down besides her
Bitting her along the way
Another one is a punk
it runs down the trunk
heading the heroes way
Thok clings to the net
wondering what the heck
he's gona do next on his turn
------
Small spider skitters across Glop, attempting a bite along the way
Touch attack 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
It's poisoned tip misses you. It's now on your leg
Other spider goes straight down in a climb
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Makes it down 20 feet. So 5 foot above ground clinging to tree
The other three are still Dazzled in the cave, but could come around any time.

DM Iron-Dice |

Thud moves 15 feet to the base of the tree. In one smooooooooooth fluid motion he chops, bisecting the spider. Both halves fall twitching and oozing to the dirt.
Grimlek is on ground level under the web-opnening.
Above him is Thok clinging with one hand to the limp web-netting.
Glop is hanging on the outside of the lair with a spider baby on her leg.
What to do heroes?

Glop_Stinktoe |

Glop sings to self - Oh I caught myself a baby spider, won't my gobs be so proud of me. Oh I caught myself a baby spider, ouch it tried to bite me. Oh I'm smooshing up my baby spider, won't my gobs be so proud of me, Oh I'm smooshing up my baby spider - yuck!!!
Cue Music - think Baby Bumble Bee. Nursery Kiddie kind of music.
Glop stares at spider trying to see if she can flick it on Grimlek but decides to smoosh it using her hand.
Attack - unarmed strick: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
If hit: Damage: 1d2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Grimlek Longtrunk |

Grimlek looks on in wonder as Thud slices spidey in halfz. Dogslicer good for spider slicing toos. Toothlizard chomp anything that come down that have more than two legses. Grimlek is about to sit back and watch when he has great idea! Last fireboom do great for lots-legs another fireboom do just as good! At that he takes out a fireboom randomly and lights it, pointing it at the webs.

Glop has bad feeling about this!!!!
Glop would like to move out of way of big boom if there is time?

DM Iron-Dice |

Glop sings a Goblin song and smacks the spidey on her leg. Snapping and popping can be heard and a bit of ichor stains her pants, but the itsey bitsey spider lives on.
Grimlek lights the last Desan Candle pointing it over his head at the lair, webs, spideys and gobs above him.
Glop still has a move action, so she scuttles 5 feet and wedges herself between the trunk and corner of the lair where it attaches. She now has partial cover from Grimlek's boomstick.
Thok, realizing it's a full round action to cut open the net, lets go and drops Aeieeeeeeeeeeeeee I can fl-! to the ground. Due to his great acrobatics skill to imitate a flying squirrel his damage is reduced to
Non lethal 1d6 ⇒ 1 and he's prone, face down in the dirt.

DM Iron-Dice |

As usual, Grimlek's aim with the shooting stars from the Desan Candle does not so much hit his target, as it hit's every target! Spinning in circles Grimlek's shooting silvery white streaks fly into and on to the lair. Into the webbing above, onto Glop in the tree, onto the web-net that Thok fell from. They even rain down on Grimlek's own head!
Do the sparks hitting Glop cause damage or just look cool?
No! They just sparkle on her head. Looks cool!
Does the oil Grimlek through on the ground catch fire from falling sparks?
No! The oil has soaked into the dirt to much to be flammable.
Does the lair catch on fire?
Of course it does! That's what he was aiming for. Duh!
The spider on Glop attempts to flee (Spider-Flea?) climbing down the tree to escape the flames.
Climb 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 Agile little Spider-Flea
AoO from Glop, otherwise the spider is at the base of the trunk.
The lair is smoldering but not fully alight yet. The three dazzled spiders still seem to be not recovered yet. Shinnies can be seen glinting in the flames.
The web-canopy and web-net are fully engulfed in flame and continue to burn.
Bad Gobs, Bad Gobs.
What'ca gona do? What'ca gona do, this turn's for you.

DM Iron-Dice |

SpiderGob, SpiderGob
Does whatever a SpiderGob does
Burns a web, any size
He's a thief and tells lies
Look out!
Here comes SpiderGob
Is he strong
Of course, he's Thud
He's got fire in his blood
Can he swing and hit 'lil spidey
Have no doubt, Thud is mighty
There goes SpiderGob
In the chill of the marsh
His vengeance is harsh
He likes streaking at night
That Thud, he's alright
SpiderGob, SpiderGob
Friendly Brinemarsh SpiderGob
Wealth and fame
He'll steal from you
He likes to roll in piles of poo
'Lil-legs-slicer chops spider-flea
cuts him in two by the tree
Thok is SpiderGob

DM Iron-Dice |

As the singing trails off, we've got;
Glop in the tree, outside the smoldering web-lair filled with shinnies and dazzled spideys
Thud (aka SpiderGob) chopping 'lil lots-legs into even 'liler bits at the tree base
Thok face down in the dirt
Grinlek holding an empty boom stick shacking it to see if any more boom is left
The overhead webs and net have burned away. Thuds Club and the meat shank, now cooked, fall to the ground.
Who does what? When? Where? And to whom?

Thok Burnskin |

Thok gets up and cleans himself off, looking to see if any more lil' spiders left.
Perception Check: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Seeing none, he finds the patch on the robe containing the ladder. He pops it off, and looks for a way to use the ladder to get to the shinies ((Unsure how big the ladder is)).

DM Iron-Dice |

Thok rips off a small cloth patch from his robe and BONG! a massive twelve foot tool erects from nowhere.
Grimlek is gobsmacked as he only sees a side view at first.
If Thok leans the wooden ladder against the tree, he would need to jump/climb or perform some other skill to grab the branch above with his hands.
Climb Tree DC 15
Jump up DC 12
Anything else creative is welcome and encouraged
Once holding onto the brach, and easy DC 8 strength or acrobatics to swing your legs over and be done.

Thok Burnskin |

Thok takes the ladder, walking slightly unsteady as he isn't use to the cumbersome load, leans it up against the tree. From there he simple climbs the ladder, and upon reaching the top, jumps to the nearest branch.
Jump Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Once he has a hold of the branch, he simply swings his legs up in a feat of acrobatics, and is ready to retrieve the shinies!
Acrobatics Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
