I say we sell the daredevil boots I am wearing as well. I think the group can use the gold more as I haven’t had to use them in two levels.

You know the rules for selling items: half the price for them while gems get sold at full price. You can also ask Sargaeta for a favor and gain 2.000gp that way (but it takes him a few days to gather the money).

Once we sell the items and gear up, I say we make our usual assault and try not to get swarmed. I say we ask for the 2k as well. Who knows when we will have the opportunity to do so again?

We should keep the MW Silver Morning Star. It is really too useful against Devils.

The Books and Minor Tomes we got from the monastery I believe allow us to have a small library to do research without leaving the lair. We should keep them I think too. I also think Rexus has them and is using them presently.

I agree with Oren...We should ask for the 2K in gp. We may not get the chance again.

I would be willing to learn perform to use the pipes, but my charisma sucks. I would hate to lose it however. That's a really useful item to have in a a city adventure.

For now, I think it would just be adding a +1 enhancement to any weapons just in terms of the amount of time we have.

Morricone, I'd be glad to enhance one of your weapons instead to level out how the magic weapons are distributed. I'm not worrying about enhancing anything for myself at this point since Rocco isn't going to be jumping into melee any time soon.

Also, doesn't crafting/enchanting stuff ourselves cut the cost in half, so it'd cost 1000 gp to enhance someone's weapon?

Speaking of, is there any reason to keep that magical whip? It’s pretty hard for a whip to be effective without totally dedicating a build to it. I think selling that might help the group more than keeping it.

I'll gladly sell the whip and I have 1200gp. I don't mind chipping in to give other people stuff. I was just asking cos I wasn't sure what we were capable of. And the gun's will just make noise so was mostly saving the money to get Silence put on the guns so that we don't have that problem in future, but that can be resolves if I can do a rebuild.

Otherwise I'm good to go and if anyone wants something enchanted or bought I'll donate gold to it.

Getting an enchanted weapon and some better armor would be paramount to Morricone. But more the armor than the weapon.

If you need more money here's a few options:

-Raise the rebellion's rank. At rank 6 (the next one for you if I'm not mistaken) each one of you gets a gift of 750 gp, for example.
-Use the "earn gold" action during rebellion phases.
-Ask around for "adventurer jobs" (that is side missions)

In general knowing how the rebellion works may provide you with chances to get stuff at lower prices or increase avaiability of items.

That said Lucky Bones itself may provide you with some trasure I think. Perhaps you should concentrate on useful items allowing you to overcome a few common dangers from tombs and dungeons before aiming for big new items.

Scrolls of Lesser Restoration might be useful at this level. Same for a new CLW wand.

A scroll with 5 uses of lesser restoration should cost 750gp if I'm not mistaken.
Sargaeta needs 3 days to put the gold together. If you are going to wait for him to deliver the money you may as well start a new rebellion round (if you get to rank 6 with the rebellion you get another 750gp each btw).
The choice is yours, just tell me what you want to do.

Remember, the cult that was there before were more than likely experts in Poison. We should pick up a few (one for each of us at least) alchemical anti-toxins at least, if we can't make them ourselves. Even if we don't use them here, they could always be useful later, and they are not that expensive if I remember correctly.

Definitely agree on antitoxin.
I'll do a rite of bodily purity to help with my own poison save.

I cannot make the circlet unfortuantely as druids are the only caster aside possibly from rangers (who hardly count as a caster, but..) who don't get eagles splendor.

What maybe handy is some scrolls of delay poison. I can cast a few, but that would use up all my second level spells and still not get everyone. But it would mean we didn't have to deal with the actual effects of the poison until we got out of the basement.

Right, so for a Circlet of Persuasion (level 5) the spellcraft DC is 15 if I don't know the spell. My spellcraft bonus is only +8, so I'd need at least a 7 on the dice.

So... 30% chance of failure. 70% chance of success, which makes the item half price. Probably worth taking the risk.

I'll go ahead and work on the breastplate then!

First of all, Rocco will spend 55 gp to buy a set of masterwork artisan's tools to boost his crafting skills a bit more.

Morricone, were you planning on purchasing the armor itself, and then I do my part to add the enhancement bonus? If not, it would take at least two weeks to craft you a +1 breastplate--1 week for the standard item + 1 week for the masterwork component + 1 day to add the enhancement bonus). Otherwise, it would just cost me the one day to enhance it (and 500 gp of course). To add the enhancement bonus, it will be a DC 8 craft (armor) or spellcraft check. I'll have Kurglunn aid me, and if he does so, it will be an automatic success.

Just let me know if you're buying the masterwork armor, or if I am, or if we were going to craft it from scratch.

I think Morricone would be fine with a regular BP for starters.
It´s just 200gp and after the circlet he would prefer the perfectly serviceable solution. Also we can go to a priest of Torag and get a Masterwork transformation on it later. ;-)

I'll answer that. His player (Helikon) and me have had quite the disagreement in a recent PFS game he was DMing.

What happened in that other game is that I pointed out a few mistakes and what I believe was a DM targetting his players, sometimes breaking rules and the scenario's NPC's behaviour as written in order to do so. Let's just say we could not find a way to get over our differences and I ended up reporting him.
I never even knew Morricone was one of his characters but I guess he feels the need to leave games DMed by me and after what happened I don't feel like trying to stop him.

If you want I can reopen recruitment, otherwise we can go on with a team of 4 people. Let me know.

I’m fine with four, but it is your game If you want to bring in a fifth, I’d say to do it now, while we are still getting our shopping lined out, as this would be a natural place to recruit a reinforcement.

We have little options for status removal, and Val is more of a fighter/utility than a solid healer.

I think we need to earn some gold this go round as we are scraping everything we can get together other now. I’m not sure what to roll for it, but I’ll roll a d20 and we can apply what ever modifiers to it.

Losing Morricone hurts us more than I would like. I'm sorry there was a problem, but we need a bard really. Or a charismatic Cleric or Oracle at least...

I would push for recruitment if possible.

I don't have problem subtracting 150 gp for a cure wand.
