Round 1

current status:

hp 14/14
ac 16

if it's possible for me to charge Goblin 3
Skorabor charges head first at one of the goblin, producing his great axe during the sprint. He jumps obstacles with an unexpected agility and pushes the spectators from his path. The dwarf fighter vents a thunderous battlecry as he leaps towards the goblin. "For Torag! Your skull shall crown his halls!". His strike sadly is ill timed and the dwarf buries his axe in the table beside the goblin.

Full round action to charge Goblin 3. Attack roll: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 + 1 - 1 = 8 (+2 charge, +1 hatred, -1 power attack), damage roll: 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19 AC is now 14

If i can't charge i'll make a double move to get as close to Goblin 3 as well.

Male Halfling Sea-Singer Bard 4 (AC: 17 [T: 14 /F: 14]; HP: 26/26; F+1, R+7, W+4; Init: +3; Perc: +9)

Durvin, so wrapped up in the festivities is caught completely unawares by the attack. Aghast at the idea that only such foul creatures would bother to interfere with the enjoyment of so many, Durvin draws his thin blade and moves to leap on the table beside the goblin.

Moving to land on the end of the table at D13, by way of F14-E14 to get a running start. Acrobatics 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Knowing he won't be able to bring his weapon to bear after his leap, he begins instead a mocking lyrical of the Goblin's song.

Goblins whine and goblins cry
Goblins fail and goblins die
Slain by men, and kicked by horse
Goblins will all die of course!

Next round I will start Bard song. Could only draw and move this one.

Stark is caught by surprise as everyone clears out, rushing past him. "It seems I'll be able to demonstrate my abilities, after all, Skora." He chuckles as he moves closer to each of the goblins G.11, and speaks a couple words as he traces two symbols in the air "tselevye bolezn" and targets the third goblin with selected wrack DC 15 Fort, or become sickened.

Love the song, Durvin!

Occa and Durvin both move to flank the goblin standing on the table. Durvin attempts to distract the goblin as Occa stabs at it with his trident, but unfortunately the goblin manages to duck under the weapon. He returns the attack, taking a swing at you with a plate he had picked up while stuffing his pockets with food.

Goblin 1 attacks Occa w/ plate: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13 (-4 for improvised weapon)

Unfortunately for the goblin, Occa places his buckler in just the right place, causing the plate to smash. The goblins looks sullen for a second before realizing he is still holding his dogslicer as well and then he grins.

Hawkeye takes a swipe at the goblin next to him, but it was just a little to fast for him, nimbly stepping aside to avoid being hit. It takes a swing at Hawkeye.

Goblin 2 attacks Hawkeye: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

The goblins attack is successful as he slashes across Hawkeyes legs. Hawkeye's HP is now 5/10 The goblin smiles from ear to ear, egged on by the blood he has drawn.

Goblin 3 Fortitude save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Meanwhile Skorabor charges the third goblin, only to swing and miss as the goblin dodges around the crate next to him. Starks spell connects and the goblin says "Me no feel so well.... He takes a swipe at Skorabor, despite his condition.

Goblin 3 attacks Skorabor: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 (-2 for sickened)

Being so sick, the goblins attack is way off course, not even coming close to the dwarf. The goblin decides to attempt to retreat to a safer position, under the nearby table (K12).

Skorabor may make an attack of opportunity on the goblin in addition to his actions for the next round. The only damage so far is to Hawkeye (5 damage) and Goblin 3 is sickened (-2 to atk, dmg, saves, skill and ability checks).

Round 2

"Stand still ye wide mouth vermin", Skorabor snarls as the goblin ducks under his second swing (AoO: 1d20 + 4 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 - 1 = 7 (+1 hatred, -1 power attack), damage 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12). "Ye can't escape a Boulderback!", he continues as he pursuits his target (move action to K11). This time he takes a moment to aim his swing and buries his axe in the goblin (standard action to attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 1 = 24 (+1 hatred), damage 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12).

Seeing Hawkeye having difficulty, "Here, let me help, Hawkeye." He looks to the goblin next to Hawkeye, and moves closer to catch him in his next spell. H.8 "Konus plamya" cone flame jet Stark recites, as he traces a couple more symbols in the air.

flame jet 1d4 ⇒ 1 fire damage, Ref 14 half (half of one? lol)

Male Halfling Sea-Singer Bard 4 (AC: 17 [T: 14 /F: 14]; HP: 26/26; F+1, R+7, W+4; Init: +3; Perc: +9)

Dyrvin dances and weaves with his blade, threatening but not actually swinging. He notices that Occa still has the goblin's attention, so he continues his berating song. His mocking tone advertises just how much of a non-threat they truly are.

Standard Bard song, inspire courage

Goblins are foul, and goblins stink
Goblins may speak, but they don't think
Their ugly faces, and sickening smell
We'll send these goblins straight to hell.

Goblin 2 Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 (passes, which unless I'm mistaking means 0 damage in this case)

Skorabor's swing is true as he chops the goblin in two. Meanwhile, Stark speaks some words and flame sprays from his hands, singing the clothes of the goblin attacking Hawkeye, but not affecting the goblin itself. Durvin's singing bolsters the rest of his companions. Occa benefits the most from the singing, as his trident strikes true (Goblin 1 takes 5 damage). Unfortunately, Hawkeye misses his target.

Goblin 1, now very injured, decides to run away (He double moves to M7, avoiding Skorabor and Stark, though Durvin and Occa both may make an Attack of Opportunity).

Goblin 2 is quite excited with his first attack and decides to try it again. But first he steps to E8 where Stark has a harder time getting to him.

Goblin 2 attacks Hawkeye: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 (OUCH! Hawkeye is down to 1 hp)

The goblin giggles with glee, as he stabs the funny birdman again.

Occa and Durvin have an AoO, Hawkeye is down to 1 HP, Goblin 1 has taken 5 damage, and Goblin 3 is dead.

HP: 1/10
AC 12
Fort +3, Ref +2, Will +6
Status/Buffs: None!

It is clear I've used up any online luck I had in the first two shots of the archery competition.

Hawkeye, ignoring the pain and the fading of consciousness continues to beat on the goblin. He might have heard someone say something but he channels all his energy into an enormous swing of his staff at the goblin.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Male Halfling Sea-Singer Bard 4 (AC: 17 [T: 14 /F: 14]; HP: 26/26; F+1, R+7, W+4; Init: +3; Perc: +9)

Durvin, surprised by the goblin's choice to flee, swings wildly with his blade.

AoO, with flank and song 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Making a solid hit against the beastie almost accidentally, as his focus is instead on his wounded companion. "Hawkeye! Leave him alone you filthy snot-licker!"

He moves to Hawkeye's side, trying to get a good look at the injury. After his shock, he continues the song, mainly to maintain his own calm.

Goblins fall and goblins run
Goblins die and we have won
Stinking, Filthy, Nasty, Vile
Their smell alone raises bile

He struggles to keep the rhyme in his worry over Hawkeye

Move to G9 no AoO, Free to maintain song, Standard to CLW on Hawkeye 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Round 3
hp 14/14
AC 14 (-2 for charging)

Skorabor raises his axe in triumph over his fallen opponent. "That's what fine dwarven craftmanship will do!" he proclaims proudly. The clattering of feet behind introduces him to his next opponent. With zeal in his eyes he turns towards the fleeing goblin and launches himself into a charge (full round action to charge Goblin 1: 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 2 + 1 = 9 (+2 charge, +1 hatred), damage 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12). Sadly the proud fighter miscalculates his swing and the blade flies harmlessly beside the goblin.

Aw, come on!

Very nice CLW!

Goblin 2 Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 (Not catching a break on the reflex, huh?)

As the first goblin runs from the group, both Occa and Durvin take a swing at it. Durvin, though distracted, manages to land a killing blow. Occa tries to pull the second goblin away from Hawkeye, but to no avail. Stark shoots another blast of fire at the same goblin, who is actually singed this time, though it manages to duck around most of the flames. Hawkeye manages to finally strike the goblin, knocking it squarely on the center of the head. The blow is enough to put the goblin out of commission. Durvin lays hands on Hawkeye's wounds and a bright line shines forth as they are healed. Hawkeye is back to full HP!

Before the party has a chance to compose themselves, a loud explosion can be heard from the west. When you look over you see a bunch of goblins have managed to find the oil that was to be used for the bonfire! They've set a small crate of fireworks off and are now heading this way, trying to set fire to things along the way. One of the goblins, looks like a female, appears to be leading the others

Note: I didn't move Skorabor, as the goblin was killed before he had a chance.

I'm going to reuse the same map for the next battle, again to save me some effort. You have one round to get ready for five goblins (four are carrying torches and dogslicers and the fifth is chanting their song and carrying a whip).

New initiative:
Durvin: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Hawkeye: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Occa: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Skorabor: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Stark: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Enemies: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

See above for the new initiatives. If you guys are okay with the block system I have in place, you would all be acting at the same time before the enemies, in post order. After a full round with everyone acting, the goblins will show up (double move to enter the map). You'll get the first round of attacks once they show up.

I've also made the map bigger so it is easier to read.

I would also like to point out that I rolled three nat 20's in this post!

Goblin Warchanter

DMD you're the man! No problemo about posting. I'll not be posting as much as I normally do either for the same reason. How long would it take for me to retrieve my bow? Probably far, far too long, right?

Hawkeye pauses at the crossbow, studying it. "I have never used one before." Thinking about how badly it hurt getting stabbed, he takes the crossbow.

"Just like shooting a regular bow, no?"
Hawkeye prays and casts Aspect of the Falcon on himself.

Hawkeye's eyes seem to get bigger and he appears to be very alert.

"Flip a table", Skorabor snorts. "I don't need any cover from these baloonheaded freaks. They're the ones in need of cover from me!" the dwarf announces and moves to meet the approaching goblins.

Skorabor would like to position himself so he can charge one of the goblin's on his turn.

Male Halfling Sea-Singer Bard 4 (AC: 17 [T: 14 /F: 14]; HP: 26/26; F+1, R+7, W+4; Init: +3; Perc: +9)

After the team dispatches the first three goblins, he moves to a space behind the table with Occa. Once behind the table he sticks his blade into the ground and draws his shortbow. Nocking an arrow, he prepares to fire as soon as the goblins are within range. All the while, he continues to sing his version of the song, trying to keep eveyone's spirits high. Having come up with the three stanzas, Durvin follows suit to the goblin song he mocks and repeats it. He pauses only to ask Skora about his tactics, "Skora, can you let them get closer before you strike, so we can help if things go sour?"

Goblins whine and goblins cry
Goblins fail and goblins die
Slain by men, and kicked by horse
Goblins will all die of course!

Move to F.12. Ready casting distant selected cramp (Fort 14, speed reduced to half) until the ugly one (with the whip) comes within medium distance (110 ft).

As he positions himself between two tables, he says, "I wonder how more there are. They sure are making a mess of this festival. I was having such a good time too." Tracing, this time, three symbols in the air, it takes him but a moment to call upon his power. "DALEKII tselevye sudoroga" Stark recites the spell as the goblins come toward him and his new friends. Knowing these goblins are no match for his friends, Stark targets the different one, curious of it's abilities.

Durvin Tamish wrote:

He pauses only to ask Skora about his tactics, "Skora, can you let them get closer before you strike, so we can help if things go sour?"

Skorabor stops in his tracks and turns to the halfling. "Help if things go sour? My dear halfin', yer talkin' to Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback! There ain't a goblin 'live that can put a dent in this armor much less make a scratch on a Boulderback! Ye just wait and i'll go fetch ye their heads", he boasts pounds himself on the chest. "Ah, here they come!"

Treat that as a delay so the goblins will have a chance to advance onto the battlemap and Durvin/Hawkeye will get a shot off before Skorabor charges.

Okay, the long wait is over! I'm still busy, so it may be awhile before I get another one in.

Occa hands Hawkeye a loaded crossbow and they both move towards the center table. Durvin joins them as well, while Stark prepares to cast a spell nearby. Skorabor, confident in his abilities, stays right where he is.

Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Stark's spell goes off but the ugly goblin keeps on coming.

Durvin's attack from above is noted (please select a target). I know Skorabor is charging, but where to and I need atk/dmg rolls. I also need Hawkeye and Occa's actions (which will go off first due to Skorabor's "accidental" delay).

Stark, did I read that right that you are holding the charge for now? I'll just use your attack roll from above (atk 20, dmg 3 fire) when you move next the "ugly one" then.

Durvin and Hawkeye both take shots at different goblins, and both goblins takes an arrow or bolt to the chest. Unfortunately, they keep coming, spurred on by the Warchanter behind them. Skorabor charges one of goblins headed straight for Stark, but puts a little too much power into his attack, causing him to swing just short of the goblin. Stark readies Flame Jet once again, this time his hands glow with fire ready to be unleashed. Occa hands his quiver of bolts to Hawkeye and then draws on the power of Gozreh to bring misfortune upon his enemies.

Goblin Saves:

2: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10

Goblin attacks:

2: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 - 1 = 14, damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
3: 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 - 1 = 7, damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Warchanter: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (14) - 1 = 13

The first goblin makes a beeline toward the man who put an arrow through him, Hawkeye, who he decides to attack with his torch. Hawkeye, who was anticipating a swing with the crude sword, was caught offguard and took the torch to the leg, singing him just a little bit. Skorabor is assaulted by two goblins and the warchanter. The first goblins dogslicer bounces of the dwarf's armor. Skorabor avoids the second goblin's swing as well. The Warchanter, still singing the goblin's battle chant, tries to trip Skorabor up, but to no avail (he's not very smart to try and trip up a dwarf). Meanwhile, the final goblin is attempting to set fire to the wooden table nearby, though he isn't having much luck as of yet.

Summary: Hawkeye takes 3 bludgeoning and 1 fire damage from the torch (I swear I'm not trying to pick on you!). Goblin 1 took 3 damage and Goblin 3 took 5 damage. All four normal goblins have -1 to atk and saves vs. fear.

I think I'm starting to develop a little bit of a style when it comes to these battles. I'm going to try and keep dice rolls together and spoilered and hopefully have a summary at the end of each post. This should be (ideally) more clear and concise for you all. Also, I'm noticing that the numbers for the goblins are sort of blurry. Hopefully I'll be able to fix the quality a little bit, or somehow make it easier to read (maybe a different color).

Goblin Pyros (Round 2)

Oops, thanks Hawkeye for reminding me about experience. Everyone receives 100 XP for the first three goblins and an additional 100 XP for the awesome role-playing prior to that. I must say that I am extremely impressed with this group so far. I think this has the potential to be one of those long-running games that everyone so desperately wants to get involved in. Remember to provide some feedback if you find something I can do better. I'm always looking to improve!

DM Duke wrote:

That is correct. My intent was to delay until the ugly goblin was within moving distance, so that I may cast the spell, then move to him and discharge it in his face (melee touch). Because it's a touch spell, it only requires an attack roll, and doesn't have a save (unless I misread the entry).

Knowing Hawkeye's propensity for getting hit in battle, Durvin decides to keep shooting at the goblin with the torch. This time he backs his words with a axe to the poor goblins head. "Haha, i told ye!", he shouts in triumph as his axe once again sheds blood. The dwarf turns his helmeted head on the goblin warsinger. "Yer next", he says with a grim smile and advances (5ft step to G9).

Just once i'd like to have a good attack roll AND a good damage roll.

"Ye all right back there?", he calls out over his shoulder.

ROUND 2

Ac 14 HP 13 Fort +4 Ref +1 Will +5
Effects: 1 surge used. Bless 9 rounds left

mechanics and rolls:
Move action. Move to G,10 to prevent a flank on Bouldurback

Standard action. Attack Goblin 3 or the Warchanter if goblin 3 is down. Attack? 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 1 = 12 song included. Damage? 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 = 9 song included.

"Durvin, Help Hawkeye." Occa calls as he moves forward. "Crazy dwarves." he curses under his breath as he moves to prevent the warrior from becoming surrounded.

Stark steps up to the warchanter and places his hand over her face, burning her with the intense fire he brought forth. Durvin, still singing his uplifting song of goblin incompetence, fires a shot at the goblin attacking Hawkeye, but misses. He chooses to drop his bow and pulls out his rapier instead. Hawkeye takes a step back and fires at the goblin who assaulted him with a torch. Unfortunately, primarily due to his inexperience with crossbows, he misses. Skorabor, fed up with the fast little goblins, finally manages to nab one. He slashes it across the chest, causing it to drop, then steps over to the ugly goblin warchanter. Occa steps up to backup Stark and Skorabor, but misses when he attacks the warchanter.

Goblin attacks:
Goblin 1: Attack - 1d20 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 - 1 = 14, Damage - 1d4 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 - 1 = 4
Goblin 2: Attack (flanking included) - 1d20 + 3 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 2 - 1 = 16
Warchanter: Trip attempt - 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
(-1 is for bane)

The goblin that attacked Hawkeye with a torch falls back as it hears its leader scream in pain from the burning hand of Stark. He takes a swing at Stark, cutting his legs a little bit. The warchanter, pissed about being burned attempts to trip Stark with his whip, just barely managing to wrap it around one of Stark's legs. Another goblin steps up to help out his warchanter buddy, attacking Skorabor, but once again his dogslicer just slices along armor. The goblin still holding a torch has finally succeeded in setting the northern-most table on fire. He starts to celebrate, only to be burned by the fire and forced back a few steps.

Summary:
Skorabor may make an Attack of Opportunity against the warchanter for using a whip in a threatened square. Stark takes 4 damage and will be tripped unless Skorabor succeeds in dropping the warchanter on his AoO (assume Stark is now prone). Goblin 4 takes 1 fire damage. The warchanter takes 3 fire damage. And Goblin 3 is dying and unconscious.

Goblins Pyros (Round 3)

I rolled three 12's... How odd!

ROUND 3

Confusion strikes! If Stark was in hand to hand range of the Warchanter. And the Chanter moved away then would not both Stark and Occa get aoo's when the chanter moved from H,9 to H,8?

Occa looks at goblin. "Not on my watch."

action and dice:

Wind blast on goblin 2. AKA no aoo bull rush. Effect? 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12 song included. Well that was ineffective.

The Chanter took a five-foot step, which does not provoke. Using a whip automatically provokes, which is why Skorabor gets an AoO.

Oh right, sorry

Spoiler:

Warchanter + pyros Round 3
HP: 6/10
AC: 12
Fort +3, Ref +2, Will +6
Buffs:
??/10 Inspire Courage - +1 Atk/ +1 Dmg and +1 saves vs charm/fear
3/10 Aspect of the Falcon: +1 to ranged attacks, +3 to perception
bows/crossbows crit range is now 19/20 x3

Hawkeye steadies himself, reloads and fires at Goblin 4, hoping to scare him off... or kill him. Whatever the gods choose. "Run away while you can evil! There is no mercy here."

dice/mechanics:

Move-reload, Standard-Fire, Free- Speak.
To Hit: (same pluses and minuses as before)1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Woo natural 20!
Confirm: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19

O.O
Confirm (again for fun): 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

Ok so for critical hits do you multiply by three or do you let us roll the dice again and add?

Here are both methods:

Mulitply: 7x3 = 21
Separate: 7 + 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 + 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 = 18

Well the gods definitely chose the fate of Goblin 4, alright! I'll leave the description of the crit to you, DMD.

Oh, i get a AoO? Nice!
Calling out to his companions Skorabor realises to late and misses his opportunity to strike as the warchanter lashes out with her whip and his swing hits nothing but air (AoO: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 4 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 8 (+1 hatred, +1 inspire, -1 power attack), damage 1d12 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 1 = 14 (+1 inspire)).

Round 3
ac 16
hp 14/14

"I'll deal with ye in a second, just gonna finish off yer sister", Skorabor responds to the dog slicer scraping off his armor then returns his focus to the warchanter in front of him. Wild swings are exchanged but all fail to strike (1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 7 (+1 hatred, +1 inspire, -1 power attack), damage 1d12 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 1 = 18 (+1 inspire)). The dwarf had been away from home to long. The gutter rats and other vermin that passed for citizens in the cesspool they called Riddleport had been bigger and not this quick. His aim and swing had faltered during his stay there. He would have to do better. Skorabor spits on the ground before him before advancing again to resume the dance of death.

The dice gods better compensate me for this later. Skorabor will not be made a fool of!

Hawkeye: You would roll the extra damage, so 18 it is! I think the crossbow bolt went through that goblins eye... And caught fire as it went through the flames of the table!

Skorabor: Yeah, you aren't having much luck, huh?

Ok great. I've seen both so I figured I'd ask.

The once hysterical goblin's laughing is cut short as a squishy sound and a thud of a crossbow bolt hitting the earth is heard. Its disgusting ears relax and slump, his grin disappears and its body collapses onto the burning table. Dark red blood drips to the ground and begins to pool beneath the corpse.

Hawkeye, meanwhile, says nothing. He begins the process of re-arming the crossbow and picking a new target.

Male Halfling Sea-Singer Bard 4 (AC: 17 [T: 14 /F: 14]; HP: 26/26; F+1, R+7, W+4; Init: +3; Perc: +9)

With his blade now in hand, Durvin moves to entrap the goblin beside Stark. At the same time he interposes himself between the vermin and Hawkeye. Using the threatening presence of Stark's fiery grasp, Durvin hopes to find the goblin distracted before he swings.

Mechanics:
Move to J12, Free to keep singing (6th rnd), Standard attack Gob1 with flank. 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 2 + 1 = 18(flank, IC), damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2.

He strikes true, but weakly, distracted by Hawkeye's incredible shot. "Great shot my friend!" then to the goblins, "That's what happens when you mess with the wrong crowd." After the breif statement, his continues with the next stanza.

Slow day?

We're just waiting on Stark. Anyone heard from him? Last I saw, he swapped out Improved Initiative for Toughness, but hasn't posted an action this round yet. I want to give him some more time before taking temporary control.

Sorry, been busy with helping out a family member with their wedding, and work, etc.

Stark stands up and begins tracing a couple symbols in the air "Konus plamya" and exhales a small cone of flame at the ugly goblin that now carries a palm shaped scar on his face. Cone flame jet, originating from the intersection of G/H.9/10. Who says the cone must come from my hand? ;)

cone flame jet 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Ref 14 half, fire, red dragon arcana (seems I've been forgetting my extra fire damage this whole time, oops)

No problem! Life comes first, as always. Anyway, I'm going to have to wait to update the battle until tomorrow morning. I don't have access to the map at the moment.

Warchanter Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Goblin 1 AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Hawkeye's shot drops the goblin, who is now burning in the flames of the picnic table. Meanwhile, a blast of wind forces one of the goblins away from Occa and Durvin strikes true against another goblin. Stark stands up, avoiding the swipe of a goblin. The flame spewed forth by Stark singes the warchanter once again, but not as effectively as he wished.

Dice Rolls:
Goblin 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Goblin 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

The goblin who was pushed back by Occa's blast of wind, returns to the fray, futilely taking a swipe at the cleric. The other goblin turns to attack Durvin, but his swing is wild and Durvin too quick. The warchanter stops singing her warsong and drops her whip. She pulls out her dogslicer, steps back a few feet and points at Stark, who has twice now burned her. In her hand you notice a small clump of wool which disappears in a flash. Stark's mind begins to cloud.

Summary:
Warchanter: The warchanter takes 2 more damage (now up to 5). She steps back five feet (free) and casts a spell (standard) directed at Stark. She also drops her whip (free) and pulls out a dogslicer (move). She is no longer singing (free).

Goblin 1: Takes 2 damage.

Stark: You must make a DC 11 will save or be dazed for one round (dazed means you can take no actions, but you don't take any penalties to AC either).

Goblin Pyros (Round 4)

I've decided to remove the dying goblins, as they just clutter the map. You can easily step into those squares without it being difficult terrain, since the goblins are small anyway.
