didn't bother making a map for this fight.

Spoiler:
I figured you'd make short work of it.

And Green you can roll and go this round too because I already don't like my silly idea of using a perception roll to determine how fast you wake up.

edit: added word silly

Downtime Gnome Sorceror (draconic) 5

With medium monks getting d6 unarmed attack, it is hard to see Alice getting less with sharp claws.

Spoiler:
Init:3 | Per:8 | HP: 24/24 | AC:16 FF:15 T:14 | CMB:6 CMD:20 | F:3 R:5 W:7
Monk (Master of Many Styles) 3

My unarmed is d6, but my claws are indeed d4 when medium sized. I don't have Flurry of blows due to Master of many styles, so I attack with two claws. I have crane style now, but plan on taking panther and another as well. Maybe snake.

Male hp: 45/45; AC:17/14-ff16/14-tch10; F+7, R+4, W+5; Initiative 0, Perception +5

Strange idea about the howlbear, can we capture it and train it in some ways? or find the cubs?

you wanna confirm that crit Norton? Just roll a 19 or 20 and it'll be a crit.

Spoiler:

My apologies, had some things come up IRL, but I am back!

Alice - Not a problem. Hope all is ok.

Just a heads up that between May 13th to the 17th I'll be attending a leadership conference and will have limited posting ability.

Cool. Maybe you can get some pointers on running a kingdom!

Sure! I'll get to do team-building activities with all the councilmen. "All right, today for a team-building exercise we're going to raid the Dungeon of Darkest Perils. Minister of Finance, you'll be scouting ahead, Minister of Defense, you'll stay ahead of the rest of us and develop strategies. Minister of Foreign Affairs will deal with all the bad guys we encounter."

Now why didn't they do this at any of the meetings *I* have attended?

Tomorrow is my last day of school. My posting should be far less erratic for the next few months. Ta' should be back soon as well, so we can get going on this Stag Lord fellow.

On the first flight home now. Should be home tonight. Just checking up on games while waiting for takeoff.

Are we waiting for something?

Sorry had family medical problems then wedding... now I am going on my yearly cabin trip til sunday. I'm hoping to have internet... will let you know ASAP if I do.

Well played Norton

Yep, our Norton is a "player" alright.

I'll finish post in a bit. Power is flickering here, and didn't want to lose what I had

OK I think I'm done with my turn... multi-tasking while spacy...

Understandable on wanting to wait, I'm fine with delaying until he comes back.

Just got back, about to post

Male hp: 45/45; AC:17/14-ff16/14-tch10; F+7, R+4, W+5; Initiative 0, Perception +5

I'm a little lost, to my count we are in Round 5, Errol, Ta and Norton still have to act, is that right?

correct... although I'm not posting errol's actions while he is out of view of everyone

{HP 32/32 | AC17 T12 FF13 CMD17 | F/R/W 5/3/8 | Init +2 Per +11/13 SM+4} Female Human Druid 3 {Kingdom} {NPCs} {Downtime}

Just so I know for future reference, on summoned creatures, do you want me rolling their attacks adn keeping track of HP and whatnot, or would you rather do so?

I don't mind either way. If you use a move action to push them, then I think you should roll... so maybe it would be best for you to do their rolls all the time. Keeping track of hit points is optional I will do that myself even if you do too.

Edit... never mind the push thing, I just read the spell...

I... uh just saved the map flattened as a jpeg and closed it accidently. So try to finish these guys off quick without moving around a lot ;)

(Ta'de-win now has Round 7 actions coming.)

Male hp: 45/45; AC:17/14-ff16/14-tch10; F+7, R+4, W+5; Initiative 0, Perception +5

I'm confused, wasn't the Stag Lord staying on the edge of the hole?
Last map shows him on M16, I thought the white line was the edge of the hole and that Norton could push him to N16 and that would have meant him falling down.

I'm sorry. This map is pretty confusing, and I hadn't anticipated having as much difficulty representing the different layers. The white line is the edge of the platform.

You are correct, you could have pushed him to N,16 which would be off the platform and onto the roof however...
(the hole is above (P-S,12) (O-T,13)

So. The platforms go across the roof, and are just about a foot above it. You knocking him off the platform and onto the roof will force him to make a Reflex save or lose his next round of actions. If he were to move any closer to the hole (the five feet of crumbling stone roof) there is a chance it will crumble under his weight.

other info I meant to describe once all were out from hiding...

The entire keep and palisade looks like it was started by master craftsmen, then finished by amateurs with cobblestone from halfway up. The wooden structures, supports, and platforms keep the poorly constructed portions from collapsing. The platforms also allow for sentries to see over the palisade without risking the treacherous looking catwalk along the inner wall of the palisade.

Male hp: 45/45; AC:17/14-ff16/14-tch10; F+7, R+4, W+5; Initiative 0, Perception +5

Can I change the Bull Rush with a normal attack?

I did it because it was a good stunt even if Norton was getting AoOed and the damage would have been lesser.
There is no point in all the maneuver if he is too far from the ledge.

Go ahead and make an attack of opportunity from him stumbling.

trying to organize sequence of last round and beginning of this round. Almost done.

... just noticed I forgot Murak on the map.
Captured bandits and NPCs who have moved out of sight not shown intentionally.

Reminds me of something they say in the military "Even the best plans rarely survive execution".
We DID have a plan when we started didn't we?
I blame circumstance.

Male hp: 45/45; AC:17/14-ff16/14-tch10; F+7, R+4, W+5; Initiative 0, Perception +5

I deem it went pretty well, we were able to get into it without assaulting the fence, talked a few bandits out of the battle, subdued the minions quickly so we can concentrate on the big foe as a group.

Not too bad.

Male Human (Ulfen) Skald Lvl 1 HP 10/10 | AC:16 | T:14 | FF:13 | CMB: +5 | CMD:15 | Fort:+2| Ref:+4 | Will:+1| Init:+2 | Perc: +3 | Speed 30 | Raging song 6/6 |

No, I don't dispute that, but we were hoping to have a chance to scout a bit more before combat right?
I don't like the idea that we're all moving to the middle with a lot of the base still unseen, might be that they can flank us and cut off our retreat.
Ah, but we'll make do, let's just wing it.

You had three bandits make their perception rolls to discover something was wrong about the load in the wagons. With one it ended up not mattering because they were too late, one was on his way inside with a crate with the intention of "quietly raising the alarm". Akiros noticed right when Norton convinced him to quit the battle. One or two more rounds and it would have been much more difficult... if Akiros hadn't been dissuaded from fighting, it could have gotten nasty.

Haha, ok ok, I'll take of my jade colored glasses now. We're doing good, perhaps better than we should have.

Male hp: 45/45; AC:17/14-ff16/14-tch10; F+7, R+4, W+5; Initiative 0, Perception +5

I have updated the loot spreadsheet here

up to now there is only Norton's possessions and what we left at Oleg's, feel free to add your own stuff, on top you have filters for quick grouping. I see there is some magical stuff still unidentified (* symbol in front of name)

Furiel - you are up.

Norton - everything OK?

Male hp: 45/45; AC:17/14-ff16/14-tch10; F+7, R+4, W+5; Initiative 0, Perception +5

have to go to the mall for a wifi this week, besides, no much I can do against an invisible foe

Ok gotcha no prob. Thanks for checking in.

I guess we have lost Alice again?
I'm just going to state that I have always liked the dynamic of the five player group, just in case the idea of recruiting a replacment comes up.

Yeah... Five would be good.

Incidently... Green - I think you were wearing a amulet of natural armor +1.
Ta'de-win - your leaf armor is +1
Furiel - roll higher

Downtime Gnome Sorceror (draconic) 5

I thought with a +10 UMD that using a healing wand would be a decent option for Furiel to help out.

Obviously need to roll better. After first heal, I get a +2 to make it +12 to UMD for knowing the wand.

Regarding recruitment... what should we look for?

Downtime Gnome Sorceror (draconic) 5

I think with the four we have, and the versatility of Green to span healing and fighting, we can take anyone.

We do have one weakness--magical trap removal. As we have no trapmaster, a bard archaeologist, trapper ranger, or rogue that hasn't given up trapfinding would be preferred. We need a burglar-maybe Bilbo Baggins is free.

{HP 32/32 | AC17 T12 FF13 CMD17 | F/R/W 5/3/8 | Init +2 Per +11/13 SM+4} Female Human Druid 3 {Kingdom} {NPCs} {Downtime}

I don't personally know how common magic traps are in this AP for it to matter, but that is a deficiency we possess. I personally like bards, and not sure how high Norton will go.

If we didn't really need a trapper, I also wouldn't mind a witch (good mix healing/offense/debuff). And oracles can do all kinds of awesome. Hmmm, not really sure to be honest what I'd want to look for.
