My unarmed is d6, but my claws are indeed d4 when medium sized. I don't have Flurry of blows due to Master of many styles, so I attack with two claws. I have crane style now, but plan on taking panther and another as well. Maybe snake.

Just a heads up that between May 13th to the 17th I'll be attending a leadership conference and will have limited posting ability.
Ta'de-win of the Gale |
Sure! I'll get to do team-building activities with all the councilmen. "All right, today for a team-building exercise we're going to raid the Dungeon of Darkest Perils. Minister of Finance, you'll be scouting ahead, Minister of Defense, you'll stay ahead of the rest of us and develop strategies. Minister of Foreign Affairs will deal with all the bad guys we encounter."
Ta'de-win of the Gale |
On the first flight home now. Should be home tonight. Just checking up on games while waiting for takeoff.
Ta'de-win of the Gale |
And back home!
Ta'de-win of the Gale |
Understandable on wanting to wait, I'm fine with delaying until he comes back.
Ta'de-win of the Gale |
Just so I know for future reference, on summoned creatures, do you want me rolling their attacks adn keeping track of HP and whatnot, or would you rather do so?
DM Bloodgargler |
I don't mind either way. If you use a move action to push them, then I think you should roll... so maybe it would be best for you to do their rolls all the time. Keeping track of hit points is optional I will do that myself even if you do too.
Edit... never mind the push thing, I just read the spell...
Norton Ambrosi |
I'm confused, wasn't the Stag Lord staying on the edge of the hole?
Last map shows him on M16, I thought the white line was the edge of the hole and that Norton could push him to N16 and that would have meant him falling down.
DM Bloodgargler |
I'm sorry. This map is pretty confusing, and I hadn't anticipated having as much difficulty representing the different layers. The white line is the edge of the platform.
You are correct, you could have pushed him to N,16 which would be off the platform and onto the roof however...
(the hole is above (P-S,12) (O-T,13)
So. The platforms go across the roof, and are just about a foot above it. You knocking him off the platform and onto the roof will force him to make a Reflex save or lose his next round of actions. If he were to move any closer to the hole (the five feet of crumbling stone roof) there is a chance it will crumble under his weight.
DM Bloodgargler |
other info I meant to describe once all were out from hiding...
The entire keep and palisade looks like it was started by master craftsmen, then finished by amateurs with cobblestone from halfway up. The wooden structures, supports, and platforms keep the poorly constructed portions from collapsing. The platforms also allow for sentries to see over the palisade without risking the treacherous looking catwalk along the inner wall of the palisade.
Norton Ambrosi |
Can I change the Bull Rush with a normal attack?
I did it because it was a good stunt even if Norton was getting AoOed and the damage would have been lesser.
There is no point in all the maneuver if he is too far from the ledge.
Bregor Rowain |
Reminds me of something they say in the military "Even the best plans rarely survive execution".
We DID have a plan when we started didn't we?
I blame circumstance.
Bregor Rowain |
No, I don't dispute that, but we were hoping to have a chance to scout a bit more before combat right?
I don't like the idea that we're all moving to the middle with a lot of the base still unseen, might be that they can flank us and cut off our retreat.
Ah, but we'll make do, let's just wing it.
DM Bloodgargler |
You had three bandits make their perception rolls to discover something was wrong about the load in the wagons. With one it ended up not mattering because they were too late, one was on his way inside with a crate with the intention of "quietly raising the alarm". Akiros noticed right when Norton convinced him to quit the battle. One or two more rounds and it would have been much more difficult... if Akiros hadn't been dissuaded from fighting, it could have gotten nasty.

I have updated the loot spreadsheet here
up to now there is only Norton's possessions and what we left at Oleg's, feel free to add your own stuff, on top you have filters for quick grouping. I see there is some magical stuff still unidentified (* symbol in front of name)
Bregor Rowain |
I guess we have lost Alice again?
I'm just going to state that I have always liked the dynamic of the five player group, just in case the idea of recruiting a replacment comes up.
Furiel |
I think with the four we have, and the versatility of Green to span healing and fighting, we can take anyone.
We do have one weakness--magical trap removal. As we have no trapmaster, a bard archaeologist, trapper ranger, or rogue that hasn't given up trapfinding would be preferred. We need a burglar-maybe Bilbo Baggins is free.
Ta'de-win of the Gale |
I don't personally know how common magic traps are in this AP for it to matter, but that is a deficiency we possess. I personally like bards, and not sure how high Norton will go.
If we didn't really need a trapper, I also wouldn't mind a witch (good mix healing/offense/debuff). And oracles can do all kinds of awesome. Hmmm, not really sure to be honest what I'd want to look for.
