1st level
20 pt buy
Starting gold: max for your class
Traits: two traits + campaign trait (If none even remotely fit lemme know)
either of the two can be... make (your choice of skill) a class skill, and +1 to that skill. Just add fluff.
Background skills will be used.
Race + Class: pretty much any paizo source.
Hit points: max 1st level, half +1 every subsequent level.
It'll all go a lot better if your character is truly invested in Kintargo somehow.
Possible springboard...
What do you care for immensely/love or what is your goal/dream?
and how does House of Thrune martial law over Kintargo endanger/stand in the way of/etc...

Marco Enrotheld |

Choices, choices...
Maybe a Bard(Negotiator) of the Church of Abadar, who, offended by the Thrune martial law, becomes a Swashbuckler (Masked Vigilante) by night...
Or!
A Bard (Dervish Dancer) aspiring diva who had just landed a prime role in the opera, when the thrune governor took the opera house over and suddenly she's waiting tables and really angry...
Or!
A formerly respectable wizard, he had fallen into obsessively seeking the pattern in the seemingly random bells in the cathedral of Asmodeus, so that his sanity corroded almost to the point of madness...
Too... many... choices...

Bastargrae Sweetgulp |

This guy is Teavana, the way Brits have a national tea time, and stiff Victorian era attitude about hobbies like going on expeditions and dying just to collect ferns kinda serious business.
The Sixth and Seventh Proclamation were the very last straw that spurred him into action.Coz he loves mint. And tea.
And he is a grown gnome and.nobody is going to tell him when he can brew and drink his damned tea!

Garborn Herwonkir |

Yes, both concepts are more or less done, just have to decide between them.
One is a down to earth pugilistic scrapper, more interested in a good fight than a cause.
Naturally, the proclamations are going to stir up trouble, and he wants to be in on the front seat, knuckle to knuckle.
The other is a suave, witty and charming card shark of noble upbringings, who combines a certain amount of self interest with a desire to punish the guilty/helping the helpless, but with style.
He is basically Sartana.

Hmm. Diva of the Battlefield?!

Bastargrae Sweetgulp |

trying to think up a way to tie Bastargrae and Gatherine together...Perhaps she stumbled upon him while sneaking around the port trying to find the right ship to stowaway upon prior to Smuggler's Shiv.He happily offered her a cuppa tea--she declined and he aggressively insisted by more or less jumping on her back and forcing it down her throat after she claimed she didn't want his street-swill. Which sparked a incensed Gatherine to chase the gnome and shoot at him throughout the street to cause a thunderous commotion that sent people fleeing for cover due to being unfamiliar with firearms and the fire and smoke along with property damage she caused during the chase, which attracted dottari. She managed to wing the gnome in the arse to make a point but not wound him severely, then shot out a nearby lantern to make a flare of fire rise up and slip away in the chaos to board a ship...The Jeneviere.
She departed from the port of Kintargo bound for Sargava without another thought to the pushy tea-peddler gnome.
Bastargrae, meanwhile, made a commotion by rolling around in the street with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. The dottari attempted to arrest him and blame him for the chain reaction of chaos his originally benign actions triggered and due to him being a known pest.
Bastagrae, ever the rapscallion, managed to somehow slip away and returned to tiny apartment/flat/tea shop situated near the docks, nursing a pellet-riddled rump and a new appreciation/apprehension for fat dwarven maidens with curious crossbows that spit sling bullets in a spray of fire and smoke.
not to mention newfound pride for evading capture from the dottari for the umpteenth time, especially when they had him in thier clutches while wounded.

Yeah, this one I think.

e-terah - Linking to Gatherine is not necessary.
It shouldn't be too hard to bring her in... assuming you will still be interested in switching when you hit 5th.
Asha - Glad you joined us. Great character and perfect addition.
Camris - I was almost hoping you'd go with the unhinged wizard... just to see how you'd turn him into a dex fighter. ;) Idril looks good.

Talomyr |

Hello all. Bloodgargler was kind enough to invite me to join you for this game.
Based on what I see for the current characters, you could use either a dedicated arcane caster (arcanist?) or some one of a more dedicated martial leaning (urban ranger?)
No pun intended, but I am somewhat intrigued by the Vigilante for this AP in particular.
Any thoughts/preferences?
Thanks.

Would anyone object to this character being a pacifist? I envision her as someone who can't bring herself to hurt other sentient beings, but understands that others will hold very different world views and also that sometimes necessity overrides all.
To explain that in more detail:
What she is willing to do/enjoys doing:
- Healing
- Peacefully defusing potentially violent situations (via Diplomacy/Bluff)
- Assisting others in combat situations where they are the defenders (through buffs, battlefield control, incapacitating their attackers)
- Incapacitating the defenders when her companions are the attackers
What she can reluctantly do:
- Deal non-lethal damage to opponents
- Deal lethal damage to non-sentient creatures
What she doesn't want to do/won't do:
- Deal lethal damage to sentient creatures
- Be directly responsible for the death of sentient creatures (through either action or inaction)
- Try to get the rest of the group to follow her methods (although she will advocate for non-violent solutions every now and then)

Talomyr here.
Character is about 90% done mechanically. Background and Personality are formulated, just have to get the information onto the "character sheet".
I imagine I will be done either tonight or relatively early tomorrow.

The base version of HeroLab only has the core classes. You would have to buy Herolab and buy the additional license that gives access to the Advanced Class Guide. I can build the character for you if you give me some details and then put the text on pastebin or something similar, as I have a HL license and almost all the non-core materials.

Bastargrae Sweetgulp |

Oh my gawd yes. I thought I was dumb or missed some of the instructions.
Okay. Bastargrae L. Sweet gulp, True Neutral Atheist gnome 3'6',43 lbs,52 years old. Investigator Lvl 1 Empirist. Language s learned are Gnome,Slyvan,Goblin,Draconic,Elven and Common. Stats are 8 Str,Dex 14,Con 14,Int 16,Wis 15,Cha 9. Swordcane,Sap,leather armor,gnome pindagger,Investigator kit.

Asha Ebele |

I think you can only get 1 feat, unless I'm missing something. You have 9 skill points for adventuring skills and 2 for background skills - where should they go? You also have 6 extracts for your formula book and can prepare 2 (assuming that your favoured class bonus is +1 formula). I cannot find the pindagger in the list of weapons, only "gnome pincher" (which is a flail-ish kinda thing).

Bastargrae Sweetgulp |

Ah.Weapon Finesses for feat then. Background skills will be Appraise and Lore(Tea).Favored class bonus is a must. Six extracts will be expeditious Retreat,Firebelly,Long Arm,Tears to Wine,Shock Shield, and Disguise Self.
My first prepared two would be Tears to Wine and Expeditious Retreat.
The investigator's class skills are Acrobatics, Appraise 1 rank, Bluff, Climb, Craft, Diplomacy, Disable Device 1 rank, Disguise, Escape Artist, Heal 1 rank, Intimidate, Knowledge(all) (Int), Linguistics,Perception 1 ranks, Perform (Cha), Profession (Merchant) 1 rank, Sense Motive 1 rank, Sleight of Hand 1 rank ,Spellcraft 1 rank, Stealth 1 rank, and Use Magic Device.
Empiricist is my archetype BC poison Lore seems a poor choice

Asha Ebele |

Here it is. Already formatted for BB code, so you can just copy and paste it in your profile.
I do not have the sourcebook for Tears to Wine, so I could not include that.
For skills, Profession (merchant) is a background skill, but I believe you can shift it so that you have 3 background skills and 8 adventuring skill points. In any case, you have 2 skill points unused.
You are also at Medium encumbrance (19.5 light, 39.75 medium, 60 heavy).

Bastargrae Sweetgulp |

Thank u from the top of my head. And the gnome pindagger is here
Coz a gnome pincher sounds suspiciously like the thing my dad uses to grab the TV remote off the dresser without getting outta bed...
