Tamis Thimble |

Tamis sneaks toward the room to the north. Cautious of her surroundings and the noise she is making.

bob thanks thank full for the fact he can stomach smell , even though he cant jump.
"My pride is hurt more then my back side"
yea was on my phone that day should have read my options better

Abroshqualmie |

Abrosh pats Bob on the head as he reaches the bottom and before he heads up to the top again
1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 CLW
A burst of flame shoots from his hand and washes over Bob, healing ghim.

DM Bigrin |

Tamis definitely saw more of the destruction as she moved closer to the northern exit of the hallway. The worked stone walls were blackened by fire, and the doors had definitely been knocked down and scorched - likely both were from a fireball of some sort. The smell continued to get worse as she moved along the halls, but she saw no traps or signs of movement.
The walls and floor near the busted doors looked strangely melted, as if dissolved by acid or some great heat. A half-dissolved sword lay on the ground as well.

Wesley Furfoot |

fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Wesley tries to identify a source of the magical destruction.
know arcane: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 33

Tamis Thimble |

Magic was at play here. Fire by the looks of it.
Knowledge(Arcana): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
She pauses a moment collecting her inner power Cast Resistance on herself. Followed by Detect Magic.
She then slowly creeps towards the entrance, being careful to not make a sound that may alert whatever could have caused this if it still resides in the next room.
Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

DM Bigrin |

1d6 ⇒ 6
1d100 ⇒ 51
1d3 ⇒ 1
1d20 ⇒ 5
Wesley definitely recognizes the effects of a mid-level fireball as the source of the blackening and trashed doors. The semi-melted walls appeared to be more the work of acid than fire.
As Tamis gets closer to the doorway, she can see a couple of human-sized skeletons lying on the ground. Both are completely devoid of flesh, one is headless, and both show signs of extreme corrosion. In the room beyond, everything appears shattered and smashed, with evidence of corrosion here as well as evidence of another fireball blast, this one bigger than the one in the hallway. One writing desk in the northeast corner of the room appears to have survived the destruction.
Movement at the back of the room draws Tamis attention, and she shoots a hand out to stop Wesley before he and his dog can move any closer. Hunched at the back wall, carefully peeking into a half open door stood a half-dozen more ghouls. One was carefully dismembering a rat about half the size of Wesley's dog, and handing the pieces to the others. As far as Tamis and Wesley can tell, the creatures are completely unaware of their presence.

Tamis Thimble |

Tamis looks back at wesley and the rest of the group. she puts up 6 fingers, points to the back of the room, and then makes a face emulating a zombie, hoping they grasp the fact their are undead in the room. Head quirked sideways, eyes partially shut, tongue hanging out.
She then proceeds to make a motion asking if anyone of the group can make an explosion of some sort. Think hands making a sphere and then expanding outwards.
Tamis slowly draws her bow from her back and sets an arrow in the string.
Ready Action - Shoot Bow at nearest ghoul - Condition - Any ghoul becomes Aware of our presence.

Wesley cast his spell and two of the ghouls went down hard. The third wobbled a bit, but kept its balance. The strains of Bob's hand harp rung out clear in the room, bolstering your courage and giving you the confidence to strike true. Abroshqualimie preps himself with some defensive spells as the dwarven sisters charge forward.
Those with readied actions can now roll them in the surprise round. In the future, post your rolls with your readied actions so we don't have to wait for the second round o posting. Attack P48 Ghoul. Move to S52.

Trihedron |

Where is ou frontliner? ;)
Surprise Round
Trihedron unleashes a single arrow at the closest ghoul.
Having moved forward, she stays put at V:51, targetting any one of the creatures that may seem bigger or more threatening - if there are none, she focuses fire with Tamis.
Longbow Attack: 1d20 + 10 + 2 - 2 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 10 + 2 - 2 - 2 + 1 = 29

Abroshqualmie |

Abrosh slightly panics and releases a burst of energy that strikes all foes
3d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 1) = 6 channel to harm undead

Abroshqualmie |

hmm, I made a post about getting closer last night that obviously did not post. I will completely change my action…
Surpise…If allowed
Abrosh moves forward to X-50,
RD 1
Delaying until the ghouls act

bob the bard |

moves to V-50 and gets ready to attack any that near.

DM Bigrin |

Please, if you ready an attack, go ahead and roll the attack roll so that we don't have to wait for you to make a second post before we move on.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
A barrage of arrows takes out half of the ghouls in one flight. One of them drove right through the skull of the larger of the ghouls, sending it crashing down instantly. Two of the ones in Wesley's grease spell managed to make it out of the effect, charging at Tamis as soon as their footing was solid once more. The third did not manage to stand or crawl, simply flailing about in the slick substance.
Everyone with held actions can act on them. Then everyone goes.

Tamis Thimble |

Round 2
Tamis drops her bow as she shes the ghouls charge her, drawing her greatsword from her back. She takes a swing at one of the ghouls.
Move action - draw weapon. Standard Action. Attack S51 ghoul
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 5) + 7 = 16

Trihedron |

Trihedron stands her ground as she notices that the ghouls have diverted towards her sister and Eva.
The bow is strung repeatedly, as arrow after arrow are relentlessly sent at the undead creatures.
Full Round Action - Flurry of Arrows. Targetting ghouls by order of distance, depending on which are up: S:51 -> R:51 -> O:51
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 10 + 2 - 2 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 10 + 2 - 2 - 2 + 1 = 26
Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 14

Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 15

Wesley Furfoot |

Abroshqualmie |

Abrosh moves forward to T (also moves diagonaly NW to get there, so he is just to side of the opening and able to strike all the ghouls.
He releases his inner flame twice covering all the ghouls.
[ooc] First roll was a 6 DC 17 for half)
second channel for round 2 3d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 3) = 13 DC 17 for half

bob the bard |

bob stops playing (still last for 2 more rounds)
ill move up to S-50 and take a swing at S-51 if he is down ill go at R-51 instead
attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 2 + 2 = 111d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 its 2 lower if not the one I'm flanking

DM Bigrin |

Wewsley can keep his Scorching Ray and Abroshqualmie can keep his second channel
The remaining ghouls drop quickly to a combination of blade and arrow. The sounds of battle echo briefly before fading, leaving only the heavy breathing of the survivors, and a slow drip, drip, drip of fluids leaking from the larger ghoul pinned to the rock wall by Trihedron's arrow.
Moving into the room, you can see more of the tiny tunnels exiting the chamber, and one large one - the one "hidden" by the open stone door. Looking closer, you can see that the stone door would likely fit very flush with the wall and make for an excellent secret door were it closed. You can also see arcing scratches on the floor beneath the door, as if the door had been forced open with something wedged underneath it.

Tamis Thimble |

"Hmm forced open secret door. Not ominous at all." Tamis comments aloud.
She slowly moves towards the pile of ghouls and the "open" door, looking for any valuables, traps, or dangers.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

DM Bigrin |

In the top drawer of the intact desk, Tamis finds six vials. Two are empty, one is full of clear liquid and topped with a wax seal, and three are full of an amber liquid, with cork caps. The ghouls themselves do not carry anything of use.
As you approach the partially open door, a wave of fetid stench rolls out, making you gag slightly.

Trihedron |

Paizo site just crashed and ate my post.
Tamis follows in behind her sister, wading amongst the pile of corpses, and trying to recover some of her ammunition - "This place is steeped in death and decay" - she comments.
Noticing the flasks, she adds - "Maybe those can be of use to us?" - she comments - "Can you identify them sister?"
In the meanwhile, the monk maintains a watch over the tunnel behind the once secret door, feeling the even deeper stench - "What could smell like that..?" - she wonders out loud.
Perception?: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 14 - 2 = 16

Tamis Thimble |

Tamis concentrates on the vials. Trying to discern if they have any magical properties.
Cast detect magic. Maintain for necessary rounds.

DM Bigrin |

Tamis doesn't see any magical auras from the vials, but the wax atop the one vial had the symbol of Iomedae impressed upon it.
Quickly the others examined the small tunnels, but like most that they had come across so far, these only went back a short ways before becoming far too small for any but a tiny creature to easily traverse.

bob the bard |

"Mind if I take a look Tamis?"
Religion: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12 on Iomedae
is there K skill i can use to know more I have all?

bob the bard |

alchemy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
did not see alchemy on list lol I'll pick it up next level i can make all checks untrained go bard powers. ^_^
bob lets the group know what he knows

Trihedron |

"Very well then, let us store those for when we have the opportunity to distribute them, if that is the case" - Trihedron pipes in - "Nowlet us keep moving, I want to find the source of all this foulness" - motioning for the tunnel ahead of them.

Trihedron |

What door? The secret one? It was already open.

Trihedron |

Trihedron keeps peering through the opening, waiting for their scouts to take point.
