DM Bigrin |

Bob identifies the yellowish liquid as embalming fluid, though what it would be doing in a drawer with Holy Water is a mystery.
Through the opened 'secret' door, you find a tunnel that leads north before opening to a room on the west. The stench grows stronger as you move along the passage, and in the room, you can see why. The far wall had three holes in the floor, regularly spaced apart and two were splattered with what could only be the remains of hundreds of years serving as a latrine. On the rightmost hole sat a toilet seat of white stone, uncorrupted by the filth marring its companion holes.

Tamis Thimble |

Well this is odd.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
Tamis creeps slowly into the room, looking for traps. she slowly moves towards the unmarred hole, curiosity getting the better of her..

Abroshqualmie |

Abrosh keeps his light rock carefully closed off and tries to contain his excitement as his partners move into the next room

Trihedron |

Trihedron is completely taken aback, not only by the smell, but also the very nature of the room itself - "This doesn't make sense..." - she whispers to those around her - "Is this... A bathroom..?
Her senses on alert as her sister scouts the first hole, she stands watch from the doorway.
Perception: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 14 - 2 = 14

DM Bigrin |

Wesley entered the room on his dog, moving left as Tamis moved closer to the pristine toilet. As she got closer, the smell coming from the latrines intensified, making her eyes water. She was maybe ten away when it happened. The toilet shifted, growing upwards from the hole it covered and changing its appearance. No longer a pristine ceramic toilet, it appeared as a giant bubbling mass of vile feces and gurgling fluids. The smell was so horrible that Tamis could feel her salivary glands flushing in preparation for a good round of vomiting.

Evangline Valeria Astrid |

Trihedron is completely taken aback, not only by the smell, but also the very nature of the room itself - "This doesn't make sense..." - she whispers to those around her - "Is this... A bathroom..?
Her senses on alert as her sister scouts the first hole, she stands watch from the doorway.
[dice=Perception]1d20+14-2
"You mean a possible multi-person supported washroom, I think the answer is yes"
As the thing comes out
"Oh, that is disgusting."

Trihedron |

"Tamis, look out!" - the warning came too late, as the mass was already bearing down on her sister - "What is it?!" - she inquires of her companions, her bow already singing furiously.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 10 - 2 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 10 - 2 - 2 + 1 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 4 + 1 = 11
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 10 - 2 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 10 - 2 - 2 + 1 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 4 + 1 = 12

Tamis Thimble |

Dear gods what is that thing?
Knowledge(arcana): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Knowledge(nature): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Knowledge(planes): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Knowledge(religion): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Tamis takes a 5ft step to her left, giving her sister and evangaline a clear line of sight. to H40
Tamis take a swing with her greatsword, praying that whatever this thing is that smell will go away once it's dead.
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (5, 1) + 7 = 13

DM Bigrin |

Because individual actions may affect how other wish to proceed, I'll try and update often
Trihedron's arrows sank into the disgusting mess without any apparent effect. Likewise, when Tamis slashed at it with her sword, the blade sank in almost without resistance, but when she tried to pull it out it seemed to be stuck.
Tamis needs to make me a DC 20 Ref save or the blade is stuck fast in the creature

Abroshqualmie |

Abrosh moves forward to F 42 and unleashes a gout of flames that strikes the poo demon
5d4 ⇒ (2, 1, 2, 4, 3) = 12 DC 16 for half

Trihedron |

Guys, we need a Knowledge roll for this thing, or we won't even know how to hurt it - it is a free action so...
DM Bigrin, what about Tamis' rolls - no details?

Trihedron |

Maybe it would be useful to know the traits of an ooze :D

Tamis Thimble |

Seeing there attacks wither away ineffectively Tamis yells out.
"I think backtracking and going south down that hallway might be a good idea, Hopefully this thing won't chase us. Let it sit here in its horrible horrible filth..."

Tamis Thimble |

"Then let it chases us over that pit we crossed before. Can't imagine this thing can jump very far..."

Tamis Thimble |

If I recall the sides of the pit were described as sheer and smooth with the pit 20 feet deep. I imagine climbing out it may be difficult for something with this bulk.

bob the bard |

"I'll try to clean up this mess"
Bob opens a bottle of embalming fluid as he goes and try's to hit it with it and ill move to G 42
Embalming fluid has a lot of sanitizing and disinfectant agents. Go bard Knowledge
attack(range? I hope): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
If this does not help we have Holy Water to try!

Wesley Furfoot |

Wesley quickly casts and the group finds themselves moving faster.
Wesley excludes himself, but affects all other PCs
The transmuted creatures move and act more quickly than normal. This extra speed has several effects.
When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with one natural or manufactured weapon. The attack is made using the creature's full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation. (This effect is not cumulative with similar effects, such as that provided by a speed weapon, nor does it actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round.)
A hasted creature gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. Any condition that makes you lose your Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) also makes you lose dodge bonuses.
All of the hasted creature's modes of movement (including land movement, burrow, climb, fly, and swim) increase by 30 feet, to a maximum of twice the subject's normal speed using that form of movement. This increase counts as an enhancement bonus, and it affects the creature's jumping distance as normal for increased speed. Multiple haste effects don't stack. Haste dispels and counters slow.
"Just use regular water and soap to combat filth."

DM Bigrin |

1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
The embalming fluid splashed against the creature with no effect. Wesley's spell added speed to everyone's movements, and the thoughts of retreat are heavy in your minds.
The creature continues to drag the rest of its bulk out of the hole in which it was hiding. A pseudopod of filth lashes out at Evangline, but she dodged the blow.

Tamis Thimble |

"It's not worth it Evangline, Nothing we have done seems to hurt this thing." Tamis replies.
Tamis takes a quick step back. G42 and then goes into a defensive stance. Total Defence. Add +4 to my AC
"Let's move, I'll cover us as best as I can." Tamis adds valiantly.
"Someone check if we can get that door back in place."

bob the bard |

holy water
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Last try with a charge I'll try to splash some on him

Abroshqualmie |

Not knowing what the beast is, Abrosh attempts an Alignment channel: Evil
3d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 1) = 8 DC 16 for half but almost positive this won't do anything

DM Bigrin |

Sorry, I fell off the face of the earth for a few days. Incoming!
Evangline tugged forecully on her sword as everyone else began to fall back. With an enormous effort, she managed to pry it free, stumbling backwards a bit when the sticky tendrils finally released their hold on the blade. The thing squelched forwards after her, but only managed to heave its bulk a dozen feet or slow. It might be indestructible, but it seemed to be rather slow.

Tamis Thimble |

Confident the rest of the group has retreated behind her and seeing Evangline take off Tamis takes off following the rest of the group.

Trihedron |

Trihedron retreats, as the group seems unable to overcome the monstrosity.

bob the bard |

BoB plays a good running tune well the group runs.
