The ringing of combat draws Zaphomil awake and instantly alert. Though his wounds still hurt, he was well-protected by his allies and he saw the grievous injuries the for just inflicted on Angelica. He rolls over to her urgently and converts his last powerful spell to heal her wounds.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica staggers from the two successive shots, the wounds and accompanying shock sending her mind and body reeling. She blinks away the stars from the flash of electricity and takes in the situation. As such, she decides to assess the flow of the fight before continuing. Everything seems to slow down as she watches Whiskers slip into the space across the enemy from her before he strikes. Movement beside her draws her attention to Zap moving to grab her ankle. At first she is relieved to see he's alright, but then the wave of healing washes over her, and suddenly she's revitalized for the fight. She renews her fervor and strikes with the help of Jakscar standing behind the enemy.
She's delaying until after the other Players, changing her init position to go after Harbug.

Shabbezz's magical missiles burned some of the gray skin from his chest, and even Fang got in on the action nipping at the man's exposed ankles. The man's white hair flashed in a cloud around his head and he turned to try and block some of the strikes coming in against him. He backpedaled, putting the column between himself and Harbug, his rapier flicking this way and that to ward off any more attacks.

DM Bigrin |

The grey-skinned man, surrounded and attacked from all sides, finally fell. The rapier clattered on the stones and, after a few moments, the electrical discharge on it went out. Blood still seeped from Angelica's wounds, but Zaphomil's slowly closed as Harbug's healing spell continued its work.
On the man's body, you find a few items of interest, namely the man's rapier, cloak, and a small wand. He also has a nice composite bow and a spellbook with accompanying items.

Once she's finished and relays her findings to the group, she will wait her turn to read the spellbook after Harbug is finished with it.

DM Bigrin |

Together Harbug and Shabbezz laid out the items and determined their magical properties. The cloak was a basic cloak of resistance, and the wand held eleven charges of detect secret doors. The rapier was the real find, though. To Shabbezz' mind, the rapier identified itself as a named weapon, Silverfang.
+1 undead bane mithral rapier. As long as Silverfang is carried, it gives its bearer +2 resistance bonus on all saving throws against negative energy and level drain, and whenever he makes a Fort save to recover from a negative level, he may roll the save twice and take the better result. Once per day, Silverfang can target an undead creature it just successfully critically hit with a halt undead effect (Will DC14 to negate) as a swift action.

Zaphomil Collander |

With the threat neutralised, Jakscar cleans his blades and sheathes them. Clapping his hand on Zaph's shoulder he exclaims. "I thought we might have lost you for a minute there, glad you are hanging around a little longer." With that he rummages in his pack to add another potion to his bandolier before redrawing his blades and taking up watch at the next exit.
The faithful of Desna grimaces while he feels his wounds knit together, but turns it into a smile. "It happened so fast, but thankfully I have some wonderful allies. Otherwise, I'd still be on the floor." He eyes the puddle of his own blood with a shudder, then draws his wand. "Hold still," he tells Angelica.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica looks curiously at the gnome, Zap, sweetie, you are much worse off than I am. Why don't you heal yourself first?" as she tries to get him to use those on himself before her.
As they sort through the pale man's belongings, Angelica eyes the weapons with interest, before she remembers something. "Hey, while you guys are eyeballing all that stuff, looking at the magic and all that, can you check out this dagger I mentioned, briefly, when we were finding the stuff for Maroux?"

Zaphomil Collander |

He winks at her. "I'll be fine. As long as nothing like this fellow jumps out at us again and use me to practice his butchery. I'd rather you tall folks who get in the thick of things to get most of the healing." Looking at the dagger, he calls up the ability to study magical auras. "I've learned a thing or two about reading enchantments since you last showed me that dagger. Let me take a look."
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

Shabbezz looks up and notices Zaph and Angelica conversing over the dagger.
"Oh, let me help you with that, Zaphomil."
Spellcraft (Aid Another): 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (10) + 22 = 32

Angelica Nenaviste |

So with a quick double raising of her eyebrows, Angelica claps and rubs her hands together, adding "So, who wants what? I mean, I got no problem throwing this magic dagger in the mix, but if no one wants either of them, I'm keen on the rapier, or bow.... or both even."

Harbug the Slasher |

"I've got no more use for them than the man on the floor does." Harbug responds dismissively. "If you think you can put them to good use in keeping us alive by making things dead, then do it."

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

"The wand may prove useful, but I'm more interested in having a crack at that spellbook," Shabbezz interjected. "The cloak I can take or leave, and I have little need for the rest."

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica looks to Jakscar, "Well, Whiskers, you may be the only one left that may want either of those weapons.... So, do you have a preference?" As she talks, she heads back over to the door on the other end of the room, prepared to continue where she left off in examining it.
Move back over to Z58, and inspect the area in front of and including the doors for traps.
Perception 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27 (+2 vs traps, and +4 vs stone like creatures)

Jakscar Steelclaw |

"Well those silver flecks make that cloak look rather dashing, but I have no use for the blade, fine though it is. As for the bow, I have one to match that so please feel free. Ready to move on when everyone else is."
Sorry been in and out of hospital since Friday with my wife, nothing bad just a couple of late pregnancy worries.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica whips a look over her shoulder at the last comment, "Seriously? That is outstanding. Here," She tosses the newly identified magical dagger into the pile, "I won't likely use this anytime soon. I hope someone else can at least get some use out of it." As she collects up the new rapier, she unceremoniously draws and just drops her current one. Picking up the bow, she realizes that she doesn't have any arrows to go with it, and looks for some on the body before grabbing the dead man's quiver full.
Sans any disagreement, she will take the new Rapier and Bow.
She leaves the Dagger +1 there.

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

Shabezz gives the wand an experimental wave with one hand, them slides it into her belt.
"Well, unless you'd all like to rest for a few hours and allow us arcane scholars to pore over that spellbook, are we good to get moving once again?"

DM Bigrin |

As everyone passed around the items and loot, Angelica took what suited her best and went back to examining the eastern door. It was like the others, with the central panel triggering the unlocking and opening of the door. She noticed that the hinges were on her side, letting the doors swing into the room. She thought that might be useful information, if they were to stay here.

Zaphomil Collander |

Zaphomil considers his wounds and his remaining allotment of magic. "I think I have enough to keep us going through another fight or two, assuming no one sneaks up behind me again. Hopefully these heavy doors behind us will prevent that. It's been a harrowing morning so far, but it seems odd to stop already. In any event, we can hopefully fall back to this area in case it's necessary."
I think I can manage. Let's move on.

Harbug the Slasher |

"Sounds good. Angelica can you get that door open?"
We've also got at least _some_ healing left in Harbug's healing hex; thus far today it's only been used on himself.

Jakscar Steelclaw |

Sweeping the cloak up to his shoulders and taking a few steps to check it looked as dashing as he thought, Jakscar then redraws his blades. "Right, well now I look more fantastic, let's get going. I'm fine for a while longer if you all are.". With a spin Jakscar moves into the position of danger when the door opens.

DM Bigrin |

The door was easy enough to open, now that Angelica had a good idea of the panels to push to disengage the locks. She wondered again if the other panels did something in the past, as there didn't seem to be any negative effects to pushing on the wrong ones.
The door opened to reveal a row of marbled pillars, each carved to resemble a beautiful woman, supporting the ceiling of the hallway beyond. The pillar closest to the door seemed to be missing its head.

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

From her position near the rear of the group, Shabbezz couldn't see much, but she could make out some of the carved pillars past the door.
"Ugh, I hope this isn't like the last time with those construct columns," she said with dread in her voice.

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica eyes the statues warily, the concern on her face masks Shabbezz's words. With a small shiver of regret, she keeps her eyes focused ahead for any dangers along the hall. With her new rapier in hand, she creeps into the room, skulking up to the first pillar, before continuing on to the corner to peer around it.
If she doesn't see anything, she moves to AA62, then on to AA65
Stealth 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30 (Can move at full speed w/o penalty)
Perception 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30 (+2 vs traps, and +4 vs stone like creatures)

DM Bigrin |

Angelica sees two things about the columns almost immediately. First, though they had a different appearance than the columns that attacked in the hallways above, they still looked lithe enough to possibly move about. Secondly, the missing head from the nearest column seemed to have been detached cleanly, with no signs of breaks or scarring where it might have been smashed or pried off.
Stopping you at AA62, since you indicated you wanted to examine the columns

Angelica Nenaviste |

Angelica peers dubiously at the statue with the missing head. She then scans up about the ceiling for some sort of weapon or effect that could shear the head off a statue, or even worse, one of the group. She decides to get a better view, of both the cut itself, and the angle of incidence. Sheathing her new rapier, she stretches and limbers briefly before doing her best to ascend the headless statue.
Climb 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15, assuming it has plenty of handholds.
Once she arrives just below head level, she checks for anything that could hit her once head pops up over the edge, and if she finds nothing, raises herself up to examine the surface and anything else at this elevation that she may have missed from ground level. If the only threat is just low enough to take the heads off the statue columns, and that's all, they may just be safe enough going through this hallway.... unless it slopes upward, or raises suddenly.
Perception 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31 (+2 vs traps, and +4 vs stone like creatures)

Zaphomil Collander |

Zaphomil scowls at the statues, knowing that their luck with them had been pretty poor up to now. He shakes his head, then dashes forward to the corner of the hallway, then throw his back against the wall, ready to throw a spell or channel up if necessary.
Move to Z-66.

Jakscar Steelclaw |

Staying put as Angelica scouts ahead, Jakscar quickly moves up to give her a boost as he realises her intention to climb. Remaining at the bottom of the headless statue, he sees Zaph move forward and places himself between the two, ready to aid where needed.

Shabbezz Whorlpad |

When you're fragile and knowingly walking into danger, it pays to remain in reach of the healer. Shabbezz follows close to Zaphomil as they enter the hallway.
Move to Z-65.

As Angelica and Jakscar inspected the first column, Zaphomil dashed forward to see around the corner. What he saw made him give a little squeak and press up against the wall. There were three more columns, and all were headless. The fact that three stone heads were crawling across the floor towards him like a stone spider with an abnormally large body. Appendages with claws reached out from beneath the head and clicked menacingly. The heads came around the corner, pressing up against the group.

Angelica calls out her irritations, "Damnit, little ones! What's the point in me scouting if you're just going run on ahead?" Huffing in frustration, she drops down the short distance from her climb, draws her recently stowed new weapon, and stabs at the weird crawling head in front of her. She drives forward with the point of the mithril rapier, stabbing for one of the eyes, hoping that it's just as delicate as most are.
