Rhuul Irontoe |
I'm going to hold off posting in the hope that my crappy initiative allows others to make some space for Rhuul to get into.
I can unfurl the flag for extra bonus, but that is going to potentially cause other problems for us later on.
Of course, being dead is an even worse problem.
Rhuul Irontoe |
As a matter of interest, have others received their gameday boons in the mail?
I've heard of some who have, but I've not had the one for Rhuul.
DM Beckett |
Some have not been reported. When I reported the game, I actually (for this) need to put everyone's email onto a spreadsheet. From there, the VC running this then take that info and actually enter it under the Game Day Event on Paizo, so I have no control as to when that actually happens.
Which game did you win the Boon in? I can go check if it's been reported. Also, please recheck your email, specifically your spam folder. For some reason, a lot of people received them as spam last time.
Rhuul Irontoe |
I got the boon in this game (first half!)
I looked at my spam folders, but didn't see it there.
DM Beckett |
It doesn't look like it has been reported yet. Maldoc's was probably from City Of Strangers, which I ran before this, and has been reported.
Umaro |
I received my boon for running a game, but I didn't earn one through the rolls so I don't know about those.
DM Beckett |
Which Boon?
It should also be noted that they are going to do an extra raffle for everyone once everything is reported.
-Posted with Wayfinder
DM Beckett |
Ok. Yah, that is one only GM's get. The others are sent out as the games are reported (on their end) as far as I know.
Umaro |
Yup, never got lucky enough in any of my games to get one of the other boons. Came really close a few times. Rolled a couple of 2's and 18, 19s
DM Beckett |
I'm just curious, the game has been reported, so did Rhuul receive the Boon?
Sarephta Nigh |
I just noticed that part 1 of this adventure was reported for a different one of my characters. I'm not sure what happened there...I may have provided the wrong number, or maybe a typo.
Anyway, not sure if it can be corrected at this point, but for this adventure, the number for this character is PFS# 132,076-4.
Thanks!
Rhuul Irontoe |
Yeap, I just got the mail though, I'd messed up my email, but they got me through this site.
I also realised I only have a mini version of the revised chronicle sheet you did for me.
I'm not sure if they are still available?
DM Beckett |
Yep, I keep them on Google Drive indef. Go back to page 3, 16th pot down for the link.
DM Beckett |
I'm trying to look into it.
Can you tell me specifics:
What scenario was it reported under incorrectly?
What number was reported?
Is 132,076-4 the correct number it should be?
-
When I originally reported, I had comma's in, and it messed up their program (for all my games), so I had to resubmit them, but it looks like I put the right number down. Unfortunately, because I could not report it directly, I can not access any of the info. But I'll still get it fixed, :)
Sarephta Nigh |
I checked her individual sessions, and it shows none reported.
The scenario was:
Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-23: Shadow's Last Stand—Part I: At Shadow's Door (PFRPG)
Session was 131
It reported under my #2 character rather than #4.
The number you posted above is the correct one.
Thanks so much!
DM Beckett |
Ok, i think its been fixed. Let me know.
Sarephta Nigh |
That looks like it fixed it, except that it changed my faction somehow from Silver Crusade to Sczarni (the other character that it had assigned before was Sczarni).
That's really bizarre...any thoughts?
DM Beckett |
When you report a game, (if the character is registered, it auto-inputs the name and faction. You have the character assigned as Szcarni right now (the little key next to your picture). If you change that, it should change for you.
To do that, you need to go to your "My Account", scroll down about half way and hit "Make Changes" under the PFS section.
Scroll down to the correct character and it "Edit".
DM Beckett |
I'll be updating soon to get this back going. A bit jet lagged still, and just mostly finished another game up (freeing up some time).
Sarephta Nigh |
Okay, let me explain what's happened in more detail:
1. I have two characters in your scenarios (Sareptha here and Saarai in another just finishing). I also ran Sareptha in another scenario you ran. Thanks, btw!
2. Sareptha was Silver Crusade, Saarai was Sczarni.
3. Somehow when the first scenario Sareptha ran was reported, it credited Saarai.
4. Somehow, BOTH of their factions changed without my input (my LG cleric Sarephta became Szcarni, and Saarai changed from Sczarni to Grand Lodge).
5. I've since changed their factions to what they were initially.
6. However, the sessions show credit for the wrong factions on both of these characters. These are the two with errors:
Session 131 Beckett #2-23: Shadow's Last Stand—Part I: At Shadow's Door (PFRPG) 132076 -4 Sarephta Nigh Sczarni [THIS SHOULD BE SILVER CRUSADE] 2 PP
Session 24 DM Beckett #5–22: Scars of the Third Crusade (PFRPG) 132076 -2 Saarai Shae Grand Lodge [THIS SHOULD BE SCZARNI] 2 PP
I'm not sure if these can be sent out again to correct it. If this is all too big a hassle, don't worry about it and I'll deal with it.
Thanks again for running such great adventures!
Rhuul Irontoe |
Hmm, I just noticed something similar for me. (not as drastic though)
The credit for #2-23: Shadow's Last Stand—Part I: At Shadow's Door (PFRPG) went to 100387-2 (an elven wizard of mine) not to 100387-5. The faction should also show as silver crusade not grand lodge.
I'm not sure how important the online reported version is vs the chronicles, but it would be nice to get that fixed up if possible.
The chronicle looks okay.
DM Beckett |
Ok, can I have everyone check both their Chronicle Sheets and their online reporting for that game and tell me if they had a problem also? I'd rather try to get them all fixed together.
DM Beckett |
I mean is it the correct character number, faction, and everything. How about the Chronicle Sheet?
DM Beckett |
I also just noticed that somehow this character switched to Grand Lodge (should be Silver Crusade). In one of the gams I am running, a few characters noted the same thing, they just sort of randomly changed Factions online). Everyone might want to take a look through all of their characters to make sure everything is right. I found that 2 of mine had been switched from Silver Crusade to the grand Stupid Lodge.
DM Beckett |
Here is the original info that I used to copy/paste into the reporting doc for the game. I'm not sure how that go mixed up. It may have been my fault, or it might have been an error when it was translated over to the paizo site. I'm not sure.

Looks like an error on Paizo's end, at least as far as mine is concerned. #5 looks accurate in how it SHOULD have been reported, but ended up reporting the wrong character/faction, then SWITCHING two of my characters' faction, as well.
Rhuul Irontoe |
That looks right for me. I gave the wrong email initially though, the bit before the @ should be "viggers_b"
Sarephta Nigh |
Looks like the faction sorted out for Sarephta. She's back to Silver Crusade and has faction points documented in the Sessions tab.
Mine was a two-part problem, since when Sarephta was initially reported, it messed up Saarai in the other scenario you ran.

Thanks so much for doing this! I know the rewards are hardly worth the effort, but I sure enjoy your scenarios and appreciate the work you are doing!
DM Beckett |
No worries. Ill fix it soon. I wasnt sure if you needed a new chronicle sheet, too?
Rhuul Irontoe |
Is that the kind of thing you are after?
I'm not sure how we tie the theatre into this. We did good there, and again have evidence of a tie to the spider, but not who the spider is.
I'd hate to see the tables turned and have them accuse the PF society of being this spider.
Umaro |
We can tie the theater in due to that was were the slaves were coming from.
But yeah I find it a little strange that they want you to go find this information out about the councilwoman and the spider, but give you nothing to put two and two together. Unless this leads into another adventure down the road.
DM Beckett |
Can I get everyone to post new Day Job Rolls, as well as a reminder if anyone was going to of has already purchased anything that needs to be on this Chronicle Sheet.
Umaro |
No day job for Umaro, but I do need you to write down a purchase. Spending 2 pp to pick up a Dragonhide (Green) Breastplate.

DM Beckett |
For now, everyone can make the save. Umaro goes before her, so based on if and where he moves, she will target a certain area, trying to catch as many people as possible. If that targets you (everyone), I'll just use the Save. If not, than you don't need to worry about it. :) It's, however, not going to be based on who rolls well, just the position she can catch the most people.
DM Beckett |
HERE are the Chronicle Sheets. Please let me know if there are any issues.
Umaro |
Thanks for the game Beckett. Now hopefully I can get Umaro into a game at Gencon this weekend.
