Male Humanly Awesome 'n Totally Rockin' Paladin of Greatness

I'm actually in a Jade Regent. And yes, it is NPC driven. Considering that several campaign traits are to the effect of pc's having a crush on specific NPC's.

At this point in time, fellas, I think I'm gonna have to depart. The main reason for my lack of posting is due to burnout. I'm not the most intelligent dude, so, posting for me takes a great deal of effort. I'm not gonna bail on the games I'm still in, but I figure it might be best to not start any new ones at this time. I've had a great time with you all and I'll still be rolling along in the other threads with you fellas.

I apologize for any inconvienence and I really hate to bail on you fellas because it's been a fun ride. I'm just too dang tired at this point. Maybe down the road I can get my energy back up and be ready to take on something new. Just right now, I got nothing.

Will see you fellas in the other threads.

Well, except for AlanM. Enjoyed running with you, buddy!

Side note to DM Aron: I meant to mention this early on but I never got around to it. DM Aron, dude! The Kendra twist had my jaw on the floor. I NEVER saw that coming. You talk about throwing someone for a loop. I had Morbury all figured out and ready to go; you know it was gonna be smooth sailing, and then you go and throw that nasty curveball at me and all I can think is; "What?!?! How am I suppose to roll with this!! I never planned for this!!!" All I could do was laugh at myself, figuring that's how Morbury would respond too. In absolute shock. So that's how I rolled with it. Man that was fantastic! I applaud you, dude. Very well played, my friend! Very well played. :)

And having said that; you run Npc's really well. I think you would do well in Jade. Not sure how you feel about running several Npc's over the course of an AP, but I personally, think you'd do just fine.

I'm fine continuing this AP, or switching to another. I haven't played (and am not currently playing in) Second Darkness, Serpent's Skull, Jade Regent and Council of Thieves. Unfortunately, no Skull and Shackles until February...

Got the first two Jade Regent and it seems like I'd have difficult with it. Not sure if I havn't read it properly but it seems like I'd have to control 4 NPCs, though I think I'm wrong. The monsters they have in it are interesting however.

Council of Thieves I havn't yet looked through yet but I do know that it was when they were just making the AP for pathfinder system and there are meant to be many bugs and errors, but that's no issue as I have herolab.

Haven't read Jade regent, but would it be possible for the players to run the NPC's except when you needed to take over...or recruit some trusted gamers on these boards to run the NPC's?

As I've said, not read it but I could be wrong. The NPCs are intregral as they are the reasons for various traits and your characters can work towards having a relationship with them. Being the DM I'm told what the turn ons and turn offs are and one turn off I don't think many players would use which is "Compliments about Goblins" and to answer your question, no unfortunatly I do not have the others just only every paizo one (except part 5 and 6 of Council of Thieves.) and Legacy of Fire looks good, the problem is that the player's guide is part of the guide to Katapesh which you have to buy and I'd rarther not alienate those that don't have it.

The first AP, Rise of the Runelords is a interesting one. One person online expressed it as a "Good old-fashioned dungeon crawling adventure" but the player's guides are free if you guys wish to research them.

Not sure exactly sure what twist that is, but thanks. I did try hard in wondering where her mind was after seeing her father come back from the dead and try to kill her. It's one of the random occurence and having a flare for the dramatic I decide to have him appear just as she seems to be getting over her father's death and feeling much better and then, she get's hit with a visit from her undead father.

So, are we going to official call this one done?

Yeah I think that's the general concensus, but I would like to see what AP you guys would like to play to start up.

Male Daytona 500 DM / 12

I am currently playing in Curse of the Crimson Throne, Kingmaker, and getting ready to start Jade Empire. I have played in real life Rise of the Runelords, and Second Darkness, though I didn't start Rise of the RL till the third book. Would like to play Legacy of Fire if given a choice.
