Things for Sashah to do other than healing! Yay!
History: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Sashah eagerly looks over the blade and the marking on it. "Zis is interesting!" he says enthusiastically as he almost throws his pack from his shoulder onto the floor of the cavern. He begins rustling through and pulls out a familiar book, opening it to a particular page with what seems like practiced efficiency. 'Zis vill take minutes.." Sashah says absently as he also pulls out a pearl and begins setting up what looks like a ritual.
As he sets up the ritual Sashah begins recounting a tale..
It said zat Khundrukar vas built by Durgeddin. And zat ven dwarves finally settled in ze caves, zeir numbers had dwindled to less zan thirty, vith only dozen or so fighting men.
Decades later, Khundrukar fell to orc horde. In his day, Durgeddin vas videly believed to have been stockpiling magic veapons, and zus his home today remains popular, zough, valmost all seekers of such treasures are never seen again. Today, Khundrukar is but distant memory to dwarves of old Delzoun, veritable ghost story. It said, every century or so band of adventurers sets out from Citadel Adbar, hoping to reclaim Durgeddin's treasures, dying in Khundrukar's haunted halls.
In 1374 DR, Silver Company and twenty dwarves from Citadel Adbar breached fortress and overtook monstrous inhabitants. Accordancing to law of Delzoun, Khundrukar now belongs to Silver Company for 200 years, ven it reverts to control of Citadel Adbar and vichever clan King Harbromm elects to gift it."
Casts Identify as ritual
Ravvek the Avenger
Very interesting... I wonder if this is a Durgeddin tomb?
Sashah
Sashah pauses briefly to think, "Judging by intricacies of tunnels and sarcophagi already found, I vould say it quite possible ve are near or in Glitterhame. Zis interesting indeed.."
Myastan Zayless
Zayless studies Sashah's movements and makes notes of his own strangly he sometimes speaks to know one about the ritual and its practice.
He looks impressed with the history lesson when the time comes.
Raiden Bartok
I love the ways Uriah writes out bardic knowledge, cracks me up.
Wow, all of that is in your book? That's amazing, this is quite the relic indeed. Glitterhame, huh?
History: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14 Just to see what Raiden knows about Glitterhame already.
Ravvek the Avenger
Sashah, what should we know about the Glitterhame? Is there anything that could give us an edge on the denizens of this place?
Uriah Lewis
There were some Dwarves here. And then they fought some orcs, and then they died. Now there's no more Dwarves here. Uriah shrugs Pretty simple really. Dwarven epics are SOOOOOO boring.
Uriah perks up But now I've got a new line to write.... Sashah the learned, spread his knowledge around, but don't let him fool you, he'll drink you to the ground.
Uriah looks unconvinced that this line will stick in his newest bar song.
Scramsax
Did the mold covered skeleton appear dwarven or tall-folk?
Sashah
Sashah gives a hearty laugh at Uriah's newest line. After a moment or two, he calms and turns to Ravvek, "Glitterhame vas mostly secret location. Little knowledge has escaped from. If vant more information, ve likely to find it here. My books are most records of oral histroy vith some academic verification of dates. My apologies."
He nods after his own words and begins carefully searching the walls for signs of passage or written anything.
Ravvek the Avenger
Ravvek looks thoughtful for a moment, Does anyone know if any of the Durgeddin clan yet live? Perhaps if we can clear this place out, they would like to reclaim their home.
He looks at Scram, then says with a grin, Perhaps they'd even reward us!
Myastan Zayless
Zayless nods at Uriah's assessment, "Familiar tale. But this tale is ours."
Greycastle
@Scram both skeletons were dwarves.
So moving back into the large cavern with a multitude of fungi, the party moves east to the rock slide that lead up to the next exit from the cavern.
Ill need some Athletics checks to get up the rock slide please.
Scramsax
He pinches his mustache in his fingers "A secret stash of magical treasure you say? ...yes, lets be sure to 'clear' it before we call these Silver ancestors. Ally ooop!!"
Athletics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
He parkours up the rockslide like a black iron ball fired from a cannon.
Sashah
Sashah's excitement and enthusiasm is severely diminished at the sight of the rockslide.

Strength (Athletics): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Anton is so focused on baking sure Rav is alright, that he does realize that the root he is reaching for is actually a snake. In shock, he lurches back and tumbles down the rubble, landing on his butt.
Anton takes 10 points of pride damage.
Uriah Lewis
Bards aren't always athletic: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2
Uriah isn't gonna make it up the rockslide.
Scramsax
Scram facepalms at the top of the rockslide "Uh...here guys, grab onto this..." and tosses down a rope, the other end on a grappling hook he anchors on a nearby stalagmite.
Ravvek the Avenger
Looking a little embarrassed, Rav grabs the end of the rope and anchors it so that everyone else can use it to climb up.
Greycastle

Scramsax tosses a rope down for Anton and Uriah. As the both reach for the rope the stones seem to come to life in front of them. Large stone shaped, tentacles open up revealing a beak of sorts. The tentacles lash out and a snake like creature strikes out from the stones with its beak.

Once letting the rope down Scramsax looks to the others for a little help securing the rope. Raiden stepping up is quite surprised when much like down below, the rocks come to life. Raiden and Scramsax are both struck by a second creature that springs from the rock slide.
Initiative everyone.

"Son of a b%**!! Am I seeing double?" Scram seems to hesitate slightly at the stony combatants.
Raiden Bartok
Raiden looks very surprised and very injured. He slumps to his knees and keels over. Way back on page 15 from the orc encounter this game's morning, he took 8 points of damage and never healed. 12 HP - 13 slashing damage is....KO.

Sliding back down the rock slide to help Ravvek and Uriah, Scramsax crashes the acid vial over the beaked creature’s head. As the corrosive dribbles down into the creatures mouth, the soft tissue under the tentacles dissolved and the beast collapses unmoving.
Raiden’s eyes open and Sashah’s face comes into view.
Raiden may act this turn.

Does that mean that I can use my hit on the second one?
your man-sized hit knocked it down enough that the acid finished it. I apologize for not narrating it as I should have.
Ravvek the Avenger
Okay, you had mentioned that you would be putting my and Anton's actions after everyone else. So I was a little confused. ^_^
Greycastle
lol you’re right and I had forgotten that. It was late heh. Same effect, it was actuallly Ravvek who finishes the creature though.
Since he was healed, Raiden may act and I think we are now just waiting Raiden and Anton.
Ravvek the Avenger
No worries, I am fine giving Scram the kill, I was just confused... @.@

Good, because the souls of Scram's felled enemies power his mustache.
Raiden Bartok
Raiden thanks Sashah and shakes life back into his head. He pops up. If the other creepy nasty is near enough he will strike. If not my next turn I will move up and use this strike. Typing this on a phone is painful, gah! Raiden grips his sword and slashes out attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 162d6 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3) + 3 = 8

Ravvek lets out a breath, Good job everyone. This place stinks. Let's search this quickly and head out.
Sashah
Sasha takes the next few minutes, while the group is searching to catalog these new beasts he hadn't seen before.
