When you gain certain warlock levels, you gain additional invocations of your choice, as shown in the Invocations Known column of the Warlock table. Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the invocations you know and replace it with another invocation that you could learn at that level. *Eldritch Sight- You can cast detect magic at will, without expending a spell slot. *Devil's Sight- You can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 120 feet. *Book of Ancient Secrets Prerequisite: Pact of the Tome feature you can now inscribe magical rituals in your Book of Shadows. Choose two 1st-leveI spells that have the ritual tag from any c1ass's spell list. The spells appear in the book and don't count against the number of spells you know. With your Book of Shadows in hand, you can cast the chosen spells as rituals. Vou can't cast the spells except as rituals, unless you've learned them by some other means. Vou can also cast a warlock spell you know as a ritual if it has the ritual tag. On your adventures, you can add other ritual spells to your Book of Shadows. When you find such a spell, you can add it to the book if the spell's levei is equal to or less than half your warlock leveI (rounded up) and if you can spare the time to transcribe the spell. Zayless comes off as playful or crazy. Whether he is putting on an act or a little off his rocker is whispered behind his back. He is driven to do good but his methods are at times by bending the rules which his Ki-Rin Patron disagrees. History:
Born to the clan Myastan. Meant being driven to excel. Their warriors are fierce, their faith rigid and the expectations high. Zayless was never as strong as his brother, Drayless, but he still through heart and determination tried his best to follow in his brother's footsteps. To bring honor to his family and strength to his clan. His brother aspired to be a paladin. He followed the codes and strict rules. Zayless chaffed against those codes. He could not keep up with his brother. At first it was just a weight on the soul. Zayless cut corners, sought the right ends but by less than honorable means. He regrets his hypocrisy. He remained by his brother's side and the 2 set out together. He fought along side his paladin brother but he could not hold the same line. His brother died. Zayless swore vengeance he studied his target and tried to learn all he can. But his quarry alludes him. Ashamed he refuses to go home. In his pain he called out for someone to help. A powerful celestial creature heard him. A Ki-rin the creature like his brother and the honorable codes that Zayless feels he falls so short of (and he feels get in the way) hold him to a high standard. Zayless like others of his clan is driven but he is driven to reach his goal not driven in how to achieve it. In the hunt for his brother's killer he took work hunting other criminals wanted for various crimes who had bounties on their head. Equipment:
