Zombies go, Ones that can't reach anyone move out of the spike growth first. going around the houses one zombie moves 15 feet to get out and continues moving around the house, another moves 5 feet to get out
dmg: 6d4 ⇒ (1, 2, 1, 3, 3, 1) = 11 for the one
dmg: 2d4 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4 for the other.
Then they attack, each one near fang gets one claw and one bite and each arm near him gets claw attacks at disadvantage.
claw: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (19) = 22
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (14) = 17
claw: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (11) = 14
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (8) = 11
claw arm: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (11) = 14
claw arm disadvantage: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (17) = 20
claw arm: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (15) = 18
claw arm disadvantage: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (15) = 18
Two zombies are going around everything, one reaches melee double moving, the other goes around the house towards the heroes, the one that took 11 damage that is.
another zombie reaches Rag in a single move and attacks, he gets two claws since he has both arms.
claw: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (1) = 4
claw: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (8) = 11
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (10) = 13
Fang is clawed once for dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Fang has 13 dmg on him.
Then Agotaras and Talasazzar stab and slash a ghoul for 13 total dmg.
Orsik is up
Agotaras Springsmith |
Sorry about that I miss read.
Orsik Ungart |
Orsik strikes the zombie near him with his hammer, continuing his concentration on the blessings.

Fhern |
"Damn, the zombies are smarter than our orc. I didn't think this through."
DoubleGold |

Disadvantage: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
If it dies she moves 10' away from the zombies.. Regardless she gives Rag Inspiration as a bonus action.. Extra 1d6 to a d20 roll..
Fhern |
On either the ghoul near us if Cherry didn't kill it, or the other one if she did, I'll hit it with produce flame.
ProduceFlame: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
FireDamage: 1d8 ⇒ 1
Nevermind, that was dreadful.
*Fang Deathstealer |
Fang will swing his weapon, then swing again.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Damage Roll: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Action Surge: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage Roll: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Ragnaganon Thundermountain |
I am raging so I can't
Ragna seeing the group massed against him frothes harder. He swings harder at the skeleton being true to his self as he faces things heads on.
To hit Skeleton 1d20 + 5 + 1d4 ⇒ (6) + 5 + (4) = 15
dmg 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
DoubleGold |
Zombie that Fang hit tries to bite and the arm attacks once, an the other zombie next to him gets one bite and one arm attack. Rag has one zombie on him with all attacks and one arm attacking him.
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (5) = 8
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (14) = 17 on fang
claw: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (6) = 10 on fang

claw 2: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (11) = 15
Ragnanon you took dmg: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (3, 3) + 1 = 7 from that crit claw. and another dmg: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 from the other hit.
round 3 start
The religion check shows that although these zombies are usually dumb, they are Strahd zombies, and sometimes in certain but not all locations and some of the time Strahd can see through act through their eyes.
Cherry Poppins |
Cherry moves 10' to her left and fires at the other ghoul..
Blast: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Force Dam: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Crit Dam: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Rag was that, "I can't do that" directed at me? I see nothing that disallows you to use bardic inspiration while raging..
Talsazzar |
Talsazzar growls something in Draconic as his lunges at the ghoul with his dagger. His weapon ignites with green flames as he does so.
Using Green Flame Blade
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Crit! IIRC, crits only multiply damage dice, not the added damage at the end?
Dagger Damage: 2d4 + 3 ⇒ (1, 3) + 3 = 7
The dagger strikes home, and the flames burst out, striking the zombie next to him with arcane power! He takes 3 fire damage, unless that got doubled on the crit too.
Fhern |
Fhern backs up next to Cherry and takes a shot at the zombie on Fang's left.
ProduceFlame: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
FireDamage: 1d8 ⇒ 7
DoubleGold |
Talsazzar damages the ghoulds chest, but it lives.
Fhern and Cherry's actions will be held, since they are after skeletons and ghouls but before zombies in init. Fye, Cherry, that would finish off the ghoul, too bad you ain't before it, cause that mean you'd kill it before it got an attack off.
Orsik Ungart |
Orsik again strikes the zombie with his warhammer.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 Oh, come on.
1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Concentrating on: Bless (8/10 rounds, Targets: Ragnaganon, Agotaras, Fang, Effect: Add d4 to your attack rolls and saving throws)
HP notes: Cherry - 13/21, Tal - 12/23, Fang - 15/28, Rag - 23/35, others - full
Agotaras Springsmith |
Not sure if I am up but I have a moment to post so...
Agotaras again slashes at the ghoul, less worried about the skeletons.
"Why won't you fall you blasted pile of rotting flesh. Eat my blade beast."
Longsword: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Ragnaganon Thundermountain |
Cherry I was talking about the skill checks. My rage does not allow that I believe.
// dmg noted
[/occ]
Ragna shrugs off the injury and strikes the nearest enemy in the head.
[ooc]
to hit 1d20 + 5 + 1d4 ⇒ (5) + 5 + (4) = 14
dmg 1d12 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Cherry Poppins |
Thats fine, so you have an extra 1d6 that you can add to any d20 roll for the next 10 mins.. This includes attack rolls and saves btw..
DoubleGold |
Orsik can't hit his target while Agotaras slashes across the ghouls forehead killing it.
Skeletons go hit: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (10) = 10 hit: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (2) = 2 both at agotaras
and hit: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (11) = 11 at Fang
Then Rag and Fhern get some good hits on the same zombie
Cherry has not ghouls left to shoot, so she blasts a skeleton killing it
Fang is up
DoubleGold |
Fang hits the zombies arm and it flinches for a second, you also notice the zombie itself takes damage when you do that as blood comes out its body.
The arm will attack fang with disadvantage hit: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (19) = 23 disadvantage: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (8) = 12
and the zombie tries to bite bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (6) = 9
the other zombie near him will bite and claw once hit: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (15) = 19
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (15) = 18
Two zombies will make full attacks on Rag
hit: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (16) = 20

bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (4) = 7
hit: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (19) = 23
second claw: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (16) = 20
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (10) = 13
and the rogue arm will attack hit: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (7) = 11 disadvantage: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (9) = 13

hit: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (19) = 23 claw on Tal
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (10) = 13 bite on Tal
Rag took dmg: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 3, 1) + 3 = 11
Tal took dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 and a con save of 10 or be paralyzed for 1 minute.
Round 3, start
Agotaras Springsmith |
Agotaras steps further into the pile of enemies now that the ghoul is dead. As he moves he switches to his light hammer and swings at the skeleton (didn't know hot to say which one so gave it a red outline.)
Light Hammer To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Cherry Poppins |
Cherry throws a blast at the zombie on Tal..
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
Force Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Fhern |
Clearing baddies off the casters seems like a solid plan, so Fhern will try to attack the one on Tal.
ProduceFlame: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
FireDamage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
DoubleGold |
Fhern clears out a zombie as his flame hits the zombies head and kills it. since the skeletons are after Ago, Cherry and Orsik, but before everyone else and zombies are last, I've decided to let attacks directed at zombies to resolve at instant speed, since it won't really mess anything up.
Orsik Ungart |
Noticing that Talsazzar suffered quite a bit of damage, Orsik offers a quick prayer to Helm. Talsazzar can feel warmth flowing over him.
He also strikes the zombie near him with the warhammer.
Warhammer attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Warhammer damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Healing Word, Tal: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Concentrating on: Bless (7/10 rounds, Targets: Ragnaganon, Agotaras, Fang, Effect: Add d4 to your attack rolls and saving throws)
HP notes: Cherry - 13/21, Tal - 18/23, Fang - 15/28, Rag - 12/35, others - full
Talsazzar |
Con Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
"Filthy abomination! Talsazzar is not affected by the likes of you!" He retaliates by attempting to drive his dagger into its skull.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18 + bless: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Piercing damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
DoubleGold |
Orsik lands a good blow on the zombie part: 1d20 ⇒ 16 a leg
Fang hits the arm again causing the entire zombie to be destroyed, both arms, the leg and the zombie
Tal finishes off a skeleon on his turn as he jabs it, the one next to ago highlighted in red, but before that he gets an attack on Ago
hit: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (10) = 10 and so does the other one next to him hit: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (13) = 13 both miss
Ragnaganon is up
DoubleGold |
Assuming you were aiming at the most hurt one that kills the zombie and the rogue arm
The last two zombies go claw: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (9) = 13 vs Rag
claw: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (14) = 18
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (20) = 23 vs Rag
claw: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (12) = 16 vs Rag
calw: 4 + 1d20 ⇒ 4 + (14) = 18 vs rag
bite: 3 + 1d20 ⇒ 3 + (7) = 10 vs rag
Rag took dmg: 3d4 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1) + 4 + (2) = 14 you didn't adjust your life total from the last round you were hit. so you took 11 last round and 14 this round, you are unconcious, don't worry battle is nearly over, just don't fail 3 death saves before the battle ends, cause it is assumed someone stabilizes you after the battle is over
Round 4 start
Fhern |
Fhern will stop concentrating on the spikes now, since their usefulness has passed.
Fhern throws out another bolt at the closest standing zombie.
ProduceFlame: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
FireDamage: 1d8 ⇒ 7
"I've got you, Rag! Get back in there!"
HealingWord for Rag: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Orsik Ungart |
Orsik raises his shield and hammer to the skies. "Helm, the Great Guard! Please watch over this brave one!"
Channel Divinity: Preserve Life to Rag. That's 15 HP. Because making Death Saves is boring!
Concentrating on: Bless (6/10 rounds,
Targets: Ragnaganon, Agotaras, Fang, Effect: Add d4 to your attack rolls and saving throws)
HP notes: Cherry - 13/21, Tal - 18/23, Fang - 15/28, Rag - 15/35, others - full
Edit: Well, that's what I get from typing from phone. Oh well. Rag still gets up to 15 HP.
Cherry Poppins |
Gm, Barbarians have resistance to physical damage while raging so any damage done to Rag would be halfed.. Not sure if you have accounted for that..
Not sure who's turn it is..
Agotaras Springsmith |
Agotaras smiles as the undead fall before them. Pulling back his hammer he mumbles to himself.
"You do not attack my people."
Hammer: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 How do crits work vs Pathfinder?
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Talsazzar |
Talsazzar launches a fire bolt at the zombie near Rag.
fire bolt attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
fire bolt damage: 1d10 ⇒ 1
