"Right. So, I guess we're done here. Let some idiot thief summon another element."
She dusts the embers off of her dress and notes the soot on her leg. "Maybe I should wear pants..."
"Er, anyway. Let's head down the corridor and see what else is here."

"Nope I already checked the other pillars. Only this one had a gem." Kyshkumen says as he heads down the corridor as Seoni suggested.

Sorry for the delay. RL problems keep me busy
This long, low corridor is decorated with hieroglyphs and carvings depicting kings, gods, and sphinxes in orderly geometric rows.
Kysh inspection don´t reveal any trap so you continue south for many feet until the corridor turns to the south. A pair of stone door makes another posible path to the north.

"Surely there are not mimics this large." The masked man says as he goes about searching the room.

"Hm..." Bjor murmurs as he enters the room."Let's be sure huh?"
With that he kicks one of the boats, lightly tapping it at first, then puttong more force - but making sure not to destroy the antiques should they be real.

The room is not clear. Kysh can hear a "bzzz" comming from one of the boats, so he stops Bjor before he kicks it and awakes whatever lies inside Unless you desire to do it another way
Searching the other boat Zanu finds a bag full of dust. Detect magic reveals it´s magical, but its hard to identify what it is Spellcraft DC 26
Once you searched the room, the group walks through the corridor to the hypostyle:
Tall, pink granite columns, carved and painted to resemble palm trees, stand around the perimeter of this chamber, supporting the barrel vault of the ceiling. Slabs of the same pink granite line the walls. A stone sarcophagus stands alone on the limestone floor in the center of the room. Beyond, a dark doorway leads deeper into the pyramid to the west.
. General map update. You´ll go through the dark doorway or go back to the closed doors?

Seoni glares at the dust. "It's dust, and it's...magical. Yeah. Don't give me that look, I got my power from a magical tree, not from a book." She winks at Zanu.
"We may as well deal with that buzzing noise first." She pulls out her wand of magic missile and readies herself for whatever's under there.
Bjor Blutschnauze

"Well better deal with it now, than when it follows and strikes our backs."
Bjor readies his weapons if the others all agrre, then finaly kicks the boat to stir what lives within.

"But books come from trees."
"Uh, yes, but...hmmm. So, what's with that buzzing?" Seoni desperately changes topics to focus on the danger at hand.

I think the idea is to disturb them so they won't be a problem later.
"Perhaps," Abaal suggests, readying a bottle of alchemist's fire to toss at whatever hoard of monstrous insects might crawl or fly from the relic. "We could wake with a sleep spell?"
| Oykiv |
OK, new map prepared. As you had forced the enconter you can put yourselves whatever you want in the room and have a surprise round.
Bjor kicks the boat, and the buzz becomes more intense. Once scarab appear from the inside of the boat. Then a second one, and two more, and soon there are scarabs appearing from every part of the boat, gathering in one swarm and preparing to deal with whatever had disturbed them.

No need to wait for Bjor, he is pretty useless against swarms right now, but he will ready a reposition maneuver to drag Seoni out of the swarm should it attack her

Huh, maybe we shouldn't have provoked the swarm. Looks like most of us aren't prepared for it.
Seoni looses another wave of flames at the insects. "Fire, fire, hehehe..." a wicked grin briefly flashes across her face just as she regains her composure.

I would agree with Seoni, if not because she can handle the swarm by herself
With arsonist delight in her heart, Seoni sends a wave of flames that engulfs the remaining scarabs. Few of them can escape the flames, and those so fortunate starts to scatter to save the life.
With the swarm defeated you check the burned boat to see if the scarabs guard anything, but there´s nothing of valor on the boat.
Where we go?

"Shall we press forward, now that the way behind us is clear?" The masked man asks as he double checks around himself for more scarabs.
Pushing for the doors to the north? Or is it east of our current room?

Bjorn opens the nothern doors . Seeing they lead to a sparse room. Its bare sandstone walls and floor are devoid of decorations and furnishings.
Nevertheless, the room is not empty. In the room are four burning skeletons and a four-armed skeleton covered in dripping blood. They turn they heads to Bjorn and open their mouths in a silent shout as they prepare for battle.

Burning skeletons, eh? Can I use K. Arcana to identify? Also, can you update the map?
"Is there any room in this place that don't contain monsters or traps?" Seoni seems incredulous at this point, as if the gods just built a giant death trap to grind adventurers away.
Knowledge Arcana: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11 pfffft, I'll assume I failed to identify.
Seoni figures that using fire on the fire skeletons is a bad idea, so she hurls a scorching ray at the four armed fiend.

There was a new map. But I forgot to update the link. Now is resolved
Seoni sent a ray toward the four-arms skeleton. As the ray hits the skeleton it burns from toe to head, falling to the ground in a pile of dust. Too much damage for him
Hitting skeletons with clubs is common knowledge for me. Same as not trying to burn a flaming thing.
