As Bjorn open the dor you can see achamber with carved nature scenes covering its walls, depicting humanoid figures hunting a wide variety of prey—crocodiles, elephants, hippos, leopards, lions, and even stranger beasts. An open sarcophagus lies at the far end of the room.

Behind the sarcophagus appear a a strange feline and, as it moves, an skeleton rises from the sarcophagus. It´s empty eye sockets fixed in Bjorn as the first intruder to enter in his burial room.

Uhhhhh, no he can't. There's no way to charge, he can't take a five-foot step and ready an action, he could leave, or he can step into the room and get charged, pounced or both--which I suppose is his plan.

Abaal moves into the room subconsciously kicking himself for not be one of the first people through any given door in this place, noting this will make three times he will have nearly gotten killed by letting others go before him. Were that his friends were as quick as he, the Daring Blade of Katapesh. Naturally, when we get to the boss, Abaal will be polite and let Bjor go first. ;)

The feline and the skeleton react to Abbal provocations charging him. Being prepared for the feline charge Abaal is able to dodge his claws and bites, but having to deal with two combatants is too much for him and the skeleton slash him with his sword. -9 HP

Frustrated for attacking such hard prey, the feline howls in anger, making every body feel and ancient and unnatural fear.

He pushes his companions hard against the wall, rushing out of the narrow entrance. He makes for the chariot room, running at top speed.

How long does the fear effect last? And will Bjor be able to reah his mama by then? ;)

Seeing how Malaika and Bjor run away, and Seoni and Kysh can´t score a hit, Zanu feels it´s his obligation to start wounding those creatures, so he fires and acid globe to burn it. By the way, who?

Adopting a defensive stance Abaal tries to hit the feline, but he´s too concerned in self defense and can´t hit it.

"Hmpf. I hate magics in my brain." he grumbles into his beard, turning on the spot and darting back towards the scene of grisly battle at top speed.

Feeling gutsy, Seoni takes a step back and hurls another scorching ray at the skeleton.

Malaika comes back in time to see how Seoni sends a scorching ray to burn the skeleton. Zanu, moves past him to send another acid globe to hurt slightly the skeleton again.

Near them, Kysh and Abaal take vantage of their flanking to hit one blow after another against the undead feline, destroying it completly.

Kyshkumen drops one of his blades and draws his club as he circles the skeleton, careful to avoid an attack from a reckless move. Once he is in position he swings the club.

Seoni missiles wound the skeleton, leaving hit almost destroyed moments before Kyshkume hits it in the head, crushing it and making it´s remaining bones disperse through the room.

After a carefull examination of the room you find nothing valuable in the room, just the breastplate, heavy steel shield, and longsword of the skeleton. This chamber looks like an honorific tomb, but not one worth of a pharaon.

You can heal as you wish before continue.

Once the group has rested a little, and told Bjorn what had happened in his absence, its time to decide where to go next; along the corridor through the door to the west about twenty feet away of the intersenction, or head back to take another route.

Bjor rushes back into the room with fury in his eyes, only to realize he missed all the action. Having fled like a little boy before a mere cat, he is mostly content with waiting silently outside - trying to ignore what just happened.

Once the room is searched, he walks to the nearest door, gesturing the others to follow.
"No point in waiting. I shall crush what ever stalks this chamber with the fury of the northwind!"
He is not overly stealthy, trying to obviously show off his inhuman bravery after what happened.

After his companions have gathered need him, he opens the door, weapon and shield ready for what awaits.

With everybody recovered of his wounds, Bjor open the door boldly ready to crush whatever awaits him in the next room.
Just to see the room is empty, no enemies await them not even a pit to fall into, just an empty room with four stone obelisk carved with hieroglyphs, one in each corner. The obelisks surround a golden circle engraved in the center of the floor.

Cool breeze emanates from the southeast obelisk. The southwest obelisk seems to be normal stone. Heat radiates from the northwest obelisk, and the northeast obelisk is covered in a layer of moisture.

DC 15 Knoledge arcane, or read magic spell:
Using your knowledge (or magic) you are able to decipher the hieroglyphs learn that each of the obelisks is connected to one of the four elements—air, earth, fire, and water—and were used to summon elementals to assist in the construction of the pyramid.

Yes of course! This is clearly a summoning circle and the obelisks helped with that effort.

Once found a new place to search, Malaika focus his detect magic in the panel, seeing a small conjuration aura differentiated of the obelisks aura.

It´s a medium elemental, Kysh. With a +9 to init ;D

Knowing the obelisks were used to summon elementals, it´s easy for Seony to identify the creature. Being a elemental creature it has the habitual elemental immunities and, obviously fire. It´s vulnerable to cold, can make burn the creatures it hits and has a low will.

Seoni´s missiles impacts the elemental wounding it. But Zanu´s ray misses it.

The elemental, angered by being wound goes against the sorcerer, but Seoni evade´s its attacks easily

In my head he whips his mystic blade so fast in the direction of the elemental that he literally snuffs the thing out by the gust of wind alone (assuming he kills it). But maybe I'm biased. ;)


You´re biased by your high damage ^^

Abaal talks of danger as he makes the elemental looks an easy fight. Whith a fast whip of his blade he disperses the flames making the elemental go as quick as it comes.

If anyone can pass an DC 26 spellcraft check, I´ll told you what the gem is.

Seeing what happened when Kysh touched one obelisk, the group leaves the room pondering where to go now.

Elemental traits for GM:
Immunity to bleed, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning.
Not subject to critical hits or flanking. Does not take additional damage from precision-based attacks, such as sneak attack.
Proficient with natural weapons only, unless generally humanoid in form, in which case proficient with all simple weapons and any weapons mentioned in its entry.
Proficient with whatever type of armor (light, medium, or heavy) it is described as wearing, as well as all lighter types. Elementals not indicated as wearing armor are not proficient with armor. Elementals are proficient with shields if they are proficient with any form of armor.
Elementals do not breathe, eat, or sleep.

Fine with how that played out, just some info for the GM in future games.
