All new players are picked, hopefully will post soon.
Hi to everyone, things to know for this campaign, I am on GMT so posting times may be disjointed.
This is a home brew system so not everything will be by the books, though anything i change, changes for all, I am a hard, but fair DM. If my npc get bonuses then the PC have similar bonuses available to them.
important info for when you level up to level 2, I will allow skill swaps at this point, particular if you aren't using a skill as much and you want to swap for one that isn't strictly a class feature. this must be discussed with me first and can only be done during the level up to level 2, after that you have what you have.
Anything else please ask me or my players.
look forward to starting up again on Monday and seeing how you guys get on.

Hey everyone. Just checking in and introducing myself I suppose.
Was kinda curious about what all is homebrew about the game. What's different from regular pathfinder? Also was wondering where we're at in the setting.
Oh, and I give little finder permission to take all the liberties she wants when it comes to my background. Just try not to kill off my entire family please. If you want me to clear up anything just let me know.

Ok Hi to everyone again.
The home brew element is the worlds lack of magic and some other things which I don't want to spoil for you. but you will notice that npcs reaction to magic is not that of a normal Gallarion NPC/creature.
it is set in a 'as yet' unknown area of Galarian. meaning the town you are in and surrounding area is not from Galarion pre-this game,(however for the porpoises of the game it has always been there, it isn't unknown to the world you are all in, just to the pathfinder world as a game) but you are from any part of Galarion you want to be.
the original home brew setting for this is still in development so to make character creation simpler i have brought it back a little towards pathfinder.
you will come across creatures not in the pathfinder books and some folk tales and history not from pathfinder. The way some people work will not be pathfinder esq. this is a low magic world so they will all have ways of doing things that haven't been inspired by magic.
whilst combat works as with the normal pathfinder combat rules (again to make it easy) don't rely on knowing your enemy's stats as a player.
As you play more will become clear but I hope this helps.
also a few more things to bare in mind:
Outside of combat feel free to roll without prompt but if I feel as a DM the roll isn't needed, I will just ignore it. don't think me rude it just i run by 'common sense and reality' rules.
i.e. you want to talk to people in town to find out town history, you would just roll play it and actually talk to people, not roll a knowledge check, you may roll to get an idea where to ask first. so skills will be used a lot but roll playing can effect more than the dice. be wise and use all you have to hand.
my default answer when asked for things for your character (that you would not normally get or be able to do) or setting will be 'NO, let me think about it'. meaning it wont happen straight away but after i have thought and made sure it wont break my game etc lol i may allow it in future.
As I said i run hard but very fair and hopefully lots of fun campaigns.

Game starts tomorrow guys, read the previous game threads if you haven't already, to catch up.
Archaouss, you have Sybils diary and Elon, you have the pages torn from it. You are both making your way towards the explosion. Along with Velana who has not long woken up and (from the sounds of it) had a good time the night before.
I WILL CHANGE ONE THING. Simply that Archaouss has caught up to you Elon and Velana so my original players are all heading up together.
hope that answers your question as well Archaouss.
I will post tomorrow and the game can start as soon as I have posted in the game thread, the post will be a small recap and let new players know where they are in relation to everything.
looking forward to it, can't wait guys.

General note to players: Roll what ever skill you feel you character would use at any point, I won't prompt every time a skill roll would be used, just when it is necessary for the story, use your instincts. If it isn't needed or appropriate I will simply not take the roll into account and explain why. Use the adage 'better to have it and not need it.'. lol

Ok, having a brain fart here. How the heck do I post my important combat stats and such so that it appears next to my alias name? I've done it before but I will be damned if I can remember how to do it.
When I edit my alias I put it next to 'full name' and thats not doing it.
Cheers
PS I'm back from my vacation and the road grime has been washed away. I should be able to post with great frequency from now on.

Posting seems to have slowed down a bit over the holiday period (I believe it has been labor day fro our American players? forgive me if i got that wrong, I don know a lot about holidays outside of the UK.), I'm trying to wait for everyone to post before I reply, but will start replying more often if it stays an issue.

Good to see you back Velana, how did the holiday period treat you?
few notes, you are not it not the same room as the creature at the moment. So you can not see it, you are by the entrance in a different room, your perception roll will get you some information however and when you choose what to do your initiative roll will be taken into account.
will put more on the game thread.

I haven't really got anything I want to ask the guy. I have information on the guy that I can't share right now. Therefore just want to move on to Paul.
Btw, I alas wont be able to post from Thursday through to Monday. LARP event near me is the final one in the current system, so should be really interesting.
