The way I see it you have four ways to go that you haven't explored fully: the stairs the hobgoblin ran up, the door to the left near the stairs, the room with the lioness or the sloping passage from the fresco room. Which one would you like?

The fairly large and T-shaped room is dark and dank, and smells of mold and rot. Old crates and barrels fill the chamber. The only visible exits are two swollen wooden doors at the back of the room. Both are locked.

Is there any writing on the crates or barrels that indicate what is supposed to be in them?

The boxes contain diverse sorts of mundane equipment. It seems to be a storeroom of some sort, but most of it is very old and useless. If you like, you could rifle through it while avoiding the mold, although it will take a while. If you do, make a perception check.

The door is locked and swollen shut. needing both a Disable Device check and a Strength check to get open.

At Selena's warning, Kwin avoids the boxes and barrels.

Perhaps we can check this stuff very carefully once we've made sure there aren't any more threats in this area.

He follows Kaduk closely, ready with a Feather Fall spell if he needs it... I know I keep saying that, but one of these times, when that pit trap opens below you, you'll be thanking me! :)

I believe Kaduk can take 20 to open the lock but forcing the doors might be noisy

After some work Kaduk gets the other door open and it too opens into a small closet. There is some equipment in this one, though.

Rooting through the junk in the room you come upon a number of boxes of miscellaneous dry goods, including a small box with six tindertwigs and a sunrod, and another containing two flasks of acid. That's about it.

There is nothing more of interest in the room, and no visible exits, so where do you want to go next?

He then tries to follow Kaduk up the stairs quietly.

With a satisfied smile as for once his many flasks, and bottles don't clang together as he moves...in fact if he gets a chance he might want to stop and make sure they're all still intact. Usually not that quite.

Sneaking up the stairs you find yourselves in an old storeroom. Rubble, old barrels and casks, rotted wooden crates, and other debris clog this area. Cobwebs fill the corners. The air is dank.

The only exit is a set of stairs to your left leading up.

Good thinking. You'd have to make a Survival check to make out the specific trail, but all the footsteps you can make out go up the stairs.

Kwin can't make out the hobgoblin's tracks, but at some point several humanoid creatures have travelled this way.

The room above the stairs is square and filled with ancient wine racks. It is dark and you can hear the faint sound of dripping water. A door to your right provides the only visible exit.

Sounds good, Kaduk. While Kaduk investigates, Kwin will keep a watch down the stairs, making sure no one sneaks up behind them.

The dripping seems to come from behind the door. You also find two intact wine bottles and a torn and yellowed page from what appears to be a diary or something.

The stench of bat droppings is overwhelming in this debris-filled room. There must be hundreds of bats nesting above, and there seems to be cracks in the roof leading outside. That is also the source of the dripping water. There are no visible exits.
