"Why wait ? What I would like is to divide the money now. Tomorrow morning I'll bring you to full health and we'll sell what we don't want to keep . We'll also check if someone is looking for a group. I would suggest we go back to the ruins the morning after whether or not we found someone "

Kaduk Jaskar |

In that case, we'll appraise what we've got when we're in town then. Here, take a look.

Avendryl Silvermoon |

With Avendryl leaving the group, don't forget to add the MW longsword he claimed back into the party's treasure. Good luck, and have fun.

Kwin Avassar |

Deep in thought at their lost companions, Kwin offers It is a difficult life we are setting out on. Thank you, all of you, for your actions in there. I would have been lost without them.
After a few moments, the sober move passes. Let's divvy the coins, get some rest, and they sell off the rest. I don't know about the rest of you, but it won't be long before I am ready to try again.

Valynie |

Frankly I wont be the one asking for Avendryl to give back the longsword . After all, HE did stay until we came back to town and Valynie is not that much interested in money
Valynie will wait until Avendryl has taken leave of the group and then stretches before saying
'Males, they don't know what they are missing, do they ? For your own information and I'll have you castrated if you tell it to anyone , this one was one of a reasons I tagged along. Oh well, easy lost , easy won ... Do not look so forlorn , I'll stay for the moment. The Goddess do not like the Destroyer after all.At least now I might be able to estimate there is a slight chance YOU won't run away when things get dicey."
Ok so money wise that means 6 gp , 22sp , 54 cp by person . Let's sell the chainmail, the 2 banded mail and the longbow and give the masterwork thieves tools to Kaduk . I'll keep the healer kit for the moment ( given mu healing skill , not that much of an advantage but still ) . If no one want the masterwork longsword , I'll also keep in for the moment . For the moment , let Kaduk keep the 50 go agate , it's portable wealth after all and we don not need to buy anything yet

I agree with all, including leaving the longsword with Avendryl.
The next morning, Kwin will prepare Mending and Presdigitation. Before the remaining armor and weapons are taken to be sold, he'll cast them to make sure they are properly mended and cleaned, under Marius's expert guidance if he's willing.

Black Tom |

The best place to sell weapons and armor in Brindenford would be Aesa's Smithy.
The long golden locks of Aesa Voe suggest that she's not from around here, as do her ice-blue eyes, six-foot-four-inch build, and unique (Skandik) accent. Stronger and haler than most men, Aesa's exotic northern beauty catches some off-guard, but not as much as the fact that she swears like a sailor.
She is more than willing to buy the loot from you at the usual rate, and exchange some war-stories as you do so. She speaks longingly of a paladin named Baine who visited Brindenford a few years ago. He was assassinated shortly thereafter. "Sordid business", Aesa mutters although "sordid" is most definitely not the word she uses. "Nice sword, though. Finest I ever saw.
If you want to explore Brindenford some more, make some friends or whatnot, just drop me a hint.

Marius deBlack Forge |

Marius throws his old long sword into the mix of things to sell. "This axe more than makes up for my old blade." Adding the coins to his purse, he rests easy that night in a warm bed and readies his belongings in the morning.

Kaduk Jaskar |

Marius, won't you consider putting something heavier on? You could really pile on the hurt if you don't have to defend so much.
Ok, leaving the mw sword for Avendryl. I'm trading out my normal thieving's tools. Suggesting Marius to upgrade armor and trade in previous set. Considering Avendryl left when returned to town, loot splits 4 ways, Kaduk-Valynie-Kwin-Avendryl? Or give mw longsword as gift and split 3 ways? We'd be selling 1 longbow, 1 thief's tools, 1 longsword. If anyone wants to upgrade armor, there's 1 chain-mail, 2 banded mail sets, then we'll sell the rest off.

Valynie |

It makes sense that Avendryl would take the sword as his part of the loot before leaving us. So that means 7 gp 32sp and 72cp for each of us
Kaduk since you want the other masterword longsword , it is yours. Since you are staying , no need to split 3 ways
Valynie will pass a part of the day learning what temples and chapels are in Brindenford .

Black Tom |

Kwin: there is no arcanist worth mentioning resident i Brindenford, but there are some rumors about a crazy hermit living in a hole somewhere outside town. Nobody seems to know anything specific, though, and the information is rather old, so he may even be dead.
Aesa is happy to relieve you of your old weapons and armor and furnish you with whatever you may need.

Black Tom |

Aesa looks at you and laughs. "You have a deal, little brother."
Perhaps not a brilliant deal for Aesa, but I'm not going to hinder you from changing weapons.
You also notice an fair-haired elven woman standing slightly aside and sporting a rare elven sword. Aesa nods appreciatively.

Selina Aldaeth |

A silver-haired female elf, standing about 5'7", approaches the half-orc and the human. She is garbed in a green-scaled shirt, that matches her eyes, with an elven sword, her only weapon, strapped on her back. On her shoulder, on top of her traveling cloak, rests a backpack. Around her neck dangles a medallion etched with a bird. The woman approaches you and you see she moves with the gracefulness of a dancer.
"Greetings gentlemen, may Shelyn fill your hearts with love, in all its forms." Her eyes look up, as she finishes the sentence. After pausing for a second, she continues: "I am Selina Aldaeth, a warrior in my goddess' service. A pleasure to meet you. Selling off the spoils of war, I see."

Kwin Avassar |

The eclectic looking halfling replies to Selina. A pleasure to meet you! Yes, we've been braving the dangers of the wild and the ancient, and have some prosperity to show for it. What brings you to these parts?

Selina Aldaeth |

"My sense of adventure and a desire to put down oppression wherever I see it. Should you need an extra sword arm, mine is available. I'm sorry, I did not get your name, my eclectic friend."

Kwin Avassar |

My name is Kwin. Kwin Avassar. I am a wizard of modest ability. A pleasure to meet you. We are humble explorers who have met here in this town and decided to work together to explore some nearby ruins. If you are aimiable to the idea, we simple agreed to equal shares of anything of value we recover.

Black Tom |

After you finished your introductions, had a good meal and a good nights sleep and maybe some new supplies, would you fancy some more exploring? Or is there someone else you'd like to talk to?
As you return to The Lost Shepherd, the middle-aged lady looks surprised that at least some of you survived your first foray into the dungeon. She puts away her cards and offers to buy you a round.

"Sounds fair and just. I am in, could really use some coin." Selina smiles and accompanies the party.

Kwin Avassar |

Sold everything on the loot page. Who's on the roster? Marius, Kaduk, Kwin, Valynie, Selina.
That's right. I believe Selina is joining us after the split, but if she needs additional gear, Kwin would be winning to loan some coins...

Black Tom |

Kaduk chats up Taran the barmaid, asking about survivors. She's young and just on the pretty side of plain, although she wears a simple dress and a clean white apron.
"Oh, you shouldn't listen to Marlena", she says. "There are plenty of survivors of Dragon's Delve. It's just that none of them are in town right now. Most people tend to move on rather quickly. And then of course there are some that don't come back at all. But it's not that bad."
Selina:
In case you are ready to go back. I tried to make a map of what you have explored. I marked the unexplored exits with red smudges.

Black Tom |

Right you are. :)
You return to the room with the pool and take the right-hand passage. It ends in a square room, empty except for some rotting furniture. There are two doors, one wooden to the left and one of steel that has a distinct bluish tint. The wooden door is unlocked while the steel door is sealed shut and doesn't even have a lock.
Selina:

Selina Aldaeth |

Selina looks around incredulous. "This is not possible...I saw this room...in my dream. And Kaduk, you mentioned something about a wolf. I dreamt of that too. What foul magic is afoot here?"

Perhaps it is divine magic or arcane power. We can't know its intent, so we must be on guard.
Sorry guys. I'm hoping posting will be back to normal by Monday.

Black Tom |

Knowledge (engineering) 20 or (arcana) 25:
The room behind the wooden door is rectangular, 30 times 20 feet. It is filled with wrecked wooden furniture, mostly chairs, tables, and bookshelves, old and rotten. A few rotted and useless books lie amid the wreckage, but nothing of value other than a large, ornate bronze key that fits in the double doors you already picked the lock of. The key itself is worth 15 gp.
There are no visible exits, so where do you want to go next?
