OK, I'm trying o get my head around this province stuff, but I'm getting a bit confused given different sources of info.
For starters, the info you wrote on page 1 of this thread differs fom the page Moergan lined for me here. As much as I hate to say it, it seems you've given me too much treasury (21 GB instead of 16), but perhaps not enough military units? Or more specifically, navy - the wiki states 2 galleons, 4 caravels, and 2 coasters.
Also, the wiki doesn't include all my holdings on the domain table - I have them in the Player's Secrets book, which lines up with Moergan's description of my Sources, but I'm surprised the wiki domain table doesn't have them. The province ummary at the top, which shows RP income 21 (province 7 RO, source 14) does line up with the absent sources though....
Also, the Player's Secrets book states I have a personal wealth/reserve treasury of 8 GB squirrelled away in case of financial emergency, a library (not terribly expansive) of arcane spells, and a small holding of magic items (some potions, a gem of brightness, a scroll, and an absent/lost staff, obviously an adventure hook). It does, however, say that all spells and items need to be approved by the GM, and that the personal treasury is assumed to be available, but can be considered lost if th GM wants to make an adventure out of it.
Can you clarify any of this for me please?!
Cheers.

Yo GM - any slots left in Anuire?
I don't have the Birthright campaign setting but I have a bunch of region books Tuarhievel, Medoere, Ilien, Endier, Tuornen, Talinie, Stjordvik. I understand Tuarhievel and Stjordvik aren't in Anuire....
And I'm not fully hooked on playing a witch regent either, though it might be fun...:)
If Squee has lost interest in Aerenwe I'd be up for it but I don't have the book for that domain.
(little hewy should be able to give me a good reference...)

Published Aerenwe starts with provinces and law holdings, so a martial character would be best to maximize regency point collection. Follow the link to review.
My PM to Squee to confirm his interest in Aerenwe has been unanswered for 48+ hours. Wait for Elton to give you a green light to start building a character. To prepare, the character generation rules and guide are on page 1 of this thread.
cheers

*covers face with hands* Oh no, not that guy....

I haven't owned BR since before the turn of the millennium. This is what you want. There's info on the provinces and stuff there too.
Edit: there's a Pathfinder conversion linked on this thread (pg 2?) that the GM has made, too.

Squee had to bow out because the load of learning new rules and going to (back?) college was too much for him to take in. My writing style isn't quite the best in trying to explain rules, I guess. It's being put to great effect writing my wiki for my psionics campaign, though. I don't blame him, actually, BIRTHRIGHT is asking a lot.
Its one of those campaigns you fall in love with but it can be too fathomous to dive into. If Birthright were compared with a woman, she'd be the most beautiful and accessible female Aristocrat in the whole world, but it's her suitors that put themselves out of the running for marriage.
So, I invited Squee to one of my other campaigns.

I'm here but won't be ready for at least another 8-12 hrs. I've checked the Birthright.net site and dl'ed the 3.5 rules. Haven't checked them out yet though.
GM - should I look to be an Ainurean or can I be say a Vos or half-elf?
Concepts for your consideration:
Vos Barbarian - though an obvious outsider was a guard of the Lady who follows "state religion" of Nesirie and tries to claim legitimacy through strength, adherence to Nesirie's teachings and honorable mien.
Half Elf Magus - again an outsider but claims the Lady was his mother and the Mage of the Forestis his father. Pays lip service to Nesirie and favors a populist approach to the rural cultural norms.
If neither of those are ok or are too controversial:
Human (Aerenwe Ainurean) Paladin or Cavalier (Order of the Star) [EDIT - or Inquisitor] of Nesirie - "Cael" mentioned in the Aerenwe writeup...
I'm fine to start after the rest if I'm holding you up...

The thread for game play and Discussion is open. You guys could have posted at any time since last monday. :)
I had wrongly thought you'd all have that figured out. BTW: I will be unavailable the next few days as I'll be Laying Out Pathways #31. I'll play the Domain Turn for your enemies last.
@Ocean: You can be a Vos, or a Half-Elf. These choices aren't impossible. Which seems stronger for you?

GM Elton: Ok, so I'm looking at the Birthright d20 CS Version 0.0, Jan 30, 2003 as a general guide.
From the first post on this thread I'm going through the character creation list.
Questions:
* 1 Domain Aerenwe. Class Inquisitor.
Depending on your class, you can earn more regency points for law, temple, guild or source holdings. Your first feat allows you to earn half regency for one type of holding. A second feat allows you to earn full regency for the same holding or half for a second type of holding.
Not sure what this means yet, but sounds fun.
* 2: Race - Human/Vos.
* 4 -Bloodline strength and score. So my Bloodline strength is 1d20. Might as well do that now:
Bloodline: Bloodline strength: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Do I roll on the bloodline derivation chart by Race on page 34 of the CS? Or do I choose a Bloodline? I'm a bit confused about Bloodline Strength and Bloodline Score....
* 5 - Stats - so I can ignore a bad Bloodline roll and choose a 30 pt but for 7 stats - including Blood , which is doubled to get Bloodline score.
- A little confused about scions. I thought I would be a scion - why would you choose NOT to be?
* 6 - Traits - Can I choose one regional feat from the CS in place of two traits? Wanting to get the Vos Inscribe War Tattoo regional feat. If not, I don't have the Humans of Golarion book so some Varisian/Vos suggestions would be great....
* 7 - I get one bloodline feat and must roll for bloodline powers. Roll for number or type?
* 8/9 - Feats -I must spend my first feat on Regency of Holding but I can get Leadership as my human bonus feat?
* 10 - Bodyguards - I'm guessing an Inquisitor is a hybrid...
Bodyguards Bodyguards: 4d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 6, 4, 3) + 10 = 28
* 11 - As an inquisitor do I get the 1d3 realm spells?
* 12 - Are any of the new skills class skills for an Inquisitor?
* 14 - Equipment - Starting gold is usually 4d6 x 10. So as a regent that is x20.
Starting gold Gold!: 4d610 ⇒ (7, 142, 266, 465) = 880
* So Nesirie's favored weapon is the trident? That's...interesting. :} Any chance she occasionally bestows the cutlass?
* Can someone relink me to the PF conversion... Specifically for Inquisitors....
Thanks in advance and sorry if I'm being obtuse!!!
