ok, just so i am clear...
my trade route brings in ?? GB income.
I owe 1 GB of that per tick (how often is that) to Ghoere.
I spend 5 GB for my small coliseum/marketplace? if i a Roman Bath is considerably smaller, then perhaps i'd best go with something more like a fairgrounds. Nice, cleared ground, decent protective fence around it with guard towers, and a nice cleared area in the middle with some seating to see jousts/melees.
the one i made on my first turn? i dunno. i guess whatever the basic strength is. i mean i had trade routes before i started as part of the Endier domain, but i made a new one. i assume it's level 0 since it just started?
oh in that case instead of a building i'd like to make the trade route more profitable so i actually get some money from it

you are managing your kingdom. Oh, you just made me realize I should have had you all do domain management (collect taxes and tithes, that sort of thing).
Alright, everyone, next turn, make sure you roll to collect taxes and tithes on your turn. After this, you pay your expenses. I had assumed that you all did this in the background the last turn, but when Gaius asked about this, I noticed not everyone had.
Basic rules for collecting your regency and tithes are simply thus:
-- You collect regency from your province based on your knowledge of diplomacy and warcraft. The other holdings are much more involved.
-- you collect taxes or tithes based on what holding you command. This is modified by your skill as an administrator.
Note: I have a magazine I've got to start laying out today, so I won't be available much. I'll look in from time to time.
Let's do all of the domain maintenance at the end of the season for Season 1. Then, we can do it again to start Season 2 if you want to lead with it in the future.
Sorry to let everyone down, but though I'm really keen to play this one, I just haven't had the time to get my head around the system properly - real life and all that (not to mention a number of other PbPs and face to face games). Apologies also for taking some time to let you all know - I've been hoping I'd get a chance to learn it quick and still get up and running, but it just hasn't happened, so I'm pulling the pin now.
