I am assuming that actually reaching the castle wall doesn't require much of a roll as we know the watch patterns. The roll I made is assuming we get there and we then need to climb the wall.
Ritmush has a grappling bolt and decent skill in shooting, so we can likely make the climb fairly easy. Knotted rope is something like a DC0 and we've had most of a night to assumedly prepare for this.

I will be camping from Friday June 26 through Thursday July 2nd. I will not have access to the internet probably. I may have short very brief and very spotty phone access, but not enough to reliably post.

I am up, but not out of the woods (first antibiotic failed, on the second one now) and I could not stay in bed any longer, so I got up and went to work yesterday. I started updating games, but quickly ran out of energy. I am at it again today.
Anyone else want to tell me any preparations before the door is opened? Is anyone going to open the door? Is anyone out there
Sorry for the delay.

I am still here, just unsure how to respond to such a creature with "limited" intelligence as the creature presented to her is all. I had to re-read you last post a couple time to get it lol. Great job roleplaying Terq.

Really tried to get every game updated this weekend, but I didn't make it.
My tooth extraction of Tuesday isn't working out as well as everyone had hoped, and this Friday I go in for jaw surgery, so I may be off the boards for a day or two this coming weekend. But I will try to get this game, and the others I didn't get to yesterday, updated tomorrow.

No worries, take the time you need. We shall be here when you are ready.
While we are waiting, Unbolath, Portia.
So the plan here is that we are going to hit the jail, free our alies and then have Calliope take on the appearance of one of the guards and bring us to Karl.
We then engauge in mighty fisticuffs with the boss once he arrives after learning one of the captives knows something about the artifices he has been researching/ collecting.

For what it's worth, and I know I've said before how I do not like talking about real life problems of mine in the threads, I am up, and improving (on the sixth round of anti-biotics this summer). With the doctor treating me now saying, "hmmm, maybe it isn't an infection, hey I know let's schedule a cat scan" so, even though I am up, I am not at my best but I am trying to update games.

I'm behind in all my map updates (which are done on another computer). I'm sorry. I don't want to use this forum as a place to talk about myself, so just know that I am okay, little trouble seeing, and with balance, but I am okay, and when I can get to the right computer I will update all my game maps.
Again, so sorry.

Im good with that. Unbolath' seems like a great straight man to Ritmush's nonsense. And Portia's bird is cool.
Perhaps ill have ritmush try (and comically fail) to eat it.
Also we have a doppelganger friend, that is awesome. And I should know, I play a bacon scented combat wombat.

Okay - so here it is. I will try to update all my games this weekend, really try, and keep at it through the weekend and into next week. Okay?
I had a CT scan on Monday, the results weren't the best. I am scheduled for a surgery on Oct. 27 to remove something from my head that cannot be treated with drugs, but it is not in my brain, and is not supposed to be any kind of cancer, just something that needs to be taken out. There is, as always, a tiny, tiny chance of complications including vision problems - BUT I intend to keep doing this until I am forced to stop.

I would like to ask the three of you a question. First, I want you to know that I have been struggling to come up with a plot for this game (I try to tailor my basic plots around the Characters and when we had so many characters come and go I sort of lost sight of where I was going). I think there is something to be wrapped up here in the prison, but then I have an idea.
Another one of my games has a very dedicated player, and all the rest have disappeared. That game “Eyes of the Beholders” shared similar plot elements to this game. I have asked that player if he would consider moving the character to a new game, which will be directly connected to the plot of the game that character is in, and that new game will be the Iron Gods Pathfinder Adventure.
What I want to ask the three of you, is if you would consider wrapping up this game with a clue that sends you to “Torch” which I will place to the north of Fort Horizon. The setting will remain the world of Riom, and the continent will remain Garicadia, but you will discover that another civilization, similar in most ways to the Numerian setting exists on this continent and until now the WEAC has been covering up its existence and restricting contact with these people.
You will discover the existence of Torch, here in the prison, and that Karl Drespor is part of the Technic League, if this idea appeals to you.
If this idea appeals to you it will accomplish two things for me, first it will consolidate two of my games that I know I am having trouble keeping interesting, into one game, and second it will give me a fixed plot that I can focus on. If you want to do this, I will probably up the difficulty of the encounters in the first module of the Iron Gods Adventure Path, but otherwise most of it will stay the same. The plot of the Adventure Path will mesh nicely with what is basically at the core of this game and my other game.
Please tell me what you think about this idea. If you don’t like it, I will not involve this group, and instead focus on making this game more interesting in some other way.
Thanks.

Meh, i'd been waffling on ritmush wanting to return home or not. Type that he is he'd want to see th next horizon.
I have also never had the chance to play iron gods so that soul be awesome.
Do you want us to reboot our characters or could we keep them as is? Ritmush would ebe very sad if his magic ghost goggles up and left him.

We will continue on with the exploration of the basement of the jail. What you discover there will send you to Torch (unless Portia has objections).
I would like to ultimately close this game and open a new one to try and make a clean start with the new game.
I am opening a recruitment for the new game (even if this one stays where it is and you do not take up the iron Gods path) because the other game's player is excited to take on the new game idea.
The new game will be called
"Beyond the Eyes of the Iron Gods"

I am game for shutting down and rehashing a different game.
First of all, get better Terq :)
But yeah, I am game for starting a new game, just give me a link when you get to that stage of it or let me know you have started it.

Thanks Portia - I will be getting better soon, as soon as the surgery is over, which is next week, thanks again.
Okay, you are all in the cell area of the prison, the things you discover here could send you to your next adventure. I'll try to stay right on top of anything you want to do or say right now, and if we can get it done, we can move into Iron Gods as soon as I am recovered.
