RD 3: Aberten joins the fun
There is a bank of greenish yellow fog that overtakes, Grimm, Andrea, Lucrezia, Orsin and Faelyn. It has no physical effect on Ziz. All sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet is obscured. Everyone, but Ziz, in that group needs to make a fortitude save.

I think Grimm meant he double moves along the ground, unless he does have a potion of flying.
faelyn's 3rd round action was to move up to Grimm cast fly on him, then faelyn dim hopped back 20 feet. The bad guys went next. When Grimm's action comes up he indicated he went straight up which to me suggests he fly trying to find the eryines.
