Guys my Legacy of Fire game needs players.

We are still first level.
The DM puts the maps up for combat but does not use tokens.
But she is a good DM. Pretty good rules mastery but generally follows rule of cool.

We currently have me (Calain) a Raging Barb bad ass
An elven witch named Samuel
A gnome Archaeologist Bard
And a Sword/Shield Ranger (only posts intermittently due to work)

The DM is agreeable to one or two new Chars.

This is a 1 or 2 day post game.

You may have applied for Crimson throne. We lost someone from there as well, not sure if we are replacing that one though.

So *I* would suggest a Magus or Inquisitor or Summoner or Alchemist but that's me.

Actually y'know what would be freaking awesome?

If the PAIR of you submitted a pair of Dwarves. Both with glory of old trait and Steel Soul feat.

That's +5racial to saves and If one of you was a Inquisitor and One was a magus (both classes have strong fort AND will saves) enemy magic would flow off you like water off a duck.

Twin hard as F*#k dwarves with decent skills, and differing magical outlook.
The inquisitor could b!+ch about his non-believer brother.
The Magus could take the p!$$ that his brother's always preaching.

What do you think of a dwarf Forgemaster? I was interested in playing one of those. I saw they get Lead Blades as a spell and they do not channel but instead scribes runes which is nothing special till 4th level.

The twin dwarf thing was just an idea I pitched cause we don't have either of those classes and I thought it was cool.

Andrea, I understand that. I can't believe the number of GMs I see have had injuries (had one DM that had appendix removed but was only away for 5 days before letting us know he was back) or they have internet or computer problems. Sounds like a jinx.

I have had a couple of tryouts as well. That really isn't fun and then one game had DM ask and players picked my character then I still didn't make it. I am liking this one a lot so far. I know will see new posts every day.

I believe that Baldwin has said that once John answers Horice that we will be doing a little time-skip where we can do various things before the next plot point/side-quest, so I will just put up the treasure list from the Basatd's again. We can no doubt assume that we get everything properly Id'd. So once Baldwin posts what the items are, we can claim or sell off as needed.

Story note
The loan has been paid off so we no longer have to put money in the kitty. Resistance leader Areal does ask for some donations that people can handle on their own. We can also donate to the new Westcrown Orphanage fund. ;)

I think this is just a lull since we finished the first adventure and are transitioning to the next. A kind of 'tidying up' phase.

Well. I am on all day. Not much going on though.

DM' how much would the noble want to spend on his son? Mostly want to know for char interaction with Grumm. Not sure yet but maybe a +2 weapon (+1enchant+ ability) once he and Lucrezia pick a favored weapon. +1 Agile Rapier for example or +1 Returning Chackram.

@Andrea. Can you work out a rough GP share once gear is sold.
No one has claimed the masterwork weapons (I don't want them)
and IF they remain unclaimed should probably be sold.
Also I guess you should take the cost of the +1 BREASTPLATE out of my share since I gave it to Ermolos. Sorry.

I would be interested in the short sword (magic) most likely. I am not worried about the Vittles as I think those could be for us as well as the kids. Think the cloth was taken by Orsin to the haberdasher or is the plan. At the moment, main think I need to do is have Tweaker find a masterwork (don't know about material) +2 str comp shortbow.

Andrea the food rations stuff would be help out the support of the Areal and the orphanage.

You all don't have to really worry about taking care of the those kids....the nobles will set something up (unless this is something you want to develop your characters. I'm sure Arael will use them as information gathers.)

OK. Or if he's a 2 weapon fighter type. How about a +1 Menacing Dagger (mithral) and a Masterwork (Cold Iron) Dagger.

A noble has guards so likely has flank partners. Menacing makes his.flank bonus go from +2 to +4. Best enchant for someone who always has bodyguards nearby.

Plus daggers can be worn at court or hidden in quick draw sheaths

But it would need to be a +1 menacing dagger since you can't put an ability on something unless it's+1 first.

Given the risk of Devils being assassins I'm sure they would.want alchemical silver or mithral as a material.

Should Tweaker be thinking for his other weapon being made of a special material for when he gets TWF? I was trying to decide if I wanted to go with a Cestus or not. Just thought it sounded like an interesting combo as gives me Slashing or bludgeoning or piercing though a Morningstar would do the same.

Edit: Also figure that at some point will be looking to see if can find a Handy Haversack after getting weapons sorted out.

As far as +2 Comp bow and the handy haversack those are available.

Weapon finesse, TWF, Weapon Focus: Short sword can make a rogue dangerous.

Based on the others research, Lucrezia may be getting a new weapon of her own from Duncan. She'll just wait till ya'll find out what's best to use against shadowbeasts. :)

Thanks Baldwin. Will be after I get second weapon made and if the party suggests I get it made out of special material. I don't have any special proficiency with weapons outside of basic rogue weapons so willing to listen to advice. Cestus just seemed interesting choice. I am still new enough that normally 4th or 5th level seems to be where I lose the group I play with so doing special materials is new to me.
