Well given the proximity to the woods and my character I could certainly b drawn to events simply due to proxiity. I do have a bit of the "defend those who cannot defend themseves" vibe going (not that the group is unskilld only that I would risk myself if they seemed outmaatched) it certainly feels right that I would try to help if I saw something going on..
Alteratively I did also take tke bounty hunter backgound so it not out of the realm of possibility that I also worked with with Gorin or know Qorin passingly as another half-rc i the same "industry" so if I happened to be at the entrance of Candlekeep or nearby that might another reason I am "known" or at least wiling to intially put my behind on the line.

Let me see what the players do next, and then I may go ahead and insert both of you. Oh by the way...consider yourselves in the game :)
But depending on what they do next it might be easier to insert you in just a moment. So, let them go through another round of posting and then I shall drop you in. Uruk, it is up to you if you know of Gorion or not, as well as Qorin. Certainly could not hurt, if Qorin is not opposed. Ridel, you will have to decide if you know anyone at all, or if this will be a chance encounter in the wilderness.

I think it would be safe to say I hve a passing relationship with Gorin and by that virtue Qorin and I know each other at least by reputation (if he is game). How many half-orc bounty hunters service Candlekeep? Uruk would certainly keep track of that sort of thing but I can play that part anyway Qorin likes.

Qorin |

If I read a book where the two half-orc bounty hunters in a town this size (I'm assuming it's fairly small) had never heard of each other, I'd be pretty skeptical. Qorin and Uruk may or may not be friends, but I'd have a hard time imagining that they hadn't spent a night or two drinking together.
If they are friends, Qorin will likely tease Uruk about being a weakling, acknowledging (in a backassward way) that Uruk's proven his mettle in a tough business despite what some would see as a debilitating injury.

I've been accompanying your game thread and feel the writing quality in this group is really high! I'll have to up my game to get there, but if you guys give me a chance I promise I'll not disappoint.
I'll roll the abilities first, then will throw a couple concepts at Shadoven to see what sticks. For now, the group seems comprised of barbarian/ranger/wizard/druid/rogue, so I'm thinking a bard or cleric might fit just fine.
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 3) = 13 11
4d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 4) = 13 11
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 3, 5) = 19 16
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 4) = 18 14
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 6) = 19 18
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 3, 3) = 13 12
Wow, it's been many many years since I've rolled a natural 18!
