Alwyn strikes back with a hard chop into the ribs, making the giant bend over in pain. Then, in a shower of blood and brains, Hudak shears off the top of its head just above the eyes.

If it takes hold, she will mind-speak to them both, trying to talk two friends into stopping with the fighting and just shake hands after a misunderstanding.

Sefayll casts he spell, but the giant is stronger-willed than it looks. "Stay out of my head, witch!" it bellows.

Illes - someone take his turn, please, as Ithers hasn't been around much lately.


"Now, now... Please calm down. Even if we are in disagreement, certainly we can settle them like civilized folks?" Illes punctuates his soothing words with an instrumental flourish.

One more Charm monster, this one backed up by his Captivating Melody feat. He auto-succeeds on his skill check, Will DC 21 to resist.

The giants stop wrestling and sit up looking confused. "Hey, he's right. What are we fighting for?"

Time to think about what you want to talk to these giants about.


With Vatters and Ithers a tad sporadic these days, and Heathy gone for the time being, it's really down to the other members of the party to drive things.

So we have two charmed giants. Best bet now is to put as much distance as we can between us and them before they become violent again isn't it? What's the best way to do that?

The lesser of the spells is good for several hours. We should be able to use them as a source of information for a while. I just haven't had time to review the thread to hopefully make an intelligent post.

I'm not sure how much more useful intel we can get from them. Oh, I guess there was one question we hadn't asked...

We have the complication of one 9 hour charm vs one 10 day charm. Do you guys want to bring along the long term charm or cut them both loose? Things get complicated the more we fight his clansmen while trying to stay within the bounds of his charm but he might offer useful intel along the way. I suggest whoever we leave be in charge of burial/building a cairn/sitting up in a wake or whatever with their dead buddy.
