Sefayll moves alongside the cleric to AC36, please and casts an enchantment on the giant #2 facing Illes.

Will DC 19 to negate, gets a second attempt at the save next round

An enchantment? Which one?

HP 78/67, AC 26, T 14, FF 23, CMD 21 Performance 37/37 CHA DAMAGE: 5

Based on the save, DC and two saves required, hideous laughter.

It is Hideous Laughter. I've been trying to respond to Aubrey's post from a flaky access point. Sorry for the confusion.

Giant 2 Will save 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

The giant fails to see the funny side, though the party's wizards certainly feel they are being mocked.

Wait a second.... the bear that attacked Vethran is shown as Bear 1 on the map, yet the initiative order shows Bear 1 goes after Hudak. Is "Bear 1" on the map actually Bear 3 and you just re-tagged it? Otherwise it is going to act twice before Vethran can respond.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out, I probably got overexcited last turn. I'll change the initiative.

Hudak full on winds up, and smashes away at the giant, trying to put a shot into his lungs or heart; a neck slash would be nice as well; trying to penetrate gravelly skin with the bastard sword.

Holy...

Correction, Giant 3 down. Map updated.

Giant 1 1d100 ⇒ 81

The giant ensorcelled by Sefayll gives a sudden scream of fury and charges, its black flinty eyes focussed on the nearest person - Camlo.

G1 charges Camlo. 1d20 + 16 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 16 + 1 = 33 to hit, damage 2d8 + 12 ⇒ (2, 8) + 12 = 22

Alwyn.

Male Halfling Rogue/11 AC:26 HP: 92{92}

With a sickening crunch, Camlo flies through the air, and lands with a bump.

I'm off to "no signal" zone from this evening 'till Monday. Unless Alwyn kills the giant ;)

Atk 1 Rapier: 1d20 + 13 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 13 + 4 + 1 = 34(Inspire,Haste) DMG: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Atk 2 Rapier: 1d20 + 8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 4 + 1 = 28(Inspire,Haste) DMG: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Atk Puncing Dagger: 1d20 + 12 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 4 + 1 = 30(Inspire,Haste) DMG: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

I don't think Alwayn can flank, but if he does so, they each get 5d6+5 damage....

Extra Atk from haste: 1d20 + 15 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 15 + 4 + 1 = 33 DMG: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

I'm nowhere Giant 1, so no flanking for Camlo.

"Hudak, deal with the big fella closest to you. I gotta go save Illes." Alwyn cautiously circles around the giant before lumbering in to deliver one of his trademark big blows.

Move to AA-AB 30-31 before attacking. Attack roll 14+10-2(drunk)-2(Power attack)+6(bard stuff)+1(Haste)=AC 27, damage 3d6+7+6(bard stuff)+6(Power Attack)+4(Destructive Smite cleric ability)=35.

Camlo is up, then Illes.

Camlo inflicts a series of nasty wounds on the legs of the giant that attacked him, but not enough to take it down. Alwyn moves to defend Illes, striking his giant a mighty blow.

Illes. Camlo took his turn above.

A crowd of Illes flash Alwyn a thankful grin and whirl around darting back into danger by rushing the remaining giant facing Camlo.

Move to AJ32
Last 5' with dance/acrobatics to avoid AoO

Male Human (Varisian) Wizard (Evoker) 9

Vethran sneers at the bear snapping at his heels while casting another spell. Upon the completion of his incantation, a trio of searing rays sprouts forth from his fingers and lance into the bear's stubborn hide.

Casting scorching ray with all three rays aimed at the bear.

Touch attack #1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 to hit, 4d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 5, 5, 1) + 4 = 17 fire damage.
Touch attack #2: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 to hit, 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 2) = 12 fire damage.
Touch attack #3: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 to hit, 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 2) = 13 fire damage.

I wish rays crit on 19-20. Vethran will move to T32 and increase his elevation by 20' in the process, bringing his new altitude to 35'.

After delivering his arcane payload, the wizard sails even higher to survey the battlefield.

male Human Shoanti Fighter 10 xp 80962

I'm scared of bears though

Vethran, Perception check.

For reference, we are on round 7.

The bear roars in pain as Vethran scorches it with his fiery rays. With no giants controlling it, it reverts to primitive instincts and flees the flames.

Sefayll.

Vethran's Perception check, DC 8:

Spoiler:
A massive winged shape flies low over the sea to the west, skimming above the waves and heading towards shore. It should be over the town in seconds. It has a reptilian body with membranous wings and a long tail, beaked jaws and a curious horn projecting from its forehead. It seems to have no eyes.

If he gets 13 or more:

Spoiler:
A second, similar creature approaches from out of the glare of the rising sun to the east, flying nap-of-the-earth over the fields. It is also incoming and poised to strike at Sandpoint.

If he gets either Perception check, Knowledge (Nature) or Knowledge (Dungeoneering), DC 14:

Spoiler:
The creature is an yrthak, a blind draconic creature of rudimentary intelligence and evil temper that navigates using blindsight and can kill from a distance with sonic blasts.

Male Human (Varisian) Wizard (Evoker) 9

Perception's not his strong suit, but here goes... 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

Nature and Dungeoneering are probably the only knowledges Vethran does NOT have... :(

From his aerial vantage, he relays via message to Illes: "Some kind of eyeless winged reptile is coming from the west. I... I don't think it's a dragon, but I'm not sure what it is."

Sefayll, well aware that her magic has been of little use, leaves the final giant to the warriors and looks around and listens for other fighting. Flavor, she's delaying.

When the giant finally stood before Pharasma for judgement he could say, "It was the Mighty Hudak that slew me." And the judges nodded, for there could be no shame in it.

There to spend all eternity lamenting the fact that they brought arms against the Mighty Hudak, owner of Nualia's Tongue most sharp,......
it is a Fool's Hell.
A Fool's Hell, filled with regretfulness."

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

Where did my giant go? Did I kill him last turn?

Actually, I think I was suffering from premature elimination. OK, you can hit him now.

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

"I would have let you run and tell your buddies just how bad an idea it is to raid human lands. But no, you had to stick around." Alwyn is shaking his head as he lays into the giant. "Your death is doubly wasted - no lessons learned and no pleasure derived. Just another day at the office."

Male Halfling Rogue/11 AC:26 HP: 92{92}

"Ok, where next?"

The giant arrives beside his fellow clansman at the court of the Queen of Death. The judge raises a dusty eyebrow. "Don't tell me - the Mighty Alwyn as well?" The giant nods in mute resignation.

OK, the giant really is down now. Camlo - unless all you want to do is ask that question. Alternatively, you could delay with Sefayll.

Map updated.

Male Halfling Rogue/11 AC:26 HP: 92{92}

Can't get to any of the action, and don't really want to get ahead of myself. The question was more for me to decide what to do, but that sounds a lot like delaying, so we'll go with that!

Via the whisper link Illes says "Vethran, where are the others? Should we double back to meet up with the Sheriff?"

Realizing the extent of the warrior's wounds, Sefayll moves over to where he stands. She sings a chant quietly and lays a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm afraid my healing is not strong enough to rely on, but it is better than nothing, I suppose."

Male Halfling Rogue/11 AC:26 HP: 92{92}

"Can't remember how many bears there were, but if I see a girl with blond hair, I'm out of here." Camlo winks as he jogs along.
