A Perception check would be appropriate to check the bridge.

Camlo takes a good look over the bridge, and particularly under it. "Not sure I erm, remember coming this way, althought, I ah, was going quite fast." Camlo says as he does so.

Camlo:

Spoiler:
The bridge looks rickety and rotted, and might not support the weight of more than one person at a time.

Male Halfling Rogue/11 AC:26 HP: 92{92}

"Oh! Err, it might be best if we crossed the bridge one at a time, and possibly myself last. It looks a little on the, ah, old side." Camlo exclaims as he tugs on one of the anchor ropes.

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

"Fine. I'll go first, then." Alwyn carefully makes his way across the old wooden structure.

The Exchange

No peeking, please Rarely Accountant 2/Auditor 4/Waster 30

The bridge creaks ominously but supports Alwyn's weight as he crosses over to the other side.

Male Human (Varisian) Wizard (Evoker) 9

Seeing that the heavily armored Shoanti has crossed without incident, Vethran opts to cross second.

HP 78/67, AC 26, T 14, FF 23, CMD 21 Performance 37/37 CHA DAMAGE: 5

Illes follows after Vethran cautiously jaw clenched as the bridge creaks and groans.

One by one, the party make it across the bridge.

Perception check, DC 20:

Spoiler:
At the bottom of the chasm, the light glints off something shiny.

Camlo scurries across the bridge, seemingly oblivious to everything other than the bridge as it twists and writhes under him.

perception 1d20 ⇒ 19

That's a waste of a 19.

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

Perception 12+9=21.

While waiting for the others to cross, Alwyn spots something down in the chasm. "Something shiny down there", he grumbles, pointing into the darkness. "Does anyone want to check it out? I'd volunteer, but I'm not really dressed for that kind of adventure."

hp 87 of 87; effects active: mage armour (AC 22); gravity bow, flame arrow Female Elf Wizard (Transmuter) 6 / Ranger 1 / Eldritch Knight 4

“I see it too,” says Elisile, peering downwards. Elisile currently has darkvision, can she make out any more details? Also, how deep is the chasm – or how far down is the glint?

“I may be able to climb or fly down there.”

male Human Shoanti Fighter 10 xp 80962

"I'll do it. I'm a good good climber."

Ties a rope around his waste, assuming he thinks the rope is long enough (He's got 100 feet of rope), and Elly's darkvision doesn't betray anything too too untoward.
1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31

Hudak clambers down the fifty feet, nimble as a monkey, to the bottom of the chasm. There he finds a small shattered skeleton the size of a child, but from the accoutrements he finds it is more likely a halfling thief who died many years ago from a fall. Although most of the prospecting gear and leathers have rotted beyond use, Hudak finds two red gems and a small silvered short sword.

Hudak reaches and takes the stuff.

Climbs back up.

Hands the shortsword to our new halfling friend;
"this might come in handy.....I found the bones of somebody about your size.....sorry.....I uh,.....well he'd been down there a long time...we can get him later I suppose."

"Ah, oh, Thank You. I'm ah, sure he was no relation of mine, none out this far that I know, well, ah, except me." Camlo tails off

Continuing north?

Oh, want to Appraise the gems first?

Elisile whispers an arcance phrase, and then examines the items Hudak retrieved closely. Casts detect magic, spellcraft check if applicable: 13 + 15 = 28, appraise (untrained) for the gems: 2 + 4 = 6

Then we'll continue north.

Elisile:

Spoiler:
The sword is a +1 silvered small short sword +1. The gems are pretty.

Heading north, the passage beging to bend to the east. Another corridor branches northwest, otherwise it continues east and ends at a stone door.

male Human Shoanti Fighter 10 xp 80962

Let's give a listen at the stone door; I'll try to open it if that's the overall plan.
1d20 ⇒ 13+4=17.

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

Opening the stone door sounds good.

Hudak hears nothing in particular.

male Human Shoanti Fighter 10 xp 80962

Oh; that was my roll to open the door once somebody better equipped to do the listening gave it a try. Sorry; I was unclear.

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

In that case - Perception 11+9=20.

Alwyn presses his ear to the stone. It is hard to be sure, but from the muffled sound and the breeze around the door, he suspects this may lead outside.

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

"Sounds like this goes outside. Let's look at the other corridor first."

Heading back to the intersection, the party head north-west. The corridor ends after about ten feet in a fairly dry cavern. Its walls are carved into twenty seven-foot long, two-foot high niches. In each is a humanoid skeleton in repose, wrapped in rotting winding cloth. One of the bodies has been pulled from its niche and lies in a tangled jumble on the ground.

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

Anything inside the niche? If not, Alwyn carefully picks up the skeleton and puts it back in its proper place.

No, nothing in the niche.

Alwyn stoops to place the skeleton back in its niche. As he does so, a cold breeze sweeps through the room and a mad whispering, almost subliminal and certainly impossible to parse into individual words, begins to buzz in the ears of those present. While the physical skeleton stays in place, skeletal arms of black mist reach up from the heap of bones to claw at Alwyn's very soul.

Mwahahahaha! Roll initiative. Another fairly simple room, not very big, A to D across the top, 1 to 8 down the side. The room is at A-D/1-4 with the corridor at C/5-8 (which is longer than I described, but hey!). The skeleton and the misty arms are at A2, Alwyn is in a space somewhere next to that, and the rest of you are somewhere else in the above schema. Place yourselves and let's roll!

Knowledge (Religion), DC 17:

Spoiler:
This looks like a spectre, a vicious incorporeal undead with a touch that can wither and age its hapless victims.

Male Human (Shoanti) Cleric 11

Gack! Initiative 13+1=14. I rolled a 1 on the Knowledge (religion) check...

Camlo is still examining the new sword when the action starts, so he'll just use that, if it comes to it, rather than messing with other weapons.

Assuming nothing prevents Elisile from acting first …

Seeing the spectral arms reach up to grab Alwyn, Elisile gestures with her (currently warty, green) hand, sending a telekinetic force to lash at the arms, whilst reaching into her pack with her other hand.

Use Telekinetic Fist (ranged touch): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15, Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Move action is to retrieve a vial of holy water.

Telekinetic Fist? Where's that from? Is it a newfangled PF thing?

Ah, seen it in your write-up. As it doesn't appear to be a Force effect (unless other telekinetic spells are) it will only do half damage to an incorporeal target.

Elisile quickly summons a blast of magical energy to assail the rising undead. It seems to hit, but has little impact.

hp 87 of 87; effects active: mage armour (AC 22); gravity bow, flame arrow Female Elf Wizard (Transmuter) 6 / Ranger 1 / Eldritch Knight 4

It’s a Transmutation like Telekinesis, as opposed to an Evocation like Telekinetic Sphere (which is a force effect), so no, not force in this case. That was underwhelming then! I was thinking it would do full damage, assuming it to be an incorporeal effect (given it has no physicality), but its description doesn’t say its an incorporeal effect, so I’m probably wrong there.

Fortunately, you have an Evoker!

Vethran cuts loose with a rippling bolt of force that rips through the air and strikes the creature, despite its lack of solid form. He then draws a wand from his belt and holds it out for any able-bodied party members to take from him.

Force Missile (Evocation School Ability). Hits automatically. 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 force damage. Move action to draw my wand of magic missiles and extend it out to anyone who wants it.

Vethran's magic pulse of silver energy thumps the undead as it rises fromits wrappings - a thing of black mist and malevolence vaguely shaped like a human skeleton.
