You have died and the gods have decided for one reason or another to give you another chance. This chance is to start anew as you are with a special ability in a mystical world of monsters and adventure.

It is an Isekai game, a reference to a situation in which characters find themselves transported to an alternate dimension or universe.

Boys this is a BIG wish. Jellena got her ring of wishes from this wish. Delman got his extermination channel from this wish. The Stableboy got his venom adaptation from this wish, sure he got amnesia from a heavy hit early on.... I was waiting for someone to have a dragon come with them as their friend and ally or maybe even a god! Rgeneration like wolverine. The powers of scarlet witch.

So yes Intelligence's Edge works but it is a little underwhelming.

I'm afraid the postings aren't very informative. It takes at least one spellcaster to focus on the subject of the ritual. The alternative was a soul crystal that would manifests in the subject's hand, but you would most definitely anger the gods taking this shortcut option. It takes as much time as the spellcaster(s) need, but never less than one hour. That's about all I remember.

GM Wolf I like the soulfire as it increases my stats all pretty greatly. I don't know how we would hammer out the magic side or the heir but my wish was based on being of Apollo's abilities and power so I am happy to work through the wish for a cool outcome. Being imbued as a heir like a son of Apollo would also be neat. When gestalt comes along increasing my cha and going bard seems pretty thematic and also in my wheel house. I am not all that great looking but I am a storyteller, poet, and semi professional singer at my local ren fest lol

I'm imagining anime-style cinematic time slowing during combat as he talks (in his head) through the enemy's moves and how he should react.

I didn't think it was that powerful (mega wish?) as my main thing, being a wizard and unleashing devastating spells isn't affected much by it except for int to attack for spells that require an attack roll. Underwhelming like you said at the end. My crossbow will hit more though.

It's like paladin divine grace + duelist canny defense + permanent magus arcane accuracy + agile enchantment but for intelligence.

Have I wasted a 'mega wish' on something so boring?

All I need from my wish is that it grants the architype. However, I wished for knowledge! I can quote the wish again, let the DM do some additional interpretation. I left it intentionally open-ended so other cool effects could get added in! However, if you want I could look for other knowledge based stuff, like a couple free skill focuses, and the master craftsman feat, just off the top of my head!

So I need the wish before I gestalt to know what I can do.

How is this for the wording of my Intelligence's Edge ability? I will add a limitation to the amount of intelligence modifier I can apply if you think it's appropriate. Add full int bonus of (6)?. Add up to wizard level/HD of (4)? Add up to half wizard level/HD of (2)?

Intelligence's Edge (Ex) Your mind is lightning fast, giving you an edge in battle in both offense and defense. Add your intelligence modifier to your armour class, saving throws, attack rolls and weapon damage rolls as an insight bonus. Once per combat, you can add this insight bonus to any skill check.

I am also leveled up to level 4.


The wish has a physical form you can make it whenever you choose Niversal, there is no time limit.

Ok I want to go with the soulfire template as a chassis for being imbued with the power and abilities of Apollo and use the soulfire to imbue spells from the bard list into the bow as half elemental and half holy per soulfire description as a swift action. So that then I can swift action, move action perform, move action divine marksman first round and full action free action continue perform swift action imbue into my bow and shoot an arrow with that spell at an enemy. If you think that this wish is being of Apollo's lineage then cool. I would like however to reduce the str to +2 and make cha +6 so it's +2 str, +4 dex, +4 con, +6 cha along with the rest of the soulfire template. What do you think?

The Dark Soul Troll you guys will be fighting is a CR 13 I think... ;) Good Luck!!! Be ready to run... then again some of you might be eaten before you get that chance. You should send some fodder scouts... and watch them, when you are ready.

Divine Gift:

The character gains three greater slaying arrows. The designated creatures for each of these three arrows is gnoll, giant, and dragon. The magic of these greater slaying arrows vanishes if they are sold, but they can be given to others in trade for goods or as a gift. If a worshiper of Erastil fires one of these greater slaying arrows and misses, the arrow vanishes and a slaying arrow of the same type appears in the gifted character’s quiver. If this regular slaying arrow is then fired, only to miss its target, it has a 50% chance to be lost, as normal.
Everyone also gains 1d10+10 temporarily hp. They will stay on you until you are hurt.

Skill Acquisition: You select a feat or skill you want to develop. It tells you the seven steps to acquire it.

Required Daily Quest: 1,000 situps, 1,000 push-ups, 1,000 squats, 1,000 jumping Jack's, run 5K, time limit: 24 hours... the clock is clicking down.

Well Serill you first need to download Hero Skillz to your tablet. Right now only John and Jellena have the app and the quest. The quest does not say what the reward would be for completing the quest.

Will it be a problem that you have Apollo's blessing and become a Chosen of the Mistress' familia. Technically no.

The avatar of Apollo is a jerk and might jab at you some at social settings.

If you get another blessing from somewhere else you won't lose your 'Apollo's Blessing.'

Late post. Got home late and just had to go to bed. All good now.


Level up Information ~ Every odd level:

1. Get a divine caster to do the ritual with you.
2. Offer up a sacrifice.
3. Burn incense worth 100 gp x your new level. The ritual takes at least 4 hours. You can cut the cost by extending the rituals time.
8 hours = 1/2 cost
16 hours/whole day = 1/4 cost
etc.

The divine caster needs to know the ritual and they just need to start it which takes at most an hour. Typically only 15 minutes but if you are enlongating your ritual it applies to their preparations too.

5th level would cost 500 gp of incense with a 4 hour ritual.
5th level would cost 250 gp of incense with a 8 hour ritual.

The wish to have your wife with you could be worded so that she joins you. Though it would be problematic as you have been returned here after being in limbo for... 100 years or was it 50. I can't remember. Joe do you remember how long your soul has been floating before coming to this world?

Also should everything go right and line up correctly, then I would ask that you role play your wife and make an avatar for her. That goes for anyone. Since I don't know them, it would be up to you to play them out. I am good with playing as animals and such, if something is different than Ed should be played please let me know. Also you didn't set up Ed at all on your character sheet so I took liberties.

That was fine that you were under the impression that you had to do the level up ceremony. I totally understand why you would be under that impression.

With the knowledge that Delman relays its now up to you to make a choice of what you do. You may go with Delman as he offered for you to go with them, you may walk around New Faces, or stay in the temple.

I suppose we will deal with the wish to bring your wife to you when it is made! I know all about wishes!!! This is also one of the most powerful games I have so I have no problems with you folks doing whatever you want! XD

Spiritual Guidance (Sp)
At 3rd level, a totem guide can use guidance as a spell-like ability at will as a full-round action, targeting itself or its master. In addition, a totem guide’s master can spontaneously cast the following spells while adjacent to the totem guide by sacrificing a spell slot of equal or higher level: detect animals or plants (1st), augury (2nd), helping hand (3rd), divination (4th), commune with nature (5th), and find the path (6th). This replaces evasion.

Once per day, as a full-round action, a paladin may magically call her mount to her side. This ability is the equivalent of a spell of a level equal to one-third the paladin’s level. The mount immediately appears adjacent to the paladin. A paladin can use this ability once per day at 5th level, and one additional time per day for every 4 levels thereafter, for a total of four times per day at 17th level.

Scion Talent - Retribution (Su)
When foes dare to strike your person, which is a vessel for the divine energies that make you a godling, you can call upon those divine energies to strike down the heathens who dare defile your physical perfection. When you are hit by a melee attack, you may make a melee attack at your full attack bonus against the attacker. Alternatively, you may cast a touch or ranged touch spell with a casting time of 1 standard action or less at the attacker.
Using this ability counts against your attacks of opportunity for the round, and you cannot use it if some condition or circumstance prevents you from making attacks of opportunity. You may use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your highest ability modifier.

I appreciate the chance to get to talk a bit about some of what I have done and seen and I don't do this alot so just, thanks


Yeah it is nice to get to know each other and in most games you don't get to share yourself as a character. I do hope to have some more group talks for us to know each other better!

Maybe I wasn't as clear as I have been in other campaigns:
You absolutely need to keep a record of when you get bonuses!
So for example and ease I will provide an example.

Final, Beginning, Bonuses
STR - 13, 14, -2 Houri, +1 wish
DEX - 27, 14, +2 From Youthful Draught, +2 Mayor Statue, +4 Houri, +1 wish, +1 gestalt mixture, +2 Chosen of Death, +1 Cleaning Erastil Temple
CON - 12, 8, +2 From Youthful Draught, +1 From blessed pool in desert, +1 wish
INT - 13, 12, +1 wish
WIS - 19, 14, +2 Chosen of Death, +1 wish, +2 mayor statue
CHA - 16, +4 Houri
LCK - 18
Everyone should have the same setup. Joe needs to do it too and any original players!!!
