Since I stated Milo was waiting til the path was clear (by which he meant the fire), if he is delayed til after Tempest's turn, he would get another 3 squares of movement out of it, so I have moved him accordingly.

Hope that's fine, didn't know how close I should put him to Crove.


Mavro is the first of the pursuing heroes to turn the corner of the hallway and see Crove. The old man, badly bruised, hair and skin singed by fire, has a sadistic grin in his eyes. “Ha! You lose, you pathetic imbeciles! You are like children in the dark: blind, scared, ignorant of everything!
Crove’s hand is on a door handle. He turns it and slams the door open. Then, staring at Mavro with a creepy smile missing a tooth, he whispers and incantation and disappears.

From the dark cavern on which the door opens, hideous sounds come: a series of growls and hisses, joints popped and flesh torn, combined with uneven, arrhythmic steps coming towards the door…

Mavro, you know the square where Crove was before disappearing, and you can target it, but you still incur in the 50% miss chances.

Oh crap, I forgot where Crove actually was on the map, lol. Would anyone mind moving Mavro to an adjacent spot?

Mavro's lip twitches in annoyance, both at Crove's taunting and his subsequent disappearance. Having run out of patience, he ceases his bantering with the other old man and rushes forth, swinging his walking stick wildly at the spot where he last stood. Only after following through with his action does he notice the ominous sound past the door, baiting a crooked frown from the Pathfinder.

Power Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 1 + 1 = 17
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 48 Not sure which half is pass or fail, but I'll roll damage just in case.
Damage: 1d6 + 15 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 15 + 1 = 21

Smart move. If he moved and then cast, he should still be in that square unless he teleported or something. I moved you.

Xander rushed up behind Mavro and brought his polearm down into the space where the madman had just been.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Still woozy on his feet, Milo chases after the others-- to see them swinging at empty air. Well, he can guess what that means-- that Crove's gone invisible again.

Milo throws his handful of dust at the square, not where Mavro and Xander are swinging, but beyond it-- the other side of the opened door.

To hit AC 7: 1d20 + 9 - 2 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 9 - 2 - 4 = 18
Penalties for range and for cover,but he hits the square. If Crove is in that square, he is revealed with a faint outline for 1 round.

"...what the hell is that noise?"
