"It was fun.", Trosvod replies to Laboni before the group leaves.

In response to Arika:

"Radaszam, then Exo-Guardians. They stockpile guns. Armour is flimsy for me, any of you want it?"

Your comms all receive a message from Radaszam. <Good work supporting Laboni, I might have work for you are some point in future you show promise.>

Laboni checks her comms, by the look on her face the message clearly is a bit more mixed than the one he sent you.

<Good.>,Trosvod replies.

”It is good armor. I wouldn’t mind it.”

After a good bit of jumping with glee as their racer crossed the finish line first, Baedjrak quietly powers down his systems connecting him into the racer. No need for anyone to catch wind of their controlling the vehicle...

As Velocity thanks his for his assistance, Baedjrak smiles back, "Happy to be of assistance, was a pleasure working together. Come find me again if you are looking to do some more dealings, I might be able to do some more upgrades for you." With that, he shakes the android's hand and heads over to Leboni.

Looking up at the young starfinder, he says coolly, "If you'll be racing again, just realize you won't have us in your pit crew every time. Perhaps your duties to the Starfinder Society should take precedence, just a thought. Still though, glad we could help you make it out on top."

---

Departing with the others, Baedjrak chimes in, "I'm find with you taking the armor, you seem more the warrior type then me anyway. And the Exo-Guardians sound as good as any. Shall we get to it, then?"

”This group is getting better and better. Proficient in your tasks and generous. I’ll will strive to be the same. Let us be off.”

Garbage litters the ground around the district’s largest art park—a cement lot filled with undulating metal sculptures and covered in graffiti of grotesquely adorable creatures. The sounds of music and chatter drift over from the nearby clubs, chronically interrupted by the roar of the local gangsters’ engines. A heavily augmented host shirren is sitting on one of the park benches, eating a simple meal of cold grub-noodles and rice candy. Their antennae perk up at the tremor of approaching footsteps. <Welcome, new Starfnders! And congratulations!> the shirren’s voice telepathically projects. <My speech-name is
Zigvigix, but feel free to call me Ziggy, if that would be easier for you. Have some rice candy to celebrate your graduation! Today is your big day!>

<When you are ready, I have two assignments I could use assistance with. The frst is to help me secure a new headquarters on Absalom Station. I’ve been in talks with our station’s protectors, the Stewards, and they were kind enough to give us ownership of a warehouse here in Downlow for that purpose! The current owners no longer want it because a vicious alien took it over and kills anyone who goes inside. Once the alien is gone and the warehouse cargo has been returned to its owners, we can start installing desks and computers, so please go in and incinerate the creature!>
<My second assignment...>
Zigvigix twitches their tooth barbs for a moment and then holds out a credstick. <Please buy the brand-new Strawberry Machine Cake album, Star Sugar Heartlove!!!, which is out today, and give it to Historia-7 when you see her. She is the head of the Dataphiles, so you should meet her today! I wish to do it myself, but I... I have trouble standing for long periods of time. Thank you very much!>

"What type of Alien?" asks Arika.

<I asked that too but the owners just said the thing even attacked drones sent in s we're still fairly clueless about it. My breaks almost over but you guys seem like you can handle it."

Trosvod takes a smouldering cigar out of his mouth with one clawed hand, and snatches a fistful of rice candy with the other, shoving the latter into his maw.

Half-way through chewing it, he says:

"Cheers. Firing an alien from the place, should be no problem. Buying an album? Sure, we can visit Historia today after we're done."

Trosvod finishes chewing and sticks the cigar back into his mouth.

HP/SP: 9/8 | EAC 15 KAC 16 | Fort 4; Ref +5; Will +4 | Init +4

Arika picks up her briefcase and says "Shall we?"

”Murder followed by light shopping? What are we waiting for? Let’s go.”

Baedjrak forms a befuddled look on his face. "I get killing the dangerous alien, I mean, it needs to be done. But... why need we deliver this album... seems a little strange, am I right?"

HP/SP: 9/8 | EAC 15 KAC 16 | Fort 4; Ref +5; Will +4 | Init +4

"I'm sure there's something else going on here."

Trosvod shrugs.

"Sure. But we do it anyway."

When your group arrives at the location you can see a member of station security by a force barrier. It seems he is waiting for your group as he waves. The dwarven man starts taking out a pad. "Let me know when you're ready to go in and I'll make a breach for ye."

You can see that the front door of the warehouse is open and slightly warped seemingly having been forced open previously.

HP: 37/46; SP: 45/45 | EAC 20 KAC 22 | Fort +7; Ref +6; Will +5; +2 vs spells | Per +0|Init +5 | Move 20ft |

Trosvod lugs his reaction cannon in hand.

"Good to go."

"Nice!" The security officer lowers the barrier. "I you're not out or don't contact me in two hours... well two hours is loads of time it's not that big a place."

The warehouse ceiling is 30 feet high, and a catwalk runs 15 feet above the floor. The crates and vehicle are approximately 5 feet tall, while the cylindrical containers and the crate-filled scaffolding are 10 feet tall. A pit in the warehouse floor is 10 feet deep. The scattered junk on the floor creates an area of difficult terrain. The lights on the catwalk are not bright enough to illuminate the area, leaving the warehouse in dim light.

Map up above, let me know where you would like to look first.

A fresh cigar held in his bottom teeth, Trosvod stomps into the room, waving around his reaction cannon and looking for something unfriendly to shoot.

Perception, low-light vision: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (2) + 0 = 2

Tosvod finds no targets to smite with his heavy weapon.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Rolled nothing but 15+ on the race, and this is what I get for that

Elthaeron was going to suggest creeping in to look around, but instead he stood jaw agape (thought no one could see it) at Trosvod as the large soldier stomped around with his heavy weapon. He shook his head...causing his mask to come loose and cover his eyes. He stopped to readjust it, so that he could actually see anything.

Baedjrak had been about to suggest a subtle, stealthy entry into the warehouse... we're about to stock a dangerous monster, and that one just kicks in the door, his big old gun at the ready... typical.

Sighing, Baedjrak draws his pistol in one hand, while walking over toward what appeared to be some kind of power or control panel. As he does, Baedjrak scans the room for where the creature could be lying in wait, his eyes spending more than a moment on that hole in the ground.

Perception, w/ Darkvision: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

This is going well...

The area seems eerily still. If you hadn't been told otherwise you'd believe the area was empty now the silence is sinister.

Baedjrak finds a light switch but it only turns off the dim lighting in this area. He can see over by the hover vehicle there is some kind of control panel for maintenance of it.

HP/SP: 9/8 | EAC 15 KAC 16 | Fort 4; Ref +5; Will +4 | Init +4

Outside:

Arika finds a secluded spot and assembles her longrifle, then straps it closes her case and carries both into the building.

Inside:

Inside the warehouse, Arika moves up the stairs, then takes up a fireing position at the top, dropping prone and getting behind her rifle. Before she ascends the stairs, she stashes her empty case behind the bottom stairs.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15

Even from the vantage point the area seems still to Arika... perhaps the creature has moved on, escaped the cordon somehow? Or perhaps exception stalking and ambush skills contributed to the demise of those who came before?

HP: 37/46; SP: 45/45 | EAC 20 KAC 22 | Fort +7; Ref +6; Will +5; +2 vs spells | Per +0|Init +5 | Move 20ft |

Elthaeron snapped off a shot, shooting on muscle memory. It wasn’t going to be a direct hit, but it would at least force any intelligent creature to keep its head down.

Trosvod remains slumped. Not dead, but badly injured. And starting to twitch again.

5 rp -> 4 rp. Stabilise self.

Dying:

When your Hit Point total is 0, if you are not stable and you have no Resolve Points remaining but would lose Resolve Points for any reason, you’re dead. If you have 0 RP when you are first reduced to 0 HP, you have 1 round to be healed or stabilized. If you have not been healed or stabilized by the end of your turn on the next round, you’re dead.

Stabilise with resolve points:

If you are dying and you have enough Resolve Points, you can spend a number of Resolve Points equal to one-quarter your maximum (minimum 1 RP, maximum 3 RP) on your turn to immediately stabilize. This means you’re no longer dying, but you remain unconscious and at 0 HP. If you don’t have enough Resolve Points remaining, you cannot use this option and continue to lose Resolve Points as normal as per the dying rules.

Baedjrak holsters his pistol after the creature collapses to the ground and hurries up to their fallen comrade. Kneeling down, he sees what he can manage to do for his many wounds. "Damnit, you think you can just go and die on us that easy!!"

Unfortunately, at this level, the best I could do would've been a basic medkit, which requires a DC 25 to treat deadly wounds (a nat 19 roll for me), so I opted to spend my wealth in other ways. and as you have already stabilized yourself...

Noting the shallow breaths from the big fellow, Baedjrak smiles. "Anyone got anything to give him a jolt of adrenaline and get him on his feet?"

You can tell Trosvod is stable, he'll be up in a few minutes. After ten minutes and another resolve point he'll be back on max stamina, you don't need to do all the missions in one day either!

"<<I don't, no.>>" says Arika over the comms.

Arika does a sweep of the warehouse from the catwalk, making sure that there are no more creatures in here, then once she is positive she will collapse down her rifle and return it to the case.

"Well, let's get going." she said.

Shortly after your group gets through the perimeter more Zigvigix shows up with a few crates on a transport vehicle. Some labourers start moving in to clear out the current contents of the crate. <Nice work. Trosvod got banged about but you guys cleared it out from what I've heard. Good job.>

Zigvigix hops off the transport and lugs a crate off. <I dug out some gear as a bit of a perk for dealing with it.> Opening the crate you see a basic iridshell armour suit and two incendiary Mk I grenades as well as a credstick for each of you containing four hundred credits.

<If you guys like saving the day while punching craniums and noting idents consider joining the exo guardians, you might like it!>
