Getting frustraited with this whole case Godelina sighs and nods.
"Okey, how much for one of those wands?" she asks though she wanted to buy one at a later date. "What other magical items do you have may I ask? she was interested that there might be more magical items to buy.
"I have one with 25 charges that I am selling at a killer deal of 300gp, I also have some gloves of dexterity, A few potions that I still need to get identified, a plethora of scrolls, and..."
"Ramar, I am not sure going back there is a good idea right now. We would definitely draw a lot of attention to ourselves if we returned there again so soon. Maybe we can return this evening, when it is not so busy. Most people in town retire to their homes, so we should not attract much attention." Ushari sighs, as she is hot and thirsty, and also getting hungry. "I don't know, Ramar, it seems like we have wasted our time, with little to show for it. We should see if Edan and Lina have had better luck."
"Let's go meet up with the others. It can wait till letter." Ramar begins heading back to the Lizard.

"Okey, how much for one of those wands?" she asks though she wanted to buy one at a later date. "What other magical items do you have may I ask? she was interested that there might be more magical items to buy.
"I see. I will look up these items when I have the money, though for now, thank you for your time." she bows and smiles to her feeling that she helped all that she could atleast. Bidding her a good day she leaves the shop and decides to head to the temple. She had her blade still and couldn't go to the dancing Dryad so the lizard as that was the agreed meeting place.
At present, Edan was willing to admit that he was more thirsty than hungry, and had gotten their usual table, a large earthenware jug at its center. Three other mugs sat around the jug, while he had one more before him. He was wearing the same shirt and breeches from the day before, his holy symbol hanging around his neck. He had been there long enough to be leaning back in his seat, occasionally drinking from the mug in front of him.
Since he was by himself, he was lost in thought, turning the events of the day over in his head, and setting up a tentative plan for the next day. Of course, this was assuming that the others found nothing.. It was probably best to just wait for them. Tomorrow he was planning on visiting the various temples of the city, though. Perhaps after that, they would have a good idea of what was going on.
As she entered she immediately searched for Edan, finding her day as uneventful apart from the moment where she thought she detected evil somewhere at the museum, but she was tired and never got to see who or what that person was. As she sees Edan sitting there by himself in a day dream she smiled, walking over to him slowly and then placing the leaflet advertised at the museum of the art contest. Giving a welcoming smile she simply says.
"I thought you might be interested. Your work would be commissioned by the man in charge so everyone would get to see how talented you are." as she said this she sat down, wanting to first see what he said before telling him her findings for the day, not like there were many findings anyway and it could wait.
Ushari and Ramar arrive a little while after Godelina, giving them enough time to talk privately. Once they have been seated, Ushari helps herself to the tea Edan had provided, and says to Lina, "You look tired, did you have any luck?" She then waits for her response, and allows Ramar to explain what the two of them have found.
Edan looked up and smiled at seeing Godelina again, blushing slightly at her compliment. "I just like to draw.. I'm not that talented", he said, demurring. "How'd your day go?", he said, giving a welcoming gesturing to the jug and mugs, indicating that she help herself. "Oh", he added, trying not to look as nervous as he suddenly felt. "I do think you're beautiful also." Then he looked down at the leaflet, hoping his face was not as red as he felt it might be.
Undoubtedly, Godelina had known him long enough to see the thoughts turning in his head as he read the leaflet with no small amount of consideration. He had been kicking a few ideas around in his head, and if he managed to win-- likely a big "if", considering it was a museum-- it would be a great help to the temple, hopefully. He needed a really good idea, though. Ushari and Ramar showing up after Godelina surprised him, though he gave Ushari a smile and Ramar a nod, looking between the three of them.
"I will tell you once the others have arrived." she smiled and helped herself to a mug, pausing at what he said and blushing deeply. She managed to recover as she saw Ushari and Ramar enter. "Ah, perfect. I was about to say what I found out today. Besides the leaflet I gave him I also sense someone evil at the museum, but by the time I got to where the presence was, it was gone. I asked around at the Curio shop and found some rods of cure light wounds we could buy when we start amassing a small fortune. She did mention of a black market, but knew nothing about it. she ends, sighing and looks to the others, hoping they had more information.
"I'm glad to hear that everyone made some advances. We found the parents of the boy I met on the road. The mother denied ever knowing the boy and her home was mysteriously shut off and dark. The neighbor confirmed that the boy lived there, that the family has changed as of late, and that they are looking to adopt another child. The adoption worker was unwilling to talk to us." Ramar pauses to have a long drink of tea before continuing. "I think that there is ample evidence that something is going on in this town. We should stay together tomorrow or at least I should be the one to visit the local temples since they don't know me."
"Ramar, I think we should check out the Collins house tonight, but we should do that by ourselves...and I feel bad about not telling Lina about this, but I think she will raise a fuss if we told her our plans."
Ushari smiles at Lina, "Do you think you would want to take us back to the museum? Or would you like to talk to Tolivar first? I don't think he would get ornery with two beautiful women asking questions of him." She giggles at the thought. "Getting a local's perspective would be a good idea, I think."
She thinks for a moment, and continues, "The Dancing Dryad may have some leads as well, should the four of us make plans to go there one evening?"
"Ramar, I think we should check out the Collins house tonight, but we should do that by ourselves...and I feel bad about not telling Lina about this, but I think she will raise a fuss if we told her our plans."
Ushari smiles at Lina, "Do you think you would want to take us back to the museum? Or would you like to talk to Tolivar first? I don't think he would get ornery with two beautiful women asking questions of him." She giggles at the thought. "Getting a local's perspective would be a good idea, I think."

Ushari shakes her head, "If you run in there with swords drawn, you will scare whoever is in there away. We need to find out what is happening in there first. If the mother is evil, then slaying her won't stop whatever corrupted her to begin with. However, if the child is in there, then we can get him out, but not through force of arms."
"that sounds like a good plan Ushari. We can go tonight."
Pooring another cup of tea, Ramar continues, "Ushari is right. We need to follow the cancer back to the source. Perhaps you should head there now to see if there is something there. If so, Ushari and I should follow and see where it leads."
"I have no interest in returning to the Dryad", he said calmly. While it was a location in this city, it was not a place he wanted to enter at all. "If evidence points us there, I will go, but it is not someplace I want to enter willingly."
Looking up from the table, Edan waved a serving girl over, politely, of course. His eyes went back down to the leaflet that Godelina had brought him, then back to everyone. "I'm not going to say everyone shouldn't go, just that I do not particularly want to go." Besides, he still had to visit City Hall. Ushari did say something that confused him, though.
"Ushari, are you sure you mean Druid Tolivar? I spoke with her at the lighthouse. The druid that tends the grove is someone else.. Ferrin, she said his name was." He looked to her to see what her response was. Could he have been deceived?
"My mistake, Edan, I always get confused when it comes to the names and faces, I always seem to get them mixed up. You said the Druid who was acting angry was Ferren, i will remember that now. I can understand why you don't want to go back to the Dryad, but we don't need to go there tonight anyway. We would all have to dress up anyway. I think if we could see the dryad Kailee mentioned, that would be enough to keep us occupied."

"Well, if we havn't finished then I would like all of us to focus on that boy's home. Me and Edan could enter the back way whilst you two keep her distracted so she doesn't run. Eitherway, this seems like a good lead and we could find leads that will take us to the source." she suggested this in the hopes that they would be able to track down a major lead there.
Looking over to Edan she sees his interest in the panflet and smiles softly.
"So...any ideas on what you want to drawn to hand in?" she was ery interested in what he wanted to draw.
Edan glanced up at Godelina when she asked him about what he wanted to draw, and shrugged slightly. "I don't know yet. Probably something that can serve as a piece that can be done for the competition, and still promote the church. We are here to help them, after all."
He did raise an eyebrow at Godelina's zeal, however. "'Lina.. Are you suggesting that the two of us, in town as representatives of the church of Iomedae, unlawfully enter someone's house based only on speculation?" He frowned a bit, thinking of the trouble that it could cause. "If you can detect evil inside then yes, but..." He shook his head at her. "I just don't feel right sneaking into someone's house-- not that I know how to walk quietly."
"Yes...if I detect evil in there I will march in and break down the door." she smiles to him softly. "I know not to randomply break into people's houses who we only have a suspecion over and I won't support behavour like that neither. Don't worry, I don't wish to disgrace my goddess nor the church by breaking into people's homes and taking the law into my hands."
At the idea for something she had to wonder if they were after a theme or something at the museum. It was childish, but when she was younger, Godelina wanted to be in a beautiful paint.
"Yes...if I detect evil in there I will march in and break down the door." she smiles to him softly. "I know not to randomply break into people's houses who we only have a suspecion over and I won't support behavour like that neither. Don't worry, I don't wish to disgrace my goddess nor the church by breaking into people's homes and taking the law into my hands."

Ushari thinks for a moment, and then says, "Yeah, Lina, maybe not such a good idea to do that, since we need to figure out what she could be doing to that poor child. You can certainly come along, it would be good to have some backup along, too."
Ushari gets up from the table and gives the other waitress a hug. "Thank you for covering my shift, Ahsara, I totally forgot about it, Kailee is going to kill me one of these days!" she glances over at Ramar, and blushes slightly after Ahsara gives her a wink. "Yeah, we know why you are too busy, ha ha!"
Godelina things for a moment, not sure what to eat. She was slightly puzzled at the waitress' flustering, but paid it no attention concentraited on trying to think up what to eat.
"Hmm...I'm not entirely sure what to have, but I do feel peckish..." she looks up to Edan for help, wanting to know what there was to choose from but she'd most likely have whatever he had.
Leaning over to Edan, Godelina then says.
"Why was she flustering so much? She seemed to recognise me yet not all of you." she clearly didn't understand why the girl seemed to like her so much. She assumed it must be that word of her being a paladin were spreading or something.
After the waitress leaves, Ramar comments, "Godelina, I do not believe that the true evil is in that house. They changed when they left the church. If there is some form of compulsion or if she is a member of a cult, then perhaps we can observe and be lead to the true evil. Just to be clear, the boy that I met is not in this town; he fled from me on the road to here. No neighbor has seen him in some time. There has been no indication that there is any immediate danger. Survelance seems the best option."
After the waitress leaves, Ramar comments, "Godelina, I do not believe that the true evil is in that house. They changed when they left the church. Ahsara gave Edan more attention when he said 'we', but nodded, and looked to Ushari and Ramar. "The same for you two?"
"Yeah we can have the special, I still think they have the fish, right?" She turns to Lina, and replies, "Maybe you should talk to her after she gets off her shift, I don't know her that well, but she seems to be lonely, maybe she just needs a friend."
Edan nodded at the waitress' question, and gestured at Godelina. "We'll have whatever's on for lunch. No need for us to be picky."
Ahsara gave edan more attention when he said 'we', but nodded, and looked to Ushari and Ramar. "The same for you two?"

She shrugs not really seeing why, but smiled as she considered the waitress looking up to her and just waves over to the waitress and smiling. She turned her atttention to everyone else and thought for a moment at how to approach this.
"Even if it isn't that great of a evil I suggest if there is evil we take it prisoner for questioning. This will lead us to the greater evil, but I still wish to deal with it personally." she appeared very determined on this lead and hoped there would be other clues there.
Ushari replies to Lina, "I would not mind getting into that house again, I did see something else in that house. We can return there this evening. After lunch we can check out the Museum, if that is OK with all of you."
She notices Edan looking a bit troubled, and asks him softly, "Are you feeling OK?"
Ushari's eyes widen as she realizes she was being made fun of. "Oooohh, you think you are so funny!" She puts on a stern face, and tried to fix him with a glare, but his antics are too much for her to resist, and she starts giggling almost like hyena, it was so funny.
Over dramatizing things, Edan looks up and feigns like he is dying, speaking like he's weak. "Soooo hungry.. Must.. have... foood." It's a fight to keep the smirk off of his face, but it's dancing around his eyes, before he dramatically collapses on his side of the table.
Rolling her eyes she shakes her heat at Edan, but smiles as she kicks him in the leg.
"You shouldn't make Ushari worry." she said as she turned to Ushari and smiled "He's always being silly."
Ramar gags on his tea at Edan's antics. He catches his breath and pauses at Ushari's reaction, then joins in with her laughter. "Despite all better judgment, I like this guy." Having a sip of tea, Ramar continues, "I understand your position Godelina but I would ask that you give us time to see if she can lead us to them. If we take her prisoner with out ample evidence, then the local authorities will likely take us prisoner. Allow Ushari and I the time we need."
Rolling her eyes she shakes her heat at Edan, but smiles as she kicks him in the leg.
"You shouldn't make Ushari worry." she said as she turned to Ushari and smiled "He's always being silly."
Ushari giggles back at her, and she shoots Lina a conspiring wink of understanding. I know how I will get even with him, but I need to wait until Edan has gone somewhere so we can surprise him.
Their food arrived shortly thereafter and Edan set to it with a will. The fish was incorporated into a thick, dark stew, spiced well, along with several different types of vegetables; each of them got a roll with the hearty creation as well. It certainly satisfied, and half of his bowl was gone before the others even noticed.
He slowed down then, finally feeling better, leaning back in his chair with a satisfied smile. "Aah.. I can think again", he said with relief, grinning at everyone. "So, now that I can think and remember, what's the plan after this?"
Ushari digs in with a gusto, thankful her body won't show the effects of her appetite. In between bites of succulent fish stew, she mumbles, "Well, we can check out the museum, or maybe have a talk with that Ferrin guy."
Smiling over to Edan she just shakes her head, watching him and enjoying how much of a free spirit. She looked to Ushari and get's the message, believeing it would be fun to get revenge of Edan.
"Well I don't mind what you do. I'm not going to pull you all about."
Just as Edan finishes polishing off his bread the serving girl swings by your table again.
"Is there anything else I can get you guys? Do you want me to refill your tea?"
She keeps glancing at Lina and then catching herself staring quickly looks away only to look back again.
Looking to the serving girl, "Please refill the tea. Thank you." After she leaves, Ramar leans over to whisper in Ushari's ear, "Let's finish up and return to the house. Leave these three to have their fun." With a sly smile Ramar sits back in his seat and finishes his tea.
Ushari is caught off guard by the whisper, and for a moment, all she feels is his warm breath in her ear, which causes a pleasant tingle down her body. Once he leans back, she looks at him with a blush in her cheek, and shyly smiles back at him."Whatever you say, Ramar."
Godelina smiled to Edan though looked curiously at the waitress and being her blunt self
"Can I ask why you keep stareing my way miss?" she asks curiously as she was starting to feel a little uncomfortable with the serving girl's leering, though she was sure it was entirely innocent.
She is right in the middle of refilling Ramar's tea when you say this and jolts slightly spilling the tea, she looks completely mortified when you ask and blushes deeply.
"I am so sorry! Well you see... The things is... How can I explain..?" She stumbles over her words for a second while trying to mop up the spilled tea from the table, then she seems to pluck up her courage and says, "Well you are just so beautiful with your blond hair, and so pale, and a paladin too!"
You realize after she says this that almost everyone you have seen in town is either extremely tan from working on the docks/fishing vessels or just darker skinned from being natives of the area. This makes you a bit of a curiosity and rather exotic to the locals.
Godelina was shocked by this revelation and blushed deeply growing very red in the face. She had heard of some women liking other women in that kind of way but never saw herself as the one drawn by one of their affections and she wasn't quite sure what to say and looked to Edan with an expression of help that he would recognise from other times she was caught in social events that were alien to her.
Well that's...very nice for you to...err...say so. Err...thank you? coming out more as a question as she really wasn't sure and continued to trip over her own words too. It was a very strange situation.
Godelina blushed even more of possible at Edan's words, more so that they were coming from him than anything else. Godelina then smiled to the waitress and decided to compliment her likewise.
"You are quite beautiful yourself, dear." Godelina didn't nean to, but her awkwardness could be easily be mistaken for being interested in a similar way as she had yet to learn about suggestive tones and come ons. These were thing a temple never teaches it's young which just made Godelina more confused over her own emotions for the young and handsome cleric.
Smiling at the little episode, Ramar looks to Ushari, "Shall we be off?" Ramar stands up and pulls out Ushari's chair as she rises. Once they have gathered their things, Ramar begins to head to the boy's home.
Ushari smiles at Ramar, while praying to whoever listened to her prayers for her blush to go away. He certianly has changed overnight, I just needed to give him some time alone, I guess. She allows him to taker her arm, and ecort her out of the Lizard.
Once they have reached the streets, she turns to Ramar, and asks, "Well, Ramar, how do we want to do this, should we try to get in there , or just watch the outside for now?"
