Edan looked thoughtful as he came over and began to help Godelina undo her armor. "Anything, I suppose.." he shrugged, his hands able to undo the well-maintained straps on her side. "If I have an image in my head, I'll start to put it onto the paper, and sometimes it comes out like I see it, and sometimes it changes in the middle of me working on it-- lift your arm please." These underarm buckles were the reason he did not like the armor. It was very hard to get to them by yourself.
"How do you mean 'are there others like us'?" A thoughtful smile was given at the question, his mind thinking about the average size of the church and the members they had. "Pairs on the road, investigating wierdness?" A small crease appeared between his eyebrows, attempting to count the potential numbers. "Probably a fair bit.. We're just barely out of our training. There have got to be others that have been doing this for a while, and are far more experienced than us. Probably why we haven't seen any monsters yet."
The buckles didn't take long to remove, they were just hard to reach. "I'll feel sorry for you when we get enough money to get you full plate." He smirked at her, imagining her clad from head to toe in metal.
She nodded as Godelina listened to him talk about the drawing. She was interested in what he might be able to draw. A idea came to mind of her posing for him, fully clothed or in full armour. She felt that she would like to be drawn, but doupted he was interesting and felt it would be awkward to suggest such a thing.
Godelina laughed as he said this about the fullplate but shook her head.
"I'll be fine. I will put Iomedae's symbol drawn on my armour and her divine strength will be with me." she explained with confidence as she says this and looks over to him once her armour was finally removed. "Your turn. Shall we move to your room?" she hasn't realised it, but her cloths that she wore under her armour were of course much smaller than her armour and closer to her real figure. She just sat there with the moon reflecting off the surface of her face as she looks up at him and continued to smile. Her clothing was simple and not as eye catching as her armour would be, however just her looks were eye catching enough no matter what she'd be wearing.
Was tempted to have her ask for a drawing of herself but I don't thing she's that comfortable around him yet and she doesn't really see herself as that beautiful neither.

I am not completely sure about this, but the clothing would be a thick blend of cotton or wool, to protect from chafing, and keep the body warm. Not exactly erotic material, he he.
heh, over active imagination going on here lol. Yeah I think I'll ammend it a little.

"I guess.." Edan conceded, heading out of her room to his right next door. He took a look at his room as he walked in, and conceded that it probably could do with some picking up.. His shield was still on the rumpled bedroll that was on his cot, his pack at the foot of it. The quarterstaff he carried with him was propped in the corner to their left, on the desk that did not see much use. His whetstone, tankard, and clay jug were on his desk, while the butt of his crossbow was peeking out from under his cot. Incongruously, the case of bolts poked out from the top of his open pack.
His clerical vestments were thrown over the back of his chair, which was facing the wall for some reason, rather than the desk, and he had put his armor on over the tunic and breeches he was wearing before. "You're probably right. I should at least organize my room a bit.. Compared to yours, it is messy, isn't it?" Her clothed state was something he was getting used to, much to his relief.
Usually there's a padded tunic or thick clothes that go with the armor, which I imagine will attain an interesting odor without regular maintenance.. It can be worn without pads, but would become uncomfortable after a short while, I suspect.

Yeah good pint she should be wearing that as she'd want to wear her armour at all times.
She smiled as she said this about the room and she shook her head.
"It's your room, but it would be painful if you stepped on something sharp." she continued with opening up the armour, undoing the armour to let it come free from his body. "What shall we do as we wait for the other two? I enjoy our talk about life in the temple." she smiled as it was true and fun as she had never been able to talk to anyone before about her life at the temple. She felt very relaxed as she talked to him about this.
A thought then came to mind after she got the last buckle at the back removed.
"Do you trust Ushari?" she asked looking at him curiously "What do you think of that Ramar too?" she wanted to know what his opinion was of the two of them. Godelina trusted Ushari but this newcomer she wasn't too certain of. She trusted Edan very well from all this time they've spent together and wanted his honest opinion of them.

After they find a place to eat, Ushari guides Ramar to the Inn DM insert name here nearest to the Temple of Iomedae. She asks him to escort her to the temple first, so she can see Lina and Edan. Once he has guided her there, she waits for him to say goodbye, then she will enter the temple and look for Edan and Lina.
"I just wanted to say Ramar, you were a perfect gentleman, and I do appreciate that, I really do." She gives Ramar a chaste kiss on the cheek, and says, "Good night, Ramar. We will all be at the Lizard tomorrow, you can meet us there."

He tried not to look like him stepping on something was not something that had already happened, giving a sheepish chuckle. "Yea, it would be my fault, wouldn't it?" This morning, he had stepped on his beltbuckle when he woke up. It certainly did away with the morning's grogginess for certain. "Ushari, I trust. She's our age, and is doing better than some of the others I've seen, she's just trying to get over what bothers her." He continued speaking, pulling his armor off and setting it against his pack. "Ramar, I'm not sure of yet. I've never heard of the powers he's shown, outside of deities, and we don't know anything of his history. He doesn't seem bad, though."
The thick wool tunic that the armor went over was discarded atop his shield, and he stretched with a relieved look on his face. "Aaaaahhh.. Much better." Rolling his shoulders, he looked at Godelina. "I don't know about you, but I'm thinking about going to see if there's anything left over in the kitchen, and if you want, we can talk about anything." Ushering her out of his room and shutting the door, he made his way to the kitchen.

Godelina smiled as she listened to him laugh. There was just something about his laughter that made her smile. He continued to listen and nodded, listening to what he said about the two. She agreed about Ushari as she knew what was bothering her and about Ramar was also true. He had very strange abilities that she had never heard of. She was unvertain as she was told both enemies and allies can have powers that might be new to this world.
Godelina watched him roll his shoulders and had a idea of massarging him, but she blushed at the idea feeling that it was a bit too imtimate for her to do something like that. His suggestion was met with a nod and a smile.
"Yes, sounds like a good idea. Let's go sit down and have a meal, just the two of us." as she said this she smiled softly to him and followed him down the stairs, deciding there was no point in changing into her clerical robes as they were only heading to the kitchen and not for prayer.

Ushari approaches the night watchman, Edrol, who has been guarding the temple at night for as long as she has been visiting here. When he sees her walk up to him, wearing the dress which accentuates her body, he stares at her, which has the effect of causing a blush to break out on her face. Fighting it down, she asks him if Goldelina and Edan have returned yet. Getting an affirmative response, she enters the temple looking for them, and finally locates then in the kitchen, getting a midnight snack it seems. She walks over to them and asks, "How did things go this evening?"

Godelina sighed as she had hoped to have the private evening with Edan, though she didn't know why she was so disappointed and smiled as she turned to face Ushari.
"Not good. Far too late to be looking for answers. We went to the shop and the woman was just closing, being slightly lippy with Edan and the bouncers outside the dancing Dryad wouldn't let us in as we were." she sighed heavily and rolled her eyes. Ushari looks up at the golden haired lady, and thinks she saw some disappointment in her eyes, and wonders if Edan had something to do with it. "Well, Ramar declined to stick around me. I suspect he was just looking for an excuse to leave me behind as soon as he could!" The last came out with a note of...frustration. "After I pretty myself up for him too. He was more interested in his own thing!" Ushari wondered why she was close to tears. "We didn't find anything either. He said he wanted to see us again in the morning."

"I think he's just new in town and perhaps he wants to do is own thing. We don't know much about him." she smiled as she placed a hand on Ushari's shoulder sympathetically when she saw that it looked like she was close to tears. Godelina didn't know where she was getting this compulsion of compassion from, but she was sure that it would make her feel a little better. "I think you look beautiful in that dress. I doupt I could pull it off." she entertained the idea in her head and she really couldn't see herself wearing a dress or even being able to manouver in it very well.| Edan Crosier |
Edan only waved when she came in, his mouth too full of bread and soup to say anything. He tilted his head at her expression, and raised an eyebrow at her. It was a few seconds before his mouth was clear enough to speak. "You would rather he be more interested in you?"
He was not one to say what she could or could not do, he was just curious. Women were such uncertain creatures to begin with, what with their tears and crying for seemingly no reason.. Right now, he though Ushari was annoyed because Ramar paid her little attention, he guessed, but then again, she was talking to 'Lina, and they talked earlier, so it might be something else.. Unless she was disappointed that she looked nice? Confused, he just shook his head and took another bite of bread and mouthful of soup, drinking it from the bowl.
"Mm", he attempted to say, momentarily forgetting his mouth was full. "..Mnm... I mean, 'where is he staying'?" He thought Ushari looked nice in the dress as well, but she was not asking his opinion, and for some reason, he thought he was better off saying nothing.

Ramar is staying at the Wicker Goat, you have all passed it during your stay here since it is quite close to the Temple.
A drooping wicker goat hangs above the main entrance of the wooden building, its belly long since fallen into disrepair and allowing a family of pigeons to nest inside. The Wicker Goat is one of the oldest buildings in Saltmarsh and is certainly its oldest tavern. It’s literally the first building travelers from the east see upon entering the city. Because of this prices at the Wicker Goat are a bit high. Generally, road-weary travelers don’t mind, but the locals tend to prefer the taverns closer to the heart of the city. The Wicker Goat serves a wide variety of ale, mead, and even some wine.

Ushari looked at Godelina and nods at her words. "I suppose you are right, I mean he is new in town, and he was a perfect gentleman, and maybe I was hoping he would sweep me off my feet! Silly isn't it? I guess he wasn't interested in me like that. He wanted to find a place to stay, even before we had dinner! OH why do I even want such a thing?!" She blushes at Godelina's compliment, and replies, "Thank you, 'Lina. And I think you would look beautiful in a dress like mine. You just need some practice, I think." She turns to Edan, He said he would stay at the inn across the street, I forget the name." She gazes at Edan for a moment, "Don't you think Godelina would look beautiful in a dress like this, Edan?'

"I don't know much of what you were expecting...he only met you today and how much did he learn about you? I have no knowledge of this kind of thing, but you have to be patient I believe, especially with one like him." she giggled, having this secret joke with her and Edan as only they were touched by his mind and she didn't want to scare Ushari since she wanted everyone to trust one another if they were to get to the bottom of this.
At the question about when Ushari asked Edan if she would look beautiful in a dress she looked ot Edan, shyly as she was afraid of what he might say. What if he agreed? Did that mean he only liked the idea of her being dressed like a woman or something more? If he didn't did that mean he would perfer to see her dressed like this or something else? She was a little afraid of the reaction, but years of submerging emotions she had grown used to it.

Thankfully a full mouth gave him a few seconds to figure out what he was going to say, his eyes widening slightly as they went from Ushari to Godelina and back. That did not keep his face from reddening slightly, though. "I don't know", he said, shrugging. "I'm used to seeing her in armor, really." He did look her over once or twice though, before he realized that he was probably staring, and set his eyes back to his bowl. "Erm, I mean, probably? You women always look nice in dresses, don't you?"
Edan realized that he was probably making no sense, so he took a big bite of bread and began chewing, his face practically flaming now, keeping his attention on the last of the soup in his bowl. He did glance up once or twice to see if they were still watching him, though.

Ohhhh...if my character was a Sultry type of woman she'd be all like "Oh? I thought you had a different reaction earlier? something like 'By the Inheritor, yes!' " *grins* but of course things like that just fly over this paladin's head.
Looking at him after he was quite she shook her head not quite understanding him. She swore he said something in the positive on the subject earlier, however he was now denying it, but she didn't wish to probe him. Men were strange creatures who appeared to change their minds when under pressure. He appeared to be acting strangly though and just shrugged as she looked at Ushari, not knowing what to make of the scene.
"Well I guess we'll never know." she smiled, a little confused, but then moving to sit directly opposite Edan as she joined in the meal, feeling hungry and wanting to fill up before heading to bed for the night. She wanted to talk a bit more with Ushari and offered her a seat next to her so that she could join them.
Ushari Velnokal
Ushari takes the proffered seat and helps herself to some soup ,and bread. SHe looks over at the two friends, now her best friends here, and knows full well why Edan is so uncomfortable. She feels a little disappointed she had not met Edan first because he was a good man, just his heart was already claimed. She gives Lina a wink, and says, in between bites, "No, Edan has no way of knowing, right?"
Edan Crosier
He narrowed his eyes at Ushari, suspecting that she was up to something, but exactly what, he was unsure of. The last of his soup he drank and nibbled on the end of his piece of bread. It was not going to last, he knew, but at least he could spare himself having to talk until then. Godelina, he was comfortable around, since they had been travelling together, and then been here for a another week after that. Ushari he trusted, but whatever it was she was doing now, he did not.
"Why does my opinion matter, anyway?", he ventured, figuring he was not going to come out ahead in a discussion concerning dresses. "You wouldn't wear one just because I said so." Picturing either of the two of them in a dress and armor was a bit ridiculous. "I'm not sure there's armor to go over a dress, either."

Godelina crossed her arms as she looked at him when he said this. She wasn't sure why she was mad at him, she just was. Why didn't he care? What was wrong with him?
"We'd atleast like a compliment or input or...or something." she stammered not sure how to explain it and not even understanding these feelings herself. She just shook her head and put her face down and began eating, looking like she was eating a little bit too eagerly. "Well. This maybe promising. *sigh* Better than sleeping in a ditch." Walking up to the inkeeper, "Hello my good master, I would like a private room with a bed and a lock on the door. How much will that be?"
Edan Crosier
Edan just set his head in his hands, shaking it back and forth as if he could not believe what was going on. Ushari was not making things any easier, but he had a feeling she knew that. "You women know you look good in dresses. You know when men stare at you and you complain because the one you want to look at you doesn't!" He still had not lifted his head from his hands, and was getting annoyed. "You want to know the truth?" He lifted his head and frowned at the both of them, upset.
"All men want you. And it isn't all 'want' like princes and fairytales." He turned his eyes to Ushari. "You know that. You said you thought about getting a job at the Dryad, right?" He heaved a sigh, and stood up, taking his bowl to where they put the dishes. "Look, you look beautiful. The both of you do. Wearing a dress won't change that, it will just make it more evident." Exasperated, he ran his hands through his hair and returned to his seat across from them.
Ushari Velnokal
Ushari's intuition picked up the subtle and not so subtle changes in Godelina's mannerisms and body language. sh ecould tell she was upset at Edan for not complimenting her. She had not known them very long, but she could tell there was an underlying current running between the two. She wondered if it was something akin to love. When she had been with Gerold, he would act the same way towards her at times. Though she hated thinking about him, she knew from talking to 'Lina before, he only had power over her if she let him have it.
On hearing Edan's outburst, she stares flummoxed at him, wondering what he meant by that. When his meaning becomes clear, she blushes furiously, and looks at Edan, "I was told I would be good at it, that doesn't make me a harlot. You make it sound like it's a bad thing to be beautiful. Well, maybe it is, I don't know. I think I am beautiful, but has it brought me love? NO!" Ushari is close to tears again.
Once Godelina has finished eating, she asks the young lady, Would it be OK if I spent the night here in your room? I can take my usual spot." She takes a hold of her hand and whispers, "If you want to talk about it, just let me know."

"Well. This maybe promising. *sigh* Better than sleeping in a ditch." Walking up to the inkeeper, "Hello my good master, I would like a private room with a bed and a lock on the door. How much will that be?"
The tall muscular human eyes you up and down for a second and then spits into a can on the edge of the bar. "Normal room is 3 gold, 4 if you want one with a lock."
Godelina Evelyn
Godelina was surprised by Edan's sudden eruption and had no idea what his problem was. He seemed very tense and now she was wondering if she should've given him just a little massarge on the shoulders and help him untense.
She looked over at Ushari and even though she wouldn't approve, Ushari had a good point and bit her lip knowing that she couldn't really say anything. It wasn't a life she'd choose, but as Ushari pointed out it didn't bring her love and Godelina put a arm around her shoulder to comfort her before looking up at Edan giving him a scowl. She returned her gaze to Ushari as she felt her take her hand and ask to stay in her room. Godelina found no problem with that so she smiled and nodded.
"Yes, you're always welcome to stay with me in my chambers."
I really don't envy Edan lol.
Ushari Velnokal
Ushari blinks the tears out of her eyes, wondering why Edan had to be so hurtful. Then again a part of her already knew why, sh supposed. She wanted to give him a hug and make him feel better, but she knew that would be the last thing he needed right now. She looks over to Edan, "I'm sorry Edan for teasing you like that, I know you think it is wrong for women to do that, and I should not have done it. I just want to know what it is like to be loved, I wish I could take it all back." She feels tears wanting to flow again, and blinks them away. She comes over to Edan and takes his hand in hers, "You are a good man Edan, I know everyone sees it too." she then releases his hand and walks to 'Lina upstairs to her room.
Edan Crosier
Rather than attempt to extricate himself from whatever situation that this had become, it was probably better if he just left. When Godelina scowled at him, he just raised his hands in surrender and was getting ready to leave the table to go back to his room. He liked Ushari, but this was the second time in talking to her that she had threatened tears. He did not think that she was faking it, but talking to her was going to be difficult if she was going to get upset and threaten tears every time there was a man involved.
Then she goes and apologizes for what she did, making him feel like a heel for what he was thinking. All this confusion was more than he wanted from a comfortable supper and decent company before going to bed. He gave the two of them enough time to head upstairs before leaving to return to his room. Once his door closed, he moved his shield and belt to the floor, and tossed his clothes to hang over the chair before blowing out the candle and attempting to settle his thoughts enough to sleep.
Godelina Evelyn
once upstairs she sat down with Ushari and smiled towards her as she got undressed feeling comfortable around the female, though still being shy in her doing so.
"So, what's been bothering you? Ramar seeming cold or Edan's cheek." she rolled her eyes. Sometimes it was like travelling with a kid. She put on her clerical robe which she often wore before going to sleep and sat back down on the bed near Ushari. "You're a catch for anyone, Ushari. I still don't understand why you wanted to work at the Dancing Dryad, but that is not my concern it's just...I believe you would do better and who knows, before you notice Ramar might scoop you up in his arms and carry you away." she laughed, though sighed as a image of Edan came into her mind, but she shook the image away.

She smiles slightly as she hears about wanting him to sweep her off her feet. It was cute and innocent. She then looked over to her seriously.
"Not all men are the same." Godelina wasn't sure exactly want to say, but she had a rough idea "It sounds like this Gerold wanted to paint you up and parade you around like a doll. I remember my mother telling me once that if I did meet someone who loved me he would love me for who I was and not what I wore." as she said this she was starting to wonder what Edan really felt and if what he said was along those lines, but again she dismissed the thought, staying more focued on Ushari. "Give it some time and get to know him as a person. That way I'm sure you'll both find each other. But anyway, do you want the bed and I'll take my bed roll?"| Ushari Velnokal |
Ushari nods at Godelina, "That is why I like you so much 'Lina, you always give good advice. I think you are right about gerold. He always wanted me to dress up for him, and I don't think Ramar was impressed by that. Although to be honest, I do like looking pretty, sometimes." She giggles at 'Lina, her good humor restored.
She gives a tired yawn, now realizing how late it is now. She starts removing her dress and changing into a cotton nightgown she had left there earlier. "I will take the bedroll, I mean, this is your room, and I feel bad about imposing on you like this all the time."

"It's fine. I'm used to laying on floor and I'm sure you'd perfer a bed tonight." she smiles as she looked to her and wondering if they would always argue over who was nicer as they often did which was often quite funny. "I hope we find out something. It's irritating hanging around and doing nothing. I need to cut down something evil." she layed back and when she thought Ushari wasn't looking, she starred over at the wall that connected to Edan's room, wondering what was going on in his head before going to sleep.
Ramar
Ramar wrote:"Well. This maybe promising. *sigh* Better than sleeping in a ditch." Walking up to the inkeeper, "Hello my good master, I would like a private room with a bed and a lock on the door. How much will that be?"The tall muscular human eyes you up and down for a second and then spits into a can on the edge of the bar. "Normal room is 3 gold, 4 if you want one with a lock."
"Is that rate by the week or month? Here's the four sovereigns. My key please." Ramar goes to his room to sleep the night away. May I go one night without the dreams.
sleep night away, awaken in morning, meditate, dress, eat, and find the others.

You all drift to sleep and make it through the night without any interruptions.
The dawn brightens over Saltmarsh warming and waking the city and the people begin their daily routines. Merchants open their shops, people shout greetings to one another across waking streets. (think of it as Friday, I am not sure about the names of Pathfinder week yet)
I heard a couple ideas out of you guys as to who/what you were going to question today. Are you going to investigate other churches, Talk to the head of the chapel, talk to the people who no longer go to the church, or some combination of the above?

Ushari wakes up from her restless dreams, and at first is not sure where she is. The she looks over and sees the stiiring form of Godelina laying next to the bed in her caming bedroll. She stretches and yawns silently, so as not to wake her, but she knew Lina was an early riser. Must be a requirement for being a holy warrior. She thinks. She slips out of the bed, and shuffles quietly to the privvy to freshen up, and get dressed. She noticed the only clothes she had was the blue dress from yesterday. Wearing it brought a shudder of recollection of last nights events, so she decides to borrow on of Lina's old shirts and a pair of pants, nothing fancy, like Lina.
She waits for Lina to finish waking up before greeting her, "Good morning!"
Ramar
Ramar awakens and before dressing performs his sword forms. Once he is finished and drenched with sweat, he feels replenished. Cleaning and dressing, his thoughts move to his plans today. First, to the inn. Second, meet up with my new friends. Last, find the evil. ..... Yeah, that should be easy enough."
Ramar locks his door and proceeds downstairs. Grabbing a quick bite, Ramar runs to the inn to find his friends.

In the adjacent room, Edan was kneeling, already into the beginning of the morning hour of prayer. It was the one time that his mind was not chasing threads and following tangents, and he did dearly need that peace. The prayer itself was rote to him, and it would not surprise him if he could recite it in his sleep. Ever since he was young, it has helped him, however. His focus was on the wooden symbol of Iomedae that hung 'round his neck, keeping his attention on it as he let his mind settle.
After the morning prayer was done, he pulled on his breeches and heads out to wash up, another of the things that the church put much importance on. The hot water, he absolutely loved, when it was able to be had, truly a luxury. He did not have quite the mount of clothes that Godelina had, so he pulled on the same shirt and breeches he had from the day before. Today, they had to go check around with the shops and churches while it was still light, and he could talk to Senior Priestess Lyra today after morning meal.
Exiting his room, he scratched lightly on 'Lina's door, wondering if she was up yet, though he never chastised her for enjoying her sleep. He knew that with all the expectations she carried, a little extra sleep was the least that he could do for her.
Ushari Velnokal
Ushari hears the scratching at the door, and hurriedly finishes buttoning one of Lina's shirts before opening the door. She sees Edan looking at her, and she quickly ushers him inside. "Good morning, Edan! I hope you had a good night's sleep!" She looks over at Lina, who stirred slightly, but did not want to wake up, apparently not yet anyway.
Edan Crosier
Edan allowed himself to be ushered in, and though he was awake, that did not mean that all of him was awake. "Hey 'shari", he said softly, glancing from her to Godelina, unable to help the soft smile that crept onto his face at seeing her sleeping form. Looking back at her, he noticed that she had on Godelina's clothes, and flushed slightly, finding that this early in the morning, courage was something he had in abundance. "You look beautiful this morning too", he said with a tiny grin. "Gonna let her sleep and get some breakfast. Coming?"
It would not surprise him to have her wake up some time after they had left, but there was the morning prayer and washing to do, so while she might sleep late, he would save her some breakfast.
Godelina Evelyn
Godelina then opens her eyes, smiling as she was listening in on the conversation. Streaching after they left she got up, praying like Edan had and concentraiting on her dedication, taking her sword in hand and focusing her Prayer through the sword like Iomedae. Once done she got dressed out of her old cloths and into the new ones, heading downstairs with her sword by her side and hanging from the belt that would normally be on her armour, but she didn't wish to carry it all the way and smiled down at the two as she entered with her sword at her side.
"Everyone had a good sleep?" she asks sitting across from Edan and resting her elbows on the table, sighing as she had only just gotten up this morning and needed to shake away the sleepyness. She wouldn't reveal it, but last night godelina was dreaming of being in Edan's arms and as she looked at him she blushed slightly as he was dressed in a similar way."I...well I slept well last night, but what are our plans for today?"
Ushari Velnokal
While eating breakfast, she could not help but think about how she was called beautiful earlier. It really meant something more special to her, coming from Edan, than it would coming from Gerold, or someone like that. Maybe the only thing that matters is who thinks I am beautiful.
Ushari smiles at her friend Lina, and says to her, "I tols Ramar last night we would all meet at the Lizard Boat this morning. I don't know how late of a sleeper he is," stifling a giggle, "But I think we have time before he gets there. Also I will need to ask for another day off, to help you out with this."
Edan Crosier
Edan pushed the plate of breakfast over to the sleepyhead with a smile. "I slept well, thank you." He had since finished his breakfast and only had a mug in front of him, that he was sipping from occasionally while he had been talking with Ushari.
When they had come down, the majority of the church was in attendance. Seven of the nine clerics were here, the other two eldest attending to some business of theirs. Ushari was immediately the subject of everyone's attention, walking in on Edan's arm like she had, and the two were immediately subject to some good natured teasing. There was an envious look or two, and comments that ranged from, "You had best hope the Senior Priests don't catch you", to "Wow, you two must be quiet as churchmice, I didn't hear a thing last night!"
"Our plans are to check the places we could not last night", he said. "I'm going to talk with our senior Priests, and see what I can learn about the town, and learn who keeps the records, to talk with them. We still have to check the various temples, and ask around the shops about anyone noticing if people have been losing their tempers more often."

Godelina hadn't heard what the others said about the two of them or otherwise she would be scowling. She started on her breakfast as she listened to Edan, nodding her head as he was saying their plans.
"Sounds like a good start. I'd like to find out what has been leaving this temple to go into disrepair. If I wasn't here on a mission I would go out there cleaning the walls and expect you to join me, Edan." she gave a coy smile but then streached, remembering that she often did the cleaning too when she was young. "I'm glad I came here with you, Edan. I wouldn't have made as many friends otherwise." she nodded towards Ushari, refering to her as the friend.
