The dedication of one's self takes many forms. In Edan's case, his was a pilgrimage from Monmurg, his home. It was difficult to walk in the footsteps of a Deity, if one was not themselves possessed of any divine rank, however. Presently, he was attempting to understand Berna's mindset from Meyanok's orders forward, which meant that he was going to have to understand the concept of hatred, and the motivation that fueled vendettas. To that end, he set out on the path of understanding- to grasp hatred without letting it tarnish him, to understand a vendetta without pursuing it to the point of self-destruction. To balance the negativity of that path, he has emulated the method of his Deity's conversion under Xanag, apprenticing himself to a blacksmith to learn how to work with beautiful metals as tribute once his time as an acolyte was complete.

He began exploring the concept of hatred by focusing it on his ignorance, expanding his education as much as he could. Learning more, he let it develop into a vendetta against ignorance, and that gained the attention and favor of an elder priest of Zagyg by the name of Culvern, who nurtured his talent, finding humor in his approach to faith. The vendetta began to pull him out of his studies out into the world to instruct where and how he could, discovering more about himself in the process. It was the elder priest that cautioned against letting his vendetta drive him into zealotry. Taking heed, Edan decided to pull attention away from his vendetta by apprenticing himself to a master crafter, and devoted himself to the pursuit of producing beauty from metal.

Appearance and Personality:

His hair was short, like black wool, that accompained by the darkness of his skin put his heritage as directly Touv, if perhaps one step away. There was a focus of a fervor in his eyes when he was engaged, whether a discussion or action that he kept muted, but that often made his honest smiles a little off-putting. His manner was jovial, in the relaxed way that capability provided a sense of surety. His craft continued to develop his body, cording muscles used to the rhythm of the forge, and marking his skin with the signs of such. His tastes in clothing were also indicative of his heritage and occupation, favoring light clothing that did not restrict movement or hold heat well, the only heavy item being the forge's protective leather apron.
