I'm thinking it may be the continued issue with the site, a lot of posts do seem to be getting swallowed of late in other games im in.

Hey guys, just an FYI, the large demon your fighting, the Shemhaizian, is a CR16. Its a boss in Wrath of the Rightous. We are NOT fighting through that in the amount of time we have.

Sihir, a wall to block line-of-sight would probably be a better usage of an illusion.

And when you're the party Illusionist, you can go that route.

I don't think it cares about eating them, just destroying and desecrating joy, beauty, and innocence.

I know it's a high CR creature. Herodotus though does not. I did mention that I would attack the small fry first because Ollystra told us to focus on the weapon and she was doing fine till now.

Also I believe we have 3 of those crystals. One at 0, one at 4, and one at 8. Who has what though is an excellent question.

I know I have the full crystal that Fatima dropped at the door. I do not know of the others.

Things have been very busy with me for the time being. I will try to make an update tonight. DM you are more than welcome to BOT me, I will simply be doing what I can to kill the demon on the console, and then defend it.

The Mesmerist's stare says it can't be avoided like a gaze attack, and you can even perform it while blinded, which suggests you don't need to make eye contact. My reading is that you could still stare at the demon while avoiding its eyes.

After some thought and thinking about it - I'm going to allow it with the DC 20 concentration check, since that's what would be needed to stare while blinded.

You were a great group to run for. Vinnie, I'm going to be telling the story of the mesmerist that told a shemhazian to go to sleep for quite some time (and expect a note on your chronicle sheet about this!). Sihir, I liked your creativity and use of illusion spells. Herodotus, I know I didn't mention this in-game, but I love how you RP Gamin's personality.

I hope that you all had as much fun playing this as I had running it (even though that last fight can be challenging). As always, if you have any feedback - please let me know. I'm somewhat new to PbP gming for PFS and I want to make my games even more fun and engaging.

And did I mention I am now level 7? And you know what that means for me: shadow conjuration and phantasmal killer!!!

Herodotus - the shemhazian was a CR 16, so yes. You did do that. The abrikandilu were also in the CR 7ish range (I can look it up exactly).
