Interesting plots for a future AP that I would love to see:
- Rescuing Nex from a vengeful Count Ranalc
- Freeing one of the good Elemental Lords
- Preventing the invasion of Treerazer in Kyonin
- Fighting the cult of Rovagug and a spawn
- Defeating Daralathyxl (fighting his minions) or Aashaq (fighting Dahak's cult)
- Battle against aliens and their invading arm (why not?) :D
- Stopping one of the Daemonic Harbingers

I also like the Journey to the Center of Golarion idea. Tons of cool pulp stuff to drawn from there and the Underdark is just fun.
Geb seems like it could provide some fun adventures. Being so close to the Mana Wastes could let PF do a lil Fallout style gaming too.
But Arcadia is where all the cool kids want to go.

Mana Wastes should definately be a lot more Fallout style and less steampunk. Probably somebody gonna argue there again it doesn´t exclude each other, but i only say: not pseudo victorian era dapper.
It also comes to a part of D&D/Pathfinder i always diskliked. When in a world of magic suddenly gnomes or dwarves come along with early industrial era machines although they are perfectly capable of magic and have literaly no reason to have those machines. Breaks immersion and world logic for me.
At least that´s done a lot better in the Mana Wastes with magic not working or working right at least.
What i could see working though are some low-tech shenanigans in Tian Xia. The chinese have awesome ancient examples there. So do the romans though. Environment, buildings and landscapes are something that should play a larger role anyway i think. Of course many things are later on easily solved by magic, but people struggeled with those over times untill recently and they make up for atmosphere.

Would love to see a couple of APs where the authors would use content from all the rulebooks (core, advanced, and ultimate) to create NPCs. Tired of seeing the NPCs with the same options. NPCs should be able to keep up with the PCs in their available options to feats, spells, and abilities.
To quote someone I knew long ago, "Bad guys always have a better Union!"

In this order:
1. Rahadoum - We need some realm of Men madness with anti-religion enforcers and a cult that threatens the very structure of the country itself and belief system.
2. Galt - A true revolutionary module dealing with the duplicity, Vigilanties, Grey Gardeners and a would be council that wants to shape Galt into it's own virtual realm of chaos and destruction.
3. Arcadia - Finally, exploring a small part of a continent that promises of unique realms, tribes, and some new class archetypes.
4. Geb - Finally, the empire of the dead rises to try and crush Nex once and for all and become the true power in the south.
5. Southern Garund - Dinosaurs and serpent people oh my!

With War for the Crown announced for early 2018, and it being another AP set in Avistan, I hope the AP following will be another journy to Garund... the side trek in Strange Aeons does not fill in the fact that it has been a while.
Personally crossing my fingers for Thuvia, Nex, or my personal #1 choice, Rahadoum.

Well, I'm hoping that second AP of the year is related to how Osirion's doomsday clocks tick down to year 4718... So maybe we will get both what we want somewhat at least :D

Forgot about that! Hmmm, an Invasion by the Dominion of the Black, starting in Osirion would be fun. Does not actually have to be an Osirion AP, can actually jump around a lot, but the clocks hitting 0 and the Dominion showing up would be really cool...

So here is my pitch with some working titles.
Screams in Nocturne or Midnight Plague
There are numerous reports of a strange magical affliction affecting the people throughout Avistan. The malady has no rhyme or reason as peasant and noble alike have become infected. The disease begins with a loss of color in the eye, and progresses with a fading of their shadow and continues as they steadily get weaker becoming translucent until they fade away completely. The source of the disease is rumored to be in the lands of Nidal, where the Midnight Lord reigns supreme.
Can you discover what has caused this affliction before it is too late or find a way to stop it or will you become permanent residents in the lands of shadows.
Assault of the Shadowlords
Paraphilias, The High Flagellator of Zon-Kuthon, Supreme Nocturne of Ridwan has made a call to expand the reach of the Midnight Lord throughout Avistan. Shadowy agents maim, torture and kill in a race to find a holy relic that will usher in a new age of darkness. Stop the cruel machinations of fanatics and their twisted leader before all of Golarion falls in shadows.

An AP that utilizes the entire world including the Darklands, takes 12 issues to complete instead of 6, utilizes a wide cross section of the rules as ckdragons mentions, has as suitably long/epic story that takes a lot of time and investigation to develop/reveal, goes to level 20, and level 20 is gained at the end of issue 11. Not Mythic unless the rules are re-adjusted. Call it "Year of Golarion" or something.

No dice, because that would be a lost sale on anybody who already struggles to run a 6-installment AP in entirety without The Real Life blowing up the gaming group somewhere along the way. And that's quite a lot of people.

What I'd like to see:
Kingdom of Death: In his eternal madness, the ghost necromancer king Geb has unleashed the full-might of his kingdom of death upon all of Garund. Colossal necromantic war machines comprised of screaming corpses are pulled by zombie giants while graveknight and vampire generals lead hosts of corporeal and spectral undead upon the nations of the Inner Sea's southern continent. The assault is such that the City of Nex itself is besieged! Only the mysterious matriarchy of Holomog seems to be having luck repelling the undead legions. When Arazni causes a magical mishap while attempting to manipulate the dimensional forces of the empyreal nation of warrior women, she inadvertently empowers the heroes with mythic potential! Now chosen by divine mandate as the heroes of Holomog, the party must rally the armies of the surviving kingdoms of Garund, secure an alliance with Old-Mage Jatembe and his the Ten Magic Warriors, and put down for good a threat to the Inner Sea that is nearly equal to the Whispering Tyrant!
The Aucturn Enigma: The mysterious countdown clocks of Osirion have stopped and the entire Inner Sea is bracing for what the ramifications could mean. All across Golarion, strange living alien ships are landing and old horrors awake from the depths of the darklands as if responding to the call of some greater evil. When an expedition funded by the Ruby Prince ends with the discovery of a way to stem the coming invasion, the heroes must lead the way on an interstellar journey across the various planets of Golarion. Can our heroes prevent the coming invasion or will Golarion become the latest world whose inhabitants are destined to be stock of the Dominion's fleshfarms?
Seal of the Worldbreaker: A colossal pyramid has emerged near the sands of the Scorpion Coast and has awakened an ancient mad horror that has insidious plans for Golarion. Rahotep, a mummy lord once known as the Scorpion Pharaoh who worshiped Rovagug, has initiated an unholy alliance with the Elemental Lords to destroy the Star Towers and break the seal that imprisons his god. With Magnimar currently rebuilding, demons breaking free from the Worldwound, Osirion under assault from the Sky Pharaoh, and Cheliax in the midst of civil war, it falls to a ragtag party of heroes and the valiant captain and crew of an renowned airship to try and stop the release of the destroyer of worlds!

That one might end up being the second one of 2018...

If so then I hope we get a beautiful female Lashunta warrior with a gorgous mane of crimson-colored haired named Talaria leading a band of rebel Lashunta against vile god priests prophesied doom upon Castrovel. :D

With GenCon not too far off now, any predictions for the second 2018 AP?
Seems like Ironfang, Azlant and War for the Crown they've gone deep into Golarion lore. Two out of those three have been deep dives in Avistan, while Ruins of Azlant sounds pretty out there. So I am going to take a guess that we are somehow going back to Garund.

If I keep guessing Vudra, one day I will be right.

Or the Auctum (sp?) Enigma, but that one might start in Garund.

I think they've abandoned Garund and decided to go vanilla Avistan for the time being. I'm guessing Razmiran next, but only because Galt can't come right on the heels of WotC.

hmm....
been reading some AP volumes, and one thing that keeps popping up is the KNIGHTS OF OZEM and their relationship with Geb / Arazni.
BUT that being said, we are getting Ultimate Wilderness... so... I'm guessing it'll be... something involving... the... LUMBER CONSORTIUM and it'll be set in Andoran!

I doubt it'll happen, because Ultimate Wilderness surely has something to do with Ruins of Azlant, and because that AP already has a nod to Andoran in it. But if it does, at least it'll at least be of a piece with the reactionary parables that play out across southern Avistan, from Kintargo to Oppara.

Hmmm, that may be. But that would be 2 books connected to a single AP, which seems odd. I guess we'll find out.
