Zaister, I hate it but I think you're right. It's pretty obvious that they're favoring the European cultures.
Nex, Geb, Osirion, Qadira, Rahadoum, Katapesh, the Mwangi Expanse, the Sodden Lands, and Jalmeray are all in the Inner Sea region... you can hang your hat in the Inner Sea while being in no way European.

Land of The Linnorm Kings- The Scrimshaw Chronicles. Players are viking raiders at low levels, rising to become Linorm Kings and eventually slay Fafhneir. Honor system tracking, gaining renown and prestige, adventure based off of Beowulf required.
Taldor- Glory of Taldor. The players come from different levels of Taldor society, banding together to depose the Prince, put his daughter on the throne, prevent a civil war and strike back at a Qadiran invasion. Make Taldor a major Inner Sea power again.
Molthune/Nirmathas- March of War. Players take on the role of mercenaries who get to choose sides in the conflict and change the course of the war. Multiple paths, play sides against each other and determine who wins.
Jalmeray- The House of the Hidden Eye. Player become martial arts students, join the Houses of Perfection and participate in a Mortal Kombat style martial arts tournament. Establish custom fighting styles and schools complete with outrageous attack calls and style titles.
Realm of the Mammoth Lords- Blood and Bone. Player are leaders of a small tribe dealing with hunting, warfare, environment and other hazards to keep their tribe alive. Low-magic, low-wealth, gritty themes.

Make Taldor great again? I've got a bad feeling about this . . . .

The AP I would most like to see is first world setting.
Or at the very least a setting primarily focused on the fae and perhaps the faerie courts, full of intrigue, trickery, mysteries, and wild but imaginative locales to explore.
However, after reading through this thread
+1 Mana Wastes/Geb
+1 Goblin AP
+1 Tian Xia part II
I'd also like to see something in Hermea, but that might be more appropriate for a module.

With some of my old picks having been covered or looking to be covered soon, here are my current top preferences:
* Something that takes place entirely in Tian Xia (Shenmen is my preferred location, but I'd be happy with all sorts of places, Goka, Minata, and Nagajor being other notable favorites)
* Something that takes place over on Casmaron (Vudra being included in this as an option I'd be pleased with)
* A planar AP (based in Galisemni, perhaps?)
* Another kingdom-building AP set somewhere other than the River Kingdoms; alternatively a war-and-conquest AP that expands some existing nation with kingdom-building and the like being involved in that (the tribal Kingmaker mentioned upthread also sounds potentially interesting)
* An urban crime-empire AP, set in Vyre (alternatively Goka or Daggermark), where the whole AP is set up like the first couple books of Second Darkness with no veer-off away from the mob/crime themes. (Alternatively, something where the PCs are explicitly law enforcement personnel working to stop some major crime syndicate / clean up a city, with the syndicate being more threatening than the Council and the PCs being explicitly on the side of the law instead of quasi-not-quite-rebels.)
* Something focused on the Jistka Imperium and its ruins
* Something relating to Kytons (Nidal would be cool, but I'd almost rather see something over in Numeria)
* Something with a Darklands focus (Orv in particular)
* Nex/Geb/Mana Wastes
* Something over in Arcadia or Southern Garund, though I tilt away from a 'travel there from the Inner Sea' AP

BMO wrote:+1 Tian Xia part IIThat would be if you considered Jade Regent to be Tian Xia part I
lol I didn't mean part II literally, instead I meant that there was scope to return to Tian Xia.
Of course there's plenty of scope to develop an AP for a number of untapped countries/places in Golarion. The ones I listed above would just be my poor attempt at narrowing down a top pick.

After reading a posters problem with PFS play an idea might be,
1) An AP with limits on playable classes or no full BAB classes.
I do not know how viable this would be or even if there is an interest but it would definitely be different or maybe just harken back to the old 1 player 1 GM adventures ie Thief adventure, Fighter adventure's that were published ages ago.
Other things from fantasy are:
Invasion/Invaded by:
1) Shadow/Shade realm
2) large landmass appears and inhabitants invade
3) 1st world invades
4) Gith invade from astral plane (IIRC the plane)
5) Planet approaches to with in gate/teleport range and they attack
Magic Weakens:
Spells are less effective and or fail with permanent spells also being affected (and in some stories magic items) essentially resting many magic things in the game setting.
Construct/Re-create/Find pieces of, Artifact:
Fairly standard story line to solve/head off some problem
AP I would like to see:
1) Something that links to Starfinder or provides a link to the game (but this could also be a problem if Starfinder is not well recieved for some strange reason)
2) Underground travel AP: I like the Tien linked to the main land idea above but it could also be expanded to intricate under-world warterways idea.
3) Gate based AP

Cole Deschain wrote:Oh! You know what we need? A "voyages of Sinbad" AP. I mean, the PCs shouldn't constantly be losing ships like he does, but that sort of adventurous exploration of weird and far-flung places.Combine with Iblydos for Odyssey flavor.
Have the PCs be from somewhere else exploring Iblydos by sea- that would both help generate some of that sense of wonder and actual exploration while not shackling them to having to solve any of Iblydos' specific problems- give them stuff of their own they need to tackle and put some hydras in the way!

The Eye of Abendago. The COOLEST and most mysterious location on the map of Golarion and to the best of my knowledge virtually nothing is known about it. The overarching lore implications are overwhelming, and gosh dangit, I wanna go in the hurricane!
The Test of the Starstone. See above for rants about lore implications, etc etc etc. Think about the limitless possibilities for the greatest Mega-Dungeon Golarion has ever seen!

Andoran has colonies in Arcadia too. Actually, it's implied they have more Arcadian colonies in Cheliax, whose holdings are specifically limited to Anchor's End and the now-destroyed Canorus, while Elesomare is "but one of a number of small Andoran villages dotting Arcadia's eastern seaboard."

Well, thank you! Galt was like 60% of why I got the Pathfinder Campaign Setting in the first place. With Cheliax (30%) and The River Kingdoms (10%) the other two countries that caught my eye. :-)
Now, about that adventure path... :-)

I don't think there was a single or collection of states in Golarion that first got me interested. In fact I was pretty resistant to using Golarion at first. It wasn't till I jumped into PFS and got a sense of the different places that I began to invest into its lore and history. Glad I did too as its proven to be a lot of fun. That said, at this point my favorite established places would be:
1. Taldor
2. Osirion
3. Minkai
The non established but only hinted at ones would be:
1. Arcadia
2. Underdark
3. Vudra

My personal wishlist:
Jalmarey/Vudra
Weird Western set in Alkenstar (Dynamite! Mines! People tied to train tracks! Quick draw duels!)
Tian Xia
Galt
Akiton
1970s Earth (This could be another one like Shattered Star, where the players are members of the Pathfinders, and end up flung through a portal and end up on a strange planet far far from home, and have to figure out some way back. The first two volumes could be acclimating to the new world, finding others who are trapped, and building a portal. The next two books would be a bit of world hopping where the PCs discover some malignant force is behind the portal warping. The final two books would be working towards a final showdown with the malignant force on it's own plane of existence.)
Moar Varisia

Quandary |

Hm, OK...
Southern Garund, maybe starting out from/tying in with Nex... Cyclops tie in? ancient wall vs. demon war?
Non-Minkai Tian Xia... s
Casmaron, both core Kelesh lands + new, unmentioned nations (part of or independent of Kelesh), Sarenrae family feud showdown?
Elven + Castrovel dealing with broader implications of Elves. + Lashunta. Lashunta psychic derivation from insectoid hiveminds?
Rahadoum with Jistka weirdness and Nidal/Atteran Barrows/ZK/Desna tie in?
(Desna cultists seek to use Jistkan artifacts against ZK/Pangolais, which draw Rahadoum into conflict they would prefer to avoid but cannot? Shadow Plane Ancient Jistka Imperium?)

Seems like every thrid person here wants some more Tian Xia. There´s a thread dedicated to that, why don´t you go over and post your opinion and wishes there? It might actually help. More Tian Xia Thread.

It's funny you say this, because just a few days ago I was looking for Darklands adventures and realized that there was only one PFS scenario set there. Which is wild as f~*$ because we have a whole book (maybe two? is Darklands Revisited out yet?) about the Darklands and at least two adventure paths that visit them.

Oh wow.
That *plus* a "Kingdom Building via Raiding" mechanic and I'll throw all the money at it.

Linnorm Kingdoms AP like LordofThreshold suggested, plus it could encompass adventures to distant Ulfen colonies like in Valenhall (Arcadia) and Almhult (Crown of the World). Maybe it could even give some info on the northern islands in the Steaming Sea, that are right between Arcadia and Avistan.
An Absalom AP I think is also sorely needed given that this is one of the largest cities in the world of Golarion. It could be a heavy urban based adventure maybe dealing with criminal underworld of the city & political conspiracies that could have implications beyond Absalom (no doubt a huge mercantile metropolis like this probably hosts many political exiles from other lands). Could also include adventures to Shadow Absalom and the neighbouring isle of Erran.
Finally I think an AP centred around both Taldor and Qadira could be really cool. It could potentially be about unknown forces in both countries stirring up bad blood between the two rival realms that could potentially risk the outbreak of another violent religious war. Players could be put in the middle as intermediaries trying to calm the conflict and find out who is responsible for stirring it. This could also include adventures to neighbouring territories in Casmaron (like nearby Keleshite satraps or the Whistling Plains that Taldor claims dominion of)

Quandary |

Yeah, Rahadoum and Nidal were the only Inner Sea locations I had included,
but Druma would also be on my list, potentially including tangents in Moltune or Andoren or 5 Kings Mountains?
I also love Zavaten Gura, perhaps tying it in to an AP happening in Shining Sea/ Ivory Sea area, maybe even including Kaladay (and Sweettalkers?) would work, and other eldritch horrors of the far north. Not seeing that as likely priority before others, though.
