DM nearly killed half the party and the miniboss with an accidentally summoned tornado. Sole Midwesterner in the party begins yelling "Dude! Not cool!"

Shadow Lodge

I love the Elixir of Improbability.

So do I. Can I buy it off of you?

Moorluck wrote:

Did you ever wonder why stormtroopers wore armor? I mean they died if they got hit with rocks! O.o

In my mind the Ewoks died. All of them. >:)

I love the ewoks. So adorable... and yes, armor is little protection against rocks of prodigious size. Gotta love the bola.

I like the part where the AT-ST gets the double whammy.

Just finished running a sidequest for Darklight Sisterhood using only my phone apps. It was weird as he'll without dice I could manipulate, but once i got the timing down, it was he'lla smooth. Not sure about doing this for kingmaker tomorrow, but i am considering it-there is a huge battle coming up and storing my rolls in this app would be a time saver for sure. .hmmm...

My wife loves the movie for the dichotomy of high tech vs low tech- a laser blast will kill you, so will a rock to the base of the skull.

Hey, never ever underestimate the fire-power of primitive violence.

Liberty's Edge

Altogether, I spent nine hours today playing Skyrim. That's really kind of terrifying. I haven't played a video game for that long in probably 10 years or so. I mean, Skyrim's cool, but it's not exactly the kind of game I could see myself playing for nine hours...

Heyo! What did I miss?

The Exchange

You people are crazy if the ewoks winning that fight made any sense to you. They threw stones at armored stormtroopers! Lucas is an idiot! :P

The Exchange

It would be like me having kobolds deal 12d8 points of damage with a stone thrown at your 3rd level fighter. "I'm sorry but your +1 Scale Mail is no protection against the power of pluck."

O.o

Me slipping farther and farther away from sanity. How's tricks Icy?

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday! Spent last evening unplugged from electronic stuff. Hadn't done that in too long a time.

Scarab Sages

So, today has dawned bright and sunshiny. Still a bit cool, compared to what we had earlier this week. But this is good. It'll give my poor lawn time to dry out so I can cut it tomorrow morning.

Scarab Sages

Methinks today shall be filled with many mundane things: haircut, grocery shopping, a visit to the dry cleaners.

Scarab Sages

But for now, I'll enjoy a bit of coffee.

*yawn*

I blame drugs. Probably good drugs that should be shared, but drugs nonetheless.

Fixed it for you

As much as I enjoyed that movie, I don't totally disagree with you. However, I have two words that you also need to consider.

David. Goliath.

Just because it's unlikely, doesn't mean it can't happen. :)

Food for thought,... ;)

Annnnd good morning all, another glorious Saturday stuck at work,...

Thank God my coffee is ready.

I've done that as well and I really liked it, but I noticed that a couple of people got...twitchy when they realized I was rolling virtual dice.

Ragadolf, I hope your workday goes smoothly.

My wife works in IT and they made some server changes last night, so she's expecting to have a busy day.

Last time I played with you, I noticed people got twitchy just being in the same room as your character.

Ah. Maybe it was just the fact that I was rolling dice, and it had nothing to do with what I was using to generate my dice rolls.

Good point. :P
