Blitz.

The Exchange

A naked blitz, pushing through the resistance!

All hail the conquering Ewoks!

You ate Chinese.

I say we take Lucas, Whedon, and whoever is running the show at Marvel these days, and put them in the Thunderdome!

And when we have a winner we "recant" the rules and kill that one too. >:)

go Lucas!!!

Okay, dinner is done, now where was I?

Yes I did. Would've had more but silly wife got 'shrooms in the lo mien. :(

The Exchange

Stoopid mushrooms ruining my meal, I hates them.

The Exchange

Sadly I like mushrooms, but I'm allergic to them.

On the upside, Pecan Sandies!

So anybody got anything good going on this weekend?

The Exchange

I hate the build advice threads. It always seems to degenerate into "You aren't gonna deal max damage, you suxorz."

I am going to GM tomorrow. Unless something explodes or something.

One player will be probably absent unless the weather will be foul - she will have some family meeting/trip in case of good weather.
I don't want the weather to be foul because it will increase my ticket expenditure to get on the place but it would be nice to have a complete party. How am I going to do a TPK when there are party members absent?

When the missing player returns require a Will save DC 50, or the PC dies from shock at seeing their companions bodies strewn about their living room.

The Exchange

I seldom leave FAWTL, but when I do...

F&*~ YEAH!

I saw thread title "Flesh to wood" and started to have thoughts.

Urizen followers would be proud of me.

I couldn't help it, that title was just begging for the FAWTL touch, I am happy it was well received. :P

She's the owner of the house where they are living but they are all away now and in the middle of ruined wizard's tower, partly phased into the Plane Of Shadow.

Ok, I am going to wash myself, write down the stats for shadows and go to sleep.

No more tea for now, I just drink some water.

Yeah this is why I have that forum hidden.

I simply look at those for the few good comments, then sneak off like the ghost that I am.

I like to use them as a convenient wiki when I'm building a character. I don't really have anything to contribute rules innovation wise so I just mine it for ideas

I got swept into one too many stupid petty arguments and decided to write the whole place off for the sake of my little remaining sanity >_>

Yeah. It's a blessing sometimes not to be good with optimization. I have no real opinion on rules adjucation, so I am immune to being drawn into the fights. Having come up from the old 'make it up as you go along' school of AD&D, I don't stress the exactitude stuff.

Gotta love people who make blanket assumptions on the internet then try to give you advice about what they've already determined your problem to be. Doubly so when their determination is completely off base.

Liberty's Edge

I swear to f&$&ing god, Syracuse music promoters need to learn basic math. If two promoters each book four bands to play with no overlap and without consulting with each other, and there's only enough time for six bands to play, that means that two of the bands who show up to the gig end up getting sent home. This has happened to me FOUR times this week. I am so f*~#ing done.

Liberty's Edge

I wish I could afford to move out of this town. If I can get a job in a month, I can probably save up enough to move this time next year. Anyone got any suggestions on where?

Houston seems popular.

gooooood morning FaWtL

wow, 3 pages of superhero discussion

very strange to me as a german, we did not have spuerhero comics when I was a kid superman was only movies for me, x-men only cartoon, spiderman, batman I think where comics books, but superheros where obscure and not popular at all

we did read Asterix, Lucky Luke, Clever&Smart, WaltDisney's funny Pocketbook

Avengers, Iron Man, Blade, Watchman, Sin City and all the other superhero movies of the last 15 years are purly movies for me, I hadnever heard of these characters before the films came out

acceptable comics for adults are Asterix and maybe WaltDisney

I know of Asterix, but is it a subject of some controversy there? I know an italian friend of mine truly dislikes the way Rome is portrayed.

Starting the day watching season 2 of Sparacus.

I cannot believe there were some people who were slaves who did nothing but exercise to maintain a pleasing physique, and be a part of orgies while others watched and occasionally joined in.

The mind boggles.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Sunday! Weather's looking to be exceptional. And it's a Kingmaker Sunday! Huzzah!

Yeah this is why I have that forum hidden.

I stay away from them as well. Way I see it, I've probably been playing since some of those giving the advice were in diapers or not yet born. So, yeah, not going to give a crap what they think.

Sad thing is, one of my group members is kind of the same way - always giving optimization advice. I think I'll kill his Kingmaker PC today.

Scarab Sages

Time to go get ready for the day. Adios, FAWTLY Friends!

For further proof, see this video. (The first 45 seconds or so are not applicable, but still funny).

I have also hidden that forum. I don't mind taking advice from someone given two conditions: 1) I know the person fairly well, and 2) I ask for advice. I hate it when someone I don't know looks at my character (or someone else's) and starts going on about "You should do this" or "You took that feat? Are you stupid?" or so on. It's one of the things that makes me hate people.

Now that I've run the encounter for the party... another Songspawn for display. This time it's the proof of the sound-based creatures' ability to corrupt other entities - a template that can be placed on a creature, transforming it into a member of the dark chorus. Though if a creature remains Dissonant for long, inevitably it will become one of the Song in full.

** spoiler omitted **...

Nice!
