As he walks into the room, Devlyn notices an alluring woman dressed in white furs walking across the room. "Hello," she says, "my name is Allura. You seem like just the fellow I'm looking for."Devlyn walks her to the door, waving back as she leaves. After she turns the corner and is out of sight, he goes back in the room, figures out how to operate the tub/shower/thingy and gets cleaned up, then heads downstairs to get some breakfast out in the sun, a little lost in thought.

Alaina finishes her regemen and heads back upstairs to prepare for the evening's festivities. After a long shower under her massive rainhead fixture she emerges, toweling her damp tresses as she pads over to her closet. Slipping on a simple back minidress, she fastens a golden chain belt across her slender waist and slips on some garter stockings and some Manolo Blahnik pumps. She slips her ruby pendant on, slips on a few gold bracelets, puts on some diamond dangle earrings and slips her favorite leather whip onto a cunning hook built into the belt. Leaving her strawberry blonde tresses loose and curly, Alaina descends to the club's main area to greet her early guests.

"Good evening Alaina. I hope I wasn't the only one who slept through the whole day - last night was insane. It looks like we have an early arrival" pointing to Allura.

Hi Devlyn! Yes, I did sleep in, but I did get my exercise in earlier, thank Calistria. The sun'll be setting soon, and I imagine things will get busy here again! I ddin't even get a chance to start the girl's religious training! Well, another night of hard work bussing tables wont hurt them ..

As Rio dances that evening with Lynora-Jill and Alaina, he can't help but notice Serafina working hard at the bistro seats off the side of the dance floor. Something about the girl pulls his attention despite dancing between two paragons of beauty. When he sits down he sees a cambion slap her rump as she hurries to the kitchens.
Rio soon found that trying to keep up with LJ when she was focused on dancing was an act of endurance not many could meet. She waved to him as he finally had to sit down and take a rest.
*Anger flaring, Rio suddenly calms down, a mischievous grin on his face. He turns to Alaina and Lynora, his eyes glowing slightly blue.*
"Excuse me just a moment, I need to see what happens to a cambion's pants when they hit -20 degrees."*He turns, his hand raised slightly. Blue light swirls along the floor, hidden by the Club's lights, before reaching the cambion and covering his pants in ice*
The Insect Lord had retired early to his rented room. His yochlol dance partner had accompanied him, and they had spent a pleasant evening in dalliance. He now starts awake and discovers himself alone. His dance partner has vanished, leaving only the faintest traces of musky perfume in the room.
He winces as he realizes he never even got her name.

The cambion shreiks, and starts out of his seat. He walks stiff-legged to the bathrooms, and doesn't return.

Devlyn eats his dinner, talking with Allura and enjoying the music. After the meal (and downing another Dark & Stormy), he lets Magdalena know they are moving to one of the tables near the dance floor, then does so. He sits there for a while, taking in the music and noting that Rio and Serafina have finally made some time for each other on the dance floor, and raises a glass approvingly.
Doubting that Damarra would come back with this kind of crowd in-house, he still keeps an eye out.

I'm gonna go get a drink! she shouts to Alaina over the music. She sashays over to the bar and orders a mojito. She hopes JH will come down soon. She knew that dancing wasn't his favorite thing, but she still enjoyed getting to dance with him on those occasions when he could be coaxed onto the dance floor.
