Might I suggest that there be a list of all venture captains on the Pathfinder Society page? I have no idea if there's a venture captain for my area, and it would be kind of cool to find out. :)
Would you like a text version or a map version?

I would like a Holgraphic Version that I can manipulate with my Kinect.

I just wanted a link on the main page. :) Thanks, though!
(The answer is that there's no venture captain for my region, btw.)

Thanks for volunteering, Steven.

Not yet, though I am actively recruiting in the Vancouver and BC area. I have even gone so far as to drive up to Vancouver on a Saturday and introduce myself to 6 of the 7 stores I am aware of. If you know anyone interested in serving in the role of VC for that area, please have them apply.

I'd like a version that has my Lodge corrected - Serbia still doesn't have a Lodge, and mine is nicely written beside my name (and the map is missing Slovenia)
But yes, congratulations to the newly appointed people :D

Ha! It's Brent, actually, though you aren't the first person to make that mistake. And oddly, my birth certificate does show my last name as having an apostrophe (Jan's). Someday Jan will claim me as hers...
Looking forward to working with you and Neil; we need to plan out the Great Canadian Pathfinder Moot real soon!

Cheers to the new Venture Officers !! Huzzah !
It good to see that currently no less than 11 of my gaming friends have infiltrated the ranks of the Pathfinder leadership.
Muwahahahahaha
Thank you Baron as it was you who first planted the seed in my head to become VC back at PFS HQ at GENCON 2010.

Thank you Chris

My bad. Fixed.
Venture-Lieutenant were added as well, however a few are still missing email address from the paizo page.

I am betting that you mean this stealth preview in Game Trade Magazine. Who says we aren't doing Bestiary 3 previews?

This is the stealthiest of stealth previews I've ever seen. Nicely done...

Thanks Lisa :)

What qualifies a preview as "Stealthed"? I ask because I know my perception checks IRL are pretty awful.

I don't have a lot to do with Vancouver, but I'll keep my ears open. Thanks!

I am definitely going to Gen Con this year. Did the drive out from Edmonton in 2010, which was interesting fun (especially when crossing back to Canada with resin steampunk gun replicas).
I'll keep the drive in mind. Funds allowing, I wouldn't mind just flying but I'll have to play that by ear.

Marc Radle wrote:Now, if only we could get a couple in Pennsylvania!!!Nice of you to volunteer ;-)
Heh heh ...
I figured someone would say that :)
I've actually never played a Pathfinder Society game and really know little about it, beyond what I've read here on the message boards. That's kind of the point - I'd like to check Pathfinder Society gaming out to see if I like it, but there does not seem to be any around that I can find.
Actually having a Venture Caption in PA (really, it's a big state - we should have two, one for the western half and one for the eastern half) would probably help.
As for volunteering, it'd be kind of a HUGE leap for the guy that is at this point really just interested in learning a bit more about Pathfinder Society (and has never actually played) to become a Venture Caption :)

stuff
Ahhh, I get you. Are you on the Pittsburgh or Philly side? I'm sure we can steer your towards the closest VC/VL who can work you you to get something going in your area even with a lack of volunteer leadership. Do you have a game store in your area? If not, how about a bookstore, or library, or perhaps a grocery/department store with a cafeteria area? Heck, you could even organize a game at your house, but without knowing the other players, I can see wanting to play it safe.
Honestly, if you like/d Living City, Living Greyhawk, Living Forgotten Realms, or any other organized play system, you will more than likely enjoy PFS. And if you are familiar with PFRPG already, there isn't much to learn.

Closer to Philadelphia (Harrisburg, actually)
I have a few Pathfinder home games I play in currently. I was just hoping to maybe sit in on a PS game or two to see what is about and then maybe give it a try.
I am definately very familiar with the Pathfinder RPG :) The problem is I have no experience with any kind of organized play - I'm aware in general terms of what Living City, Living Greyhawk and Living Forgotten Realms are but I've never played any myself. My games have always been home games.
Oh well, I'll just keep my eyes open - sooner or later I'm sure PA will get a Venture Captian or two and then hopefully I'll start to see more PS activity. :)
