Yes, it is allowed. They're prestige classes though as far as i know, so you'd need to meet the requirements during play. But there'll be ample chance for that.

Couple of general questions:

This sounds like a game where Kingdom Building would come into play. Will those rules be in effect?

What level do you see this game getting to? Roughly how fast will we level?

Also, expressing interest in an arcane role of some sort.

Yes Kingdom building will be a part of it. The way your group builds the kingdom will influence the Island, and what kind of encounters you'll face.

I've built this game to be able to take a group roughly to L16 on encounters alone. So adding in random events and the other factions' doings it should comfortably reach 20.

As for speed it depends on the group mostly, but i try to keep the pace high but not ridiculous.

Hey Tim, how would you like to have a gnome enforcer-slave trained like an attack dog who will savage anyone you sic him on?

Because right now I'm thinking gnome bloodrager with a pet (valet familiar for amplified rage)

After the Half orc is given over, the second gift to the expedition arrives. An armed and armored gnome in a slave's collar. He seems completely docile, but his Order of the Pike master explains, Don't take the collar off before he has a target. The minute you do he'll attack. Give him a target though... He smiles, Well lets just say I haven't seen giants run quite as fast as after He got ahold of their chieftain.
The gnome just stands there like an obedient dog and humms to himself.


The Half Orc turns a cruel twisted smile to the new arrival, pondering the hate that would win the respect of hellknights. A loyalty that must be purged. And so while his eyes betray his greed, they only promise pain.

The gnome winces under the half-orc's gaze and bows his head quickly. The humming doesn't stop though. It seems he is barely aware of making the quiet tune.

Hello!

I noticed in the main thread that there may still be slots open. And this seems fun. Thus I'd like to ask if that is still the case (the open slots, that is : ) )?

Additionally I'd like to ask what you think about small-sized tieflings?

Halflings and tieflings are my two favourite races so the combo is always extra juicy.

Seeing as there seems to be an lack of arcane caster I think I'd like to try the Eldritch Scoundrel archetype for an Unchained Rogue. It is a rogue with Magus casting (or a Magus without Arcane Pool, Spell Combat & Spellstrike but with some more skills and a bit of Sneak Attack).

I have an older character from whom I was thinking on incorperating some story and personality from, but more on that depending on the answers to the questions above. (I mean, there might not even be a spot left - and I've already been pretty wordy :P)


I will be submitting a tiefling cleric of Asmodeus soon.
