*sigh* Well, it appears I will have to cut this adventure short-

It was just outed that my little sister (14) is apparently cutting herself, or something, annnnd now we have to do a whole thing with doctors etc.

This is... extremely depressing- was really looking forward to a mythic adventure.

Based on the ridiculousness of this circumstance, if you guys were to want to try and find a new GM to take care of this game, I'm totally cool with that, and would help them with the transition as much as I could.

My thoughts are with you, GM, I know how hard these things can be. It's been a great run with you. If we do continue without you, I'm sure we'd gladly wait for your triumphant return.

She a freshman? She seems the right age to be.

I was first hospitalized for a suicide attempt during my freshman year of high school, and I can say without a doubt that I am in a much better place due to my time in the psych ward. I don't know of her situation, I don't know of the plans for her, and I don't know if your family has prior experience with the mental health system, but I can highly recommend getting her to some sort of hospitalization program.

With all of that said, I wish your sister and your family all the luck in the world. Depression, BPD, etc, and mental illness in general is tough to deal with. I'd give you all hugs right this instant if I could.

If you need someone to talk to, I'm here for you. I may be some silly nerd on a message board, but I get how impactful mental illness can be to a person and their family. Stay strong, friend. I appreciate all of the work you put into this story, and hope you and your little sister the best.

It is, funnily enough, getting to be where there is a dead end at every turn, and she might have only hospitalization left-

I don't fear that kinda thing, though- I was for like a week or so for major depression way back when. Must have just been a stint for me, cause now I'm clean as a whistle with no pills to take-

Everyone else in my family DOES take pills, though, almost literally, aside from me and my mother, from anything from narcolepsy to bipolar to anxiety to meh hahahaha

Thank you all for the words- I do apologize, feels absolutely terrible to end it this way, BUT, per usual, life gets in the way of fun xD

I will be helping Sealith now and again to run the game, as long as you guys are cool with that. She's been my whispering guide and Secondary GM almost this entire time anyways ;)

All the best, life has a way of working out, waiting to see what happons next but in no rush.

Alright, things have settled down for me.

I propose three options if the group wants.

A: We wait until our Awesome GM can start again.

B: I continue to run the game until he comes back

C: I take our characters in a dreamscape side quest where we continue to play but only when Council comes back, does he determine if it has any effect on his actual world.

Sealith, your character has by far the best interactions with Vasu. I love your writing style, but I don't want that character dynamic to go away, as it would definitely change if you were not only Sealith but the GM. I vote A.

Now you guys are at the actual work camp to the East, gathering people up before the Orog from the western woodlands reach you guys. Sorry about that xD
