DM Darkness wrote:ALSO: can someone who's better with technology than I am add Tatienne to the loot sheet please? Thanks.Done. I just used the GP total from her character sheet as the starting point, presuming that's correct.
Thanks, Felrin! Much appreciated!

No problem, Taty.
By the way, I wanted to say you've made a great addition to our game. I often find that we don't give enough positive feedback to each other in PbP games, feedback that would be obvious at a RL gaming table. So - nice to have you here, Tatienne, adding a new dimension to the game!

I think this is a really good point - it is easy to remember to do around the table, not so much on the interwebs. I'm going to try and do my part to spread the love around my games.
And thanks for the kind words, Felrin. It has been a real joy to play with you all, and I've gotten plenty of enjoyment out of reading everyone's take on their characters - this is a good group, and I'm going to do my best to honor that dynamic.
It is also doesn't hurt that DMD is in my estimation, one of the truly top-notch GMs on the Paizo forums. I'm sorry that DMD had to give up playing, but also pretty glad about that you know? 'Cause my satanic Mary Poppins wouldn't exist otherwise...

I can give positive feedback, as long as it isn't holy feedback!
PS: We're missing just C6-8 now right? Do we want to go trough the secret stairs instead of the external ones when we're finished?
Tatienne Talbot
Hahahahahahaha!
That's brilliant. It is like the person that edited that clip together looked into Taty's future... where at level 9 I fully intend for her to be using her Telekinesis focus power to terrorize orphans. Thanks for introducing me to that, AU!

This just in: Boggards are dumb.
In other news, water is wet, and liquefies vampires.
And yay for more doctor's posts!

+1 Good to have you with us again, AU.
OK, you have 3 options:
1 Climb the stairs of the spiral staircase you just found
2 Finish the lower level
3 Go outside and climb the outside stairs
Is there some consensus on what to do?
Etna Agnes
I think we've agreed to do 2, then 1?
Felrin Vennax
Yep, 2 comes first, then 1. (8 Int for the win!)

Hello boys and girls
Your friendly neighbourhood DM here. Sadly, my desktop has died, on which I keep all my maps, journals, notes, etc. I can still post from my phone, but without the data from my computer I can't run the campaign. Thankfully, it's all backed up, but I need a new computer in order to access the backups.
It's going to take a while for me to sort out everything, so I'm putting the campaign on hold for a week.
I'm still around to post so if you want to do some downtime planning, or have any questions, now is a good time for them.
Tatienne Talbot
Ah, the dreaded computer death - sorry to hear this, DMD.
Downtime questions:
I assume, once we take the horn, that we're going to have lots of downtime. Are there rules for how to handle this with WotW, or are we going to have a dungeon sandbox to work with?
Tatienne, as befits someone means, prefers creature comforts to roughing it. If I find a suitable room, can I spend some gold to kit it out? She's going to need a library and nice bedroom at least.
Can our evil organization be used to arrange the purchase of mundane and magical things, and ship it the horn?
Etna Agnes
Ouch, PC death always sucks. :(
Like Tatienne said, if you could give us the bare rules/ideas of handling the horn, we could start planning about that.
Regarding that, I'd remember to everyone that now Etna has Greater Teleport/2 day, but it's self only: I don't think I can carry around stuff save for what I can wear, but I can still go back to the city each day for a report from Timeon on how things are going.
Tatienne Talbot
Ooohhh, but you could carry a couple of haversacks with you? We could bring a lot of goodies to and from town that way.
Etna Agnes
Wow, I hadn't thought about that! I mean, I can't still fit most things in there. If Tkaara lent me the portable hole, I could carry even bigger things.
Felrin Vennax
Ouch, sorry to hear it, DMD! Best of luck sorting it out.
I like the idea of planning our exploration and domination of the Horn, so any info on how that works mechanically would be helpful, as Etna says.
Etna - For what it's worth, Felrin has been getting occasional reports from Elise back in town, but it's probably worth corroborating them via reports from Timeon.
F. Castor
I did actually, but I think (not sure, as I do not have the book with me at the moment) that unfortunately they are Weapon Finesse-based. Of course, I could be wrong, but I seem to remember being more tied to Dexterity than Strength and having Weapon Finesse as a prerequisite. OR I could cimply be imagining or rather misremembering things...
Etna Agnes
Also, the Spear Dancing style chain is so long it's not even funny. D:
Felrin Vennax
Interest confirmed! Glad to hear you're running again.
Etna Agnes
Woohooo!
Tatienne Talbot
Woot! Looking forward to it!
Etna Agnes
Everyone okay?
I was thinking: while I was joking about the Boggard's salary, don't we actually need a reason for them to listen to us? We've technically control of it, and most of the boggards would probably follow around, but wouldn't Zikomo need a reason to listen to us? He doesn't sound dumb enough to follow our orders blindly.

I'm here. Waiting to see whether Tkaara can mist her way through the door.
In two levels, Tkaara will be better at getting people to follow her. Dominate is a nice power, as long as it is not abused in game.
Felrin Vennax
And I'm at a con for the weekend, may have some posting time tomorrow.
Etna Agnes
Yay for high rolls when lying to team members about useless things. <.<

Well, we put Zik in power, and can remove him easily enough. After all, he couldn't best the former chief, and we did, so if he gets salty, we'll just have to remind him that there's lots of other boggards that would love the chance to make tadpoles with the ladies.
And if he's still salty, we do just that.

Ah, the age-old dilemma: is it better to reward your minions and thereby keep them happy, or simply off them when they get too stroppy?
Decisions, decisions... It's tough being an evil over-boss, you know.
So I'm told. *cough*
Ah yes, the reason that Domination is so nice when working with evil sub-overlords.
Etna Agnes
Well, an happy and well-rewarded minion is a loyal minion!
But what do boggarts like as rewards? Being able to roll into the mud? Blaargh at demonic/daemonic statues? Eating some of that stuff Kumanda was having?

What a coincidence! We will just have a steady rate of murderhobos valiant groups of heroes waltzing toward sure death trying to sabotage what we're doing in the Horn!

As Felrin, investigating, touches the name plate of ‘Ergun Nigma’ it pops out, with a snap...

I have a friend who used to do a lot of backcountry skiing when he lived in Alaska, and in his youthful exuberance would often volunteer to be the first across a slope, even when there was some real chance of avalanche from his passing. This earned him the nickname 'The Probe' - and I begin to feel like Felrin is inadvertently following in his tracks...

*Stands a good 10 feet away from Felrin while he sets traps off*
Also, puzzle!
I think we just have to press the plaques in the correct order: we've got multiples of the same letter, though.
Felrin Vennax
Etna - where are you getting the description of some of the letters being written somewhat differently? I'd love to play along with the puzzle, but I'm not seeing that info anywhere.
