Done. I just used the GP total from her character sheet as the starting point, presuming that's correct.

No problem, Taty.

By the way, I wanted to say you've made a great addition to our game. I often find that we don't give enough positive feedback to each other in PbP games, feedback that would be obvious at a RL gaming table. So - nice to have you here, Tatienne, adding a new dimension to the game!

I think this is a really good point - it is easy to remember to do around the table, not so much on the interwebs. I'm going to try and do my part to spread the love around my games.

And thanks for the kind words, Felrin. It has been a real joy to play with you all, and I've gotten plenty of enjoyment out of reading everyone's take on their characters - this is a good group, and I'm going to do my best to honor that dynamic.

It is also doesn't hurt that DMD is in my estimation, one of the truly top-notch GMs on the Paizo forums. I'm sorry that DMD had to give up playing, but also pretty glad about that you know? 'Cause my satanic Mary Poppins wouldn't exist otherwise...

OK, you have 3 options:

1 Climb the stairs of the spiral staircase you just found
2 Finish the lower level
3 Go outside and climb the outside stairs

Is there some consensus on what to do?

Hello boys and girls

Your friendly neighbourhood DM here. Sadly, my desktop has died, on which I keep all my maps, journals, notes, etc. I can still post from my phone, but without the data from my computer I can't run the campaign. Thankfully, it's all backed up, but I need a new computer in order to access the backups.

It's going to take a while for me to sort out everything, so I'm putting the campaign on hold for a week.

I'm still around to post so if you want to do some downtime planning, or have any questions, now is a good time for them.

LN Female Half-elf (Chelaxian) Bard (Archaeologist) 9 | HP: 66/66 | AC: 21/23 (w/shield) ( 12 Tch, 19 Ff) | CMB: +9, CMD: 21 | F:+5 R:+9 (+3 vs traps) W:+7 (+2 vs. enchantments) | Init: +2 | Perc: +20; SM: +0 | Speed 30 ft | Spells: 1st: 4/6 2nd: 3/5 3rd: 1/3| Performance: 9/16 | Active conditions: AL 2/3, Alter self 9 minutes (darkvision 60', swim 30', +2 size bonus to Str), haste 9/9 rounds (+1 attack, +1 AC)

Ah, the dreaded computer death - sorry to hear this, DMD.

Downtime questions:

I assume, once we take the horn, that we're going to have lots of downtime. Are there rules for how to handle this with WotW, or are we going to have a dungeon sandbox to work with?

Tatienne, as befits someone means, prefers creature comforts to roughing it. If I find a suitable room, can I spend some gold to kit it out? She's going to need a library and nice bedroom at least.

Can our evil organization be used to arrange the purchase of mundane and magical things, and ship it the horn?

Ouch, PC death always sucks. :(

Like Tatienne said, if you could give us the bare rules/ideas of handling the horn, we could start planning about that.
Regarding that, I'd remember to everyone that now Etna has Greater Teleport/2 day, but it's self only: I don't think I can carry around stuff save for what I can wear, but I can still go back to the city each day for a report from Timeon on how things are going.

Ouch, sorry to hear it, DMD! Best of luck sorting it out.

I like the idea of planning our exploration and domination of the Horn, so any info on how that works mechanically would be helpful, as Etna says.

Etna - For what it's worth, Felrin has been getting occasional reports from Elise back in town, but it's probably worth corroborating them via reports from Timeon.

Hey Erevan, did you check out the Spear Dancing style feats in the Weapon Master's Handbook? They look like they would well fit the style you are going for.

Male Human

I did actually, but I think (not sure, as I do not have the book with me at the moment) that unfortunately they are Weapon Finesse-based. Of course, I could be wrong, but I seem to remember being more tied to Dexterity than Strength and having Weapon Finesse as a prerequisite. OR I could cimply be imagining or rather misremembering things...

I was thinking: while I was joking about the Boggard's salary, don't we actually need a reason for them to listen to us? We've technically control of it, and most of the boggards would probably follow around, but wouldn't Zikomo need a reason to listen to us? He doesn't sound dumb enough to follow our orders blindly.

In two levels, Tkaara will be better at getting people to follow her. Dominate is a nice power, as long as it is not abused in game.

A lot of the undead/outsider powers are potentially game breaking, so feel free to adjust at as reasonable. I am sure I will get more than enough chances to use the powers.

Well, we put Zik in power, and can remove him easily enough. After all, he couldn't best the former chief, and we did, so if he gets salty, we'll just have to remind him that there's lots of other boggards that would love the chance to make tadpoles with the ladies.

And if he's still salty, we do just that.

Ah, the age-old dilemma: is it better to reward your minions and thereby keep them happy, or simply off them when they get too stroppy?

Decisions, decisions... It's tough being an evil over-boss, you know.

So I'm told. *cough*
