I am going to assume that everyone begins moving toward the orcs at the same time, so please give me a reference on where you will be moving to. When I’ve seen at least a few of the player's postings, I’ll adjust the map, and roll for the Orcs perception check…bwahahahaha

I've updated the map. We have not initiated combat rounds, yet. You can move again, but you do not have the element of surprise

I am trying to learn better ways of using Map tool and I hope the maps get better.

First, you may notice all the tokens are smaller. I don't tend to worry much about sizes on the map, and the smaller tokens have a better feel and the map doesn't look as cluttered.

I'll be using light sources and vision ranges once the party enters the cave. I purchased the Map pack for GiantSlayer and will be using the actual game map

Sorry for the delay, everyone. I had a little thing come up on Sunday, (I have to present at an electrical utilities seminar here in east Idaho on Tuesday morning and I am completely unprepared for it) and I am a bit distracted

Well that didn't go as planned...

I was told to return to regular duties for today at work- all was well at the start of the shift, but as time went on the my knee start to bother me again. I guess I rushed things too fast to return to work, and aggravated the injury again. Work sent me to a local clinic, and the doctor told me to take another week of light duty work to rest it- boss is sooo impressed.

On the plus side, since I'm on modified make-work anyway the foreman told me to take the time in the morning to go vote in the provincial election- saves him the hassle of scheduling the time needed. Its the big day to exercise my democratic right to vote for the losing party! (all the polls indicate the incumbents are gonna get back in- bummer but hey at least I did my part.)

Incumbents get voted back in. In related news, water is wet and grass is itchy.

Yepper as predicted- incumbents got in- but with the province's 1st minority gov't in over 50 years. So, there's gonna be a lot of interesting horse trading between the politicians. The environmental Green party actually holds the swing vote balance of power, even though they only got 3 seats in the Legislature.

Interesting times.

I am sorry for my absence. Business has been booming, and with the boss out and people calling off, I've had to unexpectantly cover at least 30 hours this week. I'm copying and pasting this to all my games- I apologize. With call offs, I had no ahead of time knowledge.

Things should be straight by Monday hopefully.

Looks like Calex and Marwan are ready to enter the cave - I've tried to make some minor improvements to the map, showing torches (mage light) on Marwan and Calex, and using the Fog of War feature to darken the dungeon a bit

Darlene will move where Stolos moves, unless told otherwise, while Aniktah moves with Calex, unless told otherwise.

A note about dancing lights

Ravena - I get what you want to do with the lights, but unfortunately, the spell doesn't work that way. You can have the lights appear up to 100+ feet away from you, but all four lights have to be within a roughly 20 foot distance of each other (imagine a circle with a 10 foot radius, or a diameter of 20 feet, all the lights must be within this area)

Now Calex and Marwan are booth using a light spell that produces the same light as a torch, this sheds normal light out to 20 feet in every direction from each of them, and then dim light twenty feet beyonf that, so if you want to use Dancing lights, you could send it further ahead of you, and I will reveal more of the map, or you can save it for a latter time, say when you reach an area that requires more light than what Marwan and Calex are using.

I'm still experimenting/learning with the map and how light sources are shown, the newest one should have proper light ranges for Marwan's and Calex's spells

This happens every time I try to post from my phone, I think I am selecting the thread from the game I think I want, but I am always in too big of a hurry to double check.

I am so thankful that you have a good nature about this, other people might get fed up with this constant mix up

Marwan - before you commit to that spell in round 1, I think you would know that it would not be affective on a Skeleton of this size

Figures the one time we find undead. Can I ask why? I couldn't find anything about size limitations in RAW. I'm not trying to argue just kind of confused.

It's HD based and Giant Skeletons, well, by default, are going to have a lot of HD

My wife had an emergency c-section at 6 am EST this morning at 35 weeks and 45 years old. Robbie is 3 lb 11 oz and in the NICU. Both are ok.

I don't know what kind of access to here I will have for the next while. I don't have a smart phone or laptop currently. Please bot me as needed and if you feel the need to remove me, I won't be offended. Things are going to be hectic the next few weeks but I do intend to return to my games.
