I'm surprised Ardiente and Ace haven't butted heads yet, given that they are alignment opposites. (Ardiente LN, Ace CN/CG)

It pains me, as someone that enjoys and has been using the written form for quite some time, to see how when we, as Human beings, allow ourselves to depend on technology to be the final keeper of our words when written. No double checking, no love for what is sent along. Sad panda.

I so need to work on my research papers, but I just can't bring myself to do it. :(
I always try to preview every single post I make, just in case. Usually its for formatting, but even when I don't format, I do it, just to re-read what I've written, make sure it flows, and sounds good from my PC's standpoint.
I also post what my rolls are for. It actually bothers me when I see somebody post a roll without labeling it, unless its obvious and even then it still annoys me a bit.

Damiani, same here, but I'd also like to be able to read a post on a game site with out having to translate it from old formal English into everyday English, or from horrible misspelled or completely wrong word into, well, English.
When it's a character of another race, you think "Oh, they're RPing an accent or something." When it's a human, and a professor, you think "How are they gonna teach anything to anyone if they're speaking pidgeon English?"

Ace's problem with Royston stems from Roy being some sort of thought cop. Ace definitely believes in a person's right to privacy, which is also how he'll clash with Reviarti who has shown a repeated lack of respect for such things.

I don't think your alone in that Ace I would say 99% of students fell just the same way. But that part of Roysons life was some 400 years ago, Royston has been doing other things in that time. Those may make Ace dislike him even more.
If Ace meets Royston and if he finds out what he is/was made to be, then more than happy to play it out in game, not all teachers are nice people, so such a smoldering dislike could be fun.
Royston was asked to come and teach, some one or thing thought he's skills where needed.

Why not? It's a perfectly good song. It's just funny watching a ten year old boy totally rocking out to it. Especially since when he was little he only liked metal. :)

Today was a loooong day. And tomorrow will be worse. They do need me to chaperone so I have to be out in the woods in the cold and wet all day tomorrow. Have I mentioned yet that I'm allergic to outside? :/

Really? Dark Passion Play is by far my favourite Nightwish album.
Eva is an amazing ballad-style song, and Amaranth is an excellent rock song.
The Poet and the Pendulum though... that song gives me chills /every single time/.
I am thinking the band could have various styles. but not all in the same show.
we can cater the show and thus music selection based on the audience.
at times we can perform techno dance tunes (glow parties)
maybe another show will be female harmony
and somtines we can have a show more head banging rock.
what I am syaing is we can have a multitude of styles but should confine each individual performance to a single style.
this will make the band versitile and unique for each show. (repeat audience and a full range of fans).
I am a big fan of Phantom of the Opera myself. That song is great.

What's really amusing is the fact that I think Carl's warping ahead in time, having FLOWN up to the Sun. Collected people-- interacted with the explosions, and FLOWN back to the school, teleporting people off.
Meanwhile, how much time's passed in the school?
