Yep. Preferably between games, but the change is not so major that in the weird timespace of a PbP game I'll allow it now.

So the money from the Chronicle sheets we cannot use till between adventures? So we don't add it on to our character sheet and we can use it to buy the items at the end of the module that come up?

The money you have from chronicles you can spend at any time you like.

I think the best bet would be Lady Darchana then the harbor.. but will go with the group.

Sorry! I'm here. James isn't the social type so I haven't had much to say though I do try to post something to let you know I'm alive. Been a rough few days around home, was in the ER 4am sunday morning with my wife. Was having some pregnancy complications and at 45 (yes we're old) things aren't going as smoothly as the first 4 did. I'll try to do a better job posting here.

This particular instance of the money can't really be used since it was gained at the end of the scenario. It's already included in the chronicle anyways. I'm working the chronicles right now.

Thanks GM! Last time I played this, all three baddies in the hold attacked us at once.. it did not end very well for any of us. I think we ended up winning, but several PC's did die.

So whats next up?

How much gold should we have in total?

I am looking at buying a bow since I have no ranged weapon and maybe some master work armor

by my math, Since we got 430 gp for the first module and 514 for the second one, we should be at 944 gp, or almost enough for a +1 suit of armor.

plus the 150 for the bonus from capturing the ship

I might pick up a CLW wand for 2pp

Kelris: we don't get to keep that up 150.. that's really just flavor. The only things we get are what's listed on the chronicle sheet.. so the total gold there is what you have.

Wands are generally good for 2pp, but if you want a bow you can pick up a Darkwood Composite Longbow with a +3 strength bonus for 2pp as well. I don't typically run melee characters, but my ranged ones all use at least 2 of their pp for a backup bow just in case the original is stolen, broken, dropped, etc.

I had no idea you could get a +3 bow for 2 PP.. I guess I need to go back and look at the price lists again!!! Ive been spending needless gold! I guess its so mainstream to use PP on wands and stuff I never thought about buying a weapon with it.

Edit: I thought I posted this, but it must have been in another game.. I would like to purchase a wand of CLW for 2 PP. I will have the rest of my purchases updated shortly.

You could also get a masterwork silver or cold iron weapon with pp.

@Kelris: You should be able to make your bow masterwork as well as mighty, instead of making it darkwood (which doesn't really do anything anyway).

GM: Somehow, my Wounded Wisp chronicle has disappeared from my Google Drive. Would you still have a copy of that?

Darkwood is considered masterwork and weighs half as much.

So funny question to those who play a lot of PFS do you tend to have better gear faster? It seems like the leveling is a bit slower than standard play but since you get PP you can get better gear faster.

In my opinion, it kinda evens out. In PFS you don't get to keep anything from the scenario that you don't out right buy so you actually end up with less gold and fewer items at the end, so they offset this with PP purchases to even the field. On top of that, you have rules that you are only allowed certain items based upon your Fame score. Using PP for purchases and boons/vanities allows you some extra perks that you might not be able to afford based on the lower gold recieved per scenario.
