I'm assuming you are talking the spyglass.
We have to go back past the house to get to the boat.
I was planning on picking it up then as I didn't think carrying it into combat was a good idea.
Besmara __ |
After all this weeks you still didn't get to know your captain and her priorities? From the description of the lodge inside the stockage:
Inside is a single chamber, crowded with a large amount of furniture, including a comfortable bed, a small writing desk,...
Lito de'Anora |
As far as I know:
Beds are either built into the side of a ship or attached like hammocks.
Loose furniture ends up being dangerous when the ship is tossed around in a storm.
So I don't know that would even be possible to bring back for her.
Besmara __ |
This is a funny ooc discussion. Besmara doesn't know there is a bed. So she doesn't want anything. But that lonely guy brought the bed up there from the sunken ship you see on the map. So it is possible in that world.
A bed that is detachable consists of six parts. Matress, slatted frame, headboard, footboard, and two side boards. You're a group of six, so...

Hey guys. Super busy weekend. Last minute deadline came in due for Monday so will post when I can. Might be like one or two posts at most. Sorry. Will be back to normal on Tuesday :)
Lito de'Anora |
Works for me. I think a couple of us got 1con and that's it...
By the way who's tracking loot?
We got a bunch of stuff on the island, But Ididnt track it as I assUsed Trytton was doing it...
Trytton |
I was not actively tracking no. Because people were picking stuff up as individuals as they went I thought they would be tracking it.
Suggestion, I will add a "current excursion" tab to the spreadsheet and everything we find, as we find it, goes onto that page, with a value.
How does that seem?
Also would you be willing to trade the lesser bracers of archery, to a pair of bracers of falcons aim, the old ones? Also perhaps allow the effect to effect other ranged weapons as well? As we have at least 2 pistol users and at most 0 archers.
Trytton |
Once per day, on command, the wearer gains the benefits of aspect of the falcon for 1 minute. The wearer must wear these bracers continuously for 24 hours before activating this ability.
This effect does not stack with any other effect that expands the threat range of a weapon, such as the Improved Critical feat or a keen weapon.
You lose the crit range boost which is VERY nice. but are better. Which is why i suggested them originally. However the old version had it as an all day effect rather than once a day for a minute.
Foxy Quickpaw |
So it got nerfed. This calls for a custom solution.
A spell of range personal shouldn't be allowed to be made into a magic item to start with.
So these are Bracers of Hawk Eye which grant +3 on perception and a +1 morale bonus on attack.
Which equals the effect of a continuous bless (4000gold) plus a +3 skill bonus (worth 1800 gold*1.5). Please note that the effect is not limited to ranged weapons. The nice thing about this is, that it stacks with the inspire courage competence bonus from Lito.
If you can't decide who will get this we have to think about some time sharing model.
Estelle Numbduster |
Can you take weapon focus? or Ability focus? That is just DC's though really.
Foxy Quickpaw |
Weapon focus works for magic rays, so we can apply that to blasts too.
Weapon Focus(Blast)
But magic items is also easy. If you need something for your character build just tell me and I can check what useless but expensive items I can exchange for that. I assume you are experienced enough to know what is reasonable for your level so please stay with that.
Also we are still level three right? This needs to be changed. Level up to 4!
Estelle Numbduster |
I know that I took the Mstr work hand axe that someone had and turned in. I really need to sit down with Estelle's sheet and look over what she needs in terms of weapons and other gear.
Estelle Numbduster |

I see a training for my crew is direly needed.
The skill check you're making depends on the kind of propulsion you're using on your ship. Your ship is a Ship’s Boat which has both sails and oars. If you're sailing you make profession sailor checks to keep your boat and sails in the wind and at best angle.
If you use the oars you use diplomacy, intimidate or handle animal depending on the intelligence of your crew and your attitude towards them.
Besmara __ |
Also Noonan uses unfair means. Aircraft carriers are totally unfair in a fantasy setting :D I'm totally going to install a huge dragon on my ship as soon as I get my hands on one. Or maybe some other huge flying creature without that greedy attitude towards gold.
Trytton |
When two ships first encounter one another, the
pilots of the two ships must make three opposed sailing
checks. Whichever pilot wins at least two out of three of
the opposed checks is victorious. If the pursuing ship
wins, it catches up to the f leeing ship and ship-to-ship
combat begins. If the f leeing ship wins, it escapes. If the
result is a tie, the pilots should begin a new series of three
opposed checks.
