Both hydras and the frost drake perish under your furious assault. Sigrun continues to smash at the siege tower, and with nothing left to either move or defend it, it rapidly becomes too damaged to move. Most of the troops inside are still suffering the effects of Percy's stinking cloud and are unable to defend themselves. They fall quickly.
-----------------------------------------------------
Nice work, everyone. That was the iconic combat of Book Four. Hopefully it was enjoyable. As requested, I'll handwave most of the rest of this Book. To be honest, the majority of it's pretty forgettable and/or completely unrelated to the main plot. Summary to follow....

With the collapse of the siege tower, the Drakelands army is broken. Spurhorn's defenders break the siege and drive back the enemy. Demoralized and lacking their previous numerical advantage, the Drakelands warriors are confused and disorganized. In a brilliant tactical move, the five of you and a squad of Dragon Legion cavalry launch a counterstrike that takes out the enemy general. While you prove victorious, you also uncover information that the Drakelands warlord Yrax had sent only a small portion of his forces. The main body of his troops are massing at his fortress Ivoryglass in preparation for a full-scale invasion of the Skyfire Mandate. You've won the day (and earned the two-headed eagle), but to secure total victory, Yrax must die. While his army is much too numerous to defeat, a surgical strike will likely cause a civil war to break out among his forces, allowing the Dragon Legion to take over. By doing this, Triaxus will finally be unified under a single banner, ushering in an era of peace and prosperity. All that stands in your way is one dragon tyrant.

You then spend an entire level's worth of gameplay traveling to Ivoryglass. There's a few combats with alien beasts, an encounter with a Roper that earns you a powerful weapon, and an ancient prophecy that has nothing to do with the metaplot and is never mentioned again in this AP.
----------------------------------------------------------------
The rest of Book Four involves breaking into Ivoryglass and fighting your way to Yrax. It's basically a dungeon crawl similar to the Pale Tower bit way back in Book One. There are quite a few cool enemies (including a variant Black Pudding, a Nereid, and three different types of Golems). Since none of you are invested in this whole Triaxus bit, I figure we'll skip all of that, which means you have two options:
1) There's one RP encounter in Ivoryglass that involves a Lawful
bodyguard challenging a single PC to an honor duel. Of course, the party doesn't have to follow the 1v1 rule if they don't want to. She's a cool NPC with interesting combat options, so I'm happy to run that if anyone's interested. We'd then proceed to the Boss Battle detailed below.

2) Skip the entire fortress crawl and jump straight into the Yrax encounter. It's the final fight of Book Four and will get you the bearskin pelt you need to progress. Once that's done, we'll advance to Book Five and resume business as usual. I won't be skipping or handwaving anything in Book Five, by the way. As a few of you know, it's well worth taking our time to get the full experience. XD
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My next post will detail all the loot you would have earned prior to arriving at Ivoryglass. There's a lot.

Behr Teeth (thanks to Silence's harvesting skill)
A behr's teeth can be used as an optional material component to increase the energy damage inflicted by a spell with the electricity descriptor by one die type (to a maximum of 1d12). If the spell is 3rd-level or less, it also increases the caster level by +1.

Behr Scales (again, thanks to Silence)
A behr's scales can be used to make armor that is naturally resistant to electricity. When incorporated into a suit of armor or a shield, behr scales reduce the crafting cost of the energy resistance (electricity) special ability by 1000gp.

-------------------------------------------------
Rimeblade
Price: 16,955gp | CL 8 | Aura: moderate evocation
--------------------------------------------------
This +1 frost scimitar has been forged from a single piece of razor-sharp super-hardened ice. It automatically resizes itself to match the size of its wielder, and if it is damaged, the wielder can cause it to melt away and reform with full hit points as a full-round action.

Once per day, a rimeblade can be transformed into a beam of ice-cold flame. While in this form, attacks are melee touch attacks that deal 1d8+3 cold damage. The wielder's Strength modifier doesn't apply to damage. In addition, a creature that takes damage is covered in clinging frost and is entangled for 1rd. The rimeblade remains in this form for one minute before returning to normal.

In addition, once per day, a rimeblade's wielder can cause the blade to glow with a pale blue radiance as a swift action before an attack. On a successful hit, the rimeblade deals an additional 4d6pts of cold damage and causes the target to be staggered for 1rd. If the attack is a critical hit, the target is instead staggered for 1min. This effect ends after a single attack regardless of whether it is successful or not.

Lawful challenges from bodyguards in solo combat? What do you think this party is filled with? Like there are any lawful honor bound warrio.... oh wait, you meant me >^.^< Well I will teach her to never get involved in a land war in asia... or something like that. Oh and what exactly is a +1 dragon bane thawing longspear is that like a lance? >.> <.< <.>

@Silence: it's a 2h simple weapon. 1d8, x3 crit, brace, reach. The thawing property lets it melt ice and gains bonuses against creatures with the cold subtype.

@Everyone: I have to head out of town for a few days, so I won't be able to start the honor duel until next week. In the meantime, go ahead and advance to Level 12. Don't forget to list the changes in Discussion.

It's hide armor as per the item description.

I've updated the map. You're in D14.

You've fought your way through a large portion of Ivoryglass, defeating everything in your path. You're probably getting close to Yrax. Checking the next door, you find a large room. Training dummies, ropes, weights, and other martial exercise equipment fill the room, the floor of which is covered in padded woven mats. A weapon rack stands against the northwest wall, and iron manacles hang from the walls.

A furry humanoid clad in purple body wraps is in the middle of performing an elaborate blade kata when you enter. Noticing you, she ceases her movements and gazes curiously at you. Putting aside her weapon, she shows her hands are empty before cautiously approaching.

Triaxian:
"Greetings to you. I am known as Cesseer of Ning, consort of Warlord Yrax. Who am I addressing? I apologize for my bluntness, but what are you doing in this part of the palace?"

Cesseer of Ning

Is this place large enough that a mighty warhorse would be able to transverse it? or is he guarding the entrance against all comers? :)

It's built for dragons, so the map uses 10ft squares. Up to you.

He watched silently the kata, before slowly removing his helm as she approached. He frowned as she spoke glancing to Percy. She was the one with the magic to understand what she had said. He pat the side of Mule's neck taking in the grounds.

Percy casts Communal Share Language and touches the party to show the spell is harmless before holding her hand out to the purple lady.
Assuming she takes the spell, I then cast the Enhanced Diplomacy cantrip and say:

Percy then asks her to repeat herself.
We are citizens from another planet that have very neatly disrupted the political ecosystem of this planet in shockingly short order. We would appreciate the Warlord's cooperation in our efforts to get off this miserable planet. All we need is his head. Before you choke on your own indignation, I'd like to point out that we just butchered most of your fortress without trouble. All we really want is to go home. Can you help us make that happen?
Please?: 1d20 + 19 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 19 + 2 = 25

<"I see. This puts me in a difficult position, I must confess. As consort to the Warlord, I am expected to either report your presence or engage you in combat to defend his property. However, while it's the traditional expectation, such orders have not been officially given to me. You see the dilemma? I've not had a good fight for a very long time, as I've been unable to find any worthy opponent in this fortress. But as aliens from another world, you're much too interesting to simply slaughter to fulfill what's expected of me. Do you have any suggestions?">

Slaughter. So overrated. I can see your problem, however. If I were you I'd feel the same way.
What I didn't hear in that expectation was for you to mindlessly throw your life away like some of your minions back there did. What if you were to challenge one of us to an honest duel? That might be a refreshing change of pace. Then you could recognize our dangerously overpowering superiority and join us for challenge unlike any your kind has ever faced: a war on our world!

Cesseer smiled. <"That sounds delightful, actually. I've been cooped up in this castle for far too long. Would you prefer blunted weapons, unarmed strikes only, or something else. I don't know how they conduct duels on your world, but I assure you that I can handle any fair ruleset."> Her expression indicates she believes she's doing you a favor.

He was glad he could finally understand the words the strange warrior spoke. Percy's suggestion was a sound one, in fact it was more than sound. His tail began to lash just slightly back and forth in anticipated excitement. Slowly he dismounted Mule and stood there patiently watching the proceedings with interest. Once he was well spoken too he offered the consort a most dignified bow.

"The true measure of a warrior isnt to be met with pretend weapons. We go until one surrenders, or is no longer able to continue."

He began ears twitching once, then a second time before laying back and still.

Cesseer gives Silence a feral grin. <"Spoken like a true warrior. There is a fighting pit in the next room that is ideally suited for such gladiatorial bouts. Your companions can watch from above while you and I compete. You have my word that no one will interfere.">

Fighting Pit Info
Wide stone stairs lead up to an elevated walkway overlooking a sunken fighting pit in this circular chamber. The floor of the pit is covered with sand, and a single passage exits the pit to the northwest beneath an iron portcullis.

There's a map in my profile header, but since it's a 1v1, we can do 'theater of the mind' if you prefer. The pit's 40ft in diameter and 20ft deep.

Oh no bad sign I cant find my picture on your map >.<

He nodded and bowed turning once more to his friends and most importantly Mule. With a soft pat on his neck he removed his naginata and took a deep breath his tail lashing in excitement. He followed the strange furred woman to her fighting arena taking place opposite her and the exit. He knelt for a moment reaching down and taking a small handful of the sand letting its texure interact with his paws before.

Hefting the Nagita he once more bowed and called out.

"By the honor of our fathers I am prepared."

He was caught very off guard by suddenly how quickly she moved. He shook his head slightly and spat out a bit of blood onto the sand. Overconfidence. He had never really thought that was one of his flaws.... yet it seemed that perhaps here it was. This consort of whomever she said it was knew her way about the battlefield. He spun his katana about in his hand and stood there poised to strike the moment she came back in range, he had been too offensive and perhaps had given her the advantage.

readied action to strike when she moves into range.

Cesseer gives you a long appraising stare before looking at your watching companions. After several more seconds, she nods decisively to herself. <"You possess a great deal of skill. If we continue, perhaps you will defeat me, or perhaps I will defeat you. However, in the case of the latter, I do not think I could also defeat your allies when they inevitably seek revenge. Therefore, I will make you an offer I have never before given to an opponent: let us call this match a draw.">

Percy claps slowly, her individual claps echoing off the walls. I was expecting something much more one-sided!

He tensed for a moment his tail lashing. Duels were not done till draws... not back in his homeland. His lips bared back in a snarl and then just stopped. He wasnt in his homeland, he wasnt even on the same planet. He wanted to see Greta again as well. Tea... Whom would take care of Mule. Slowly he lowered his blade bowing low and then slowly sheathing it.

"I must admit to overestimating my skill. You are a true master of this arena."

He offered bowing one more time.

"I can certainly accept a draw from a worthy opponent such as you."

He added barely able to add a smile.

Are you going to have to be on seppuku watch for the next 24 hours?

Cess ever returns your bow and sheaths get weapon. <"I've not faced a more worthy opponent in many years. You have brought pride to your ancestors, warrior from the stars. And I have done my duty: defended the warlord. I will not hinder you further.">

Silence is now fully healed. I am down to 4/7 4th lvls today

Percy approaches Silence once they are out of sight or when he deems appropriate for his honor and channels a large amount of positive energy into him. It burns like his blood is on fire, but it's a good burn as his wounds close without even the hint of a scar.

The smooth walls of this pentagonal chamber curve gently inward to form a lofty domed roof above the icy floor. A raised platform sits 15ft above the floor at the western end of the room, with a large metal door set into the rear wall.

The entire floor is icy and considered difficult terrain. The ceiling is 80ft high. Yrax is currently 65ft off the ground and has cover. Map uses 10ft squares.

Party Init: 5d20 + 17 ⇒ (7, 14, 18, 2, 19) + 17 = 77 (avg 15)
Yrax Init: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

As you enter the chamber, a shimmering display of multicolored lights erupts in front of you. From his lair above you, a bored-sounding Yrax asks, <"Are you the foolish travelers who have pledged to kill me?"> The light reflecting off his gleaming black scales is almost hypnotic.

Everyone: Will DC 21 vs fascination. If two PCs fail their save, everyone else is immune.
