Results are going to be delivered sometime tonight. This has been a really hard choice, but I've finally made my decision. Further info to come with roster finalization!

On pins and needles!

So after much deliberation, hand-wringing, consideration, re-consideration and distress I've come up with the final four players/characters for Ascension! From this list I have chosen two "standby" PCs who will serve two purposes:

1) If one of the primary four winds up having a scheduling conflict between now and January that spot will automatically be filled by one of the standbys.

2) If after a few sessions of establishing play-rhythm I feel that I can add additional players without sacrificing pacing/spotlight time, I will add from the secondaries.

To everyone who didn't make it in, you made my job extremely hard! I was so happy with the concepts that I saw come in, and if I could squeeze any more characters in I guarantee I would have had you all.

So, with that said, here are the final four:

Gabriel Ethelstan (Aasimar, Summoner [Synthesist]: Expert in your Field)
Kasimira Welter (Half-Elf, Witch [Dimensional Occultist, Bonded Witch]: Expert
Felisa (Changeling, Monk [Sohei]: Shield of Renown)
Biatz (Aasimar, Ranger [Beastmaster]: Trailblazer)

and our secondaries are:

Karn Stonefang (Gnoll, Ranger [Shapeshifter]: Trailblazer)
Gaius Vekkhar (Hobgoblin, Fighter: Shield of Renown)

Again, deciding exactly who to bring in was a really hard decision and was a function of availability, character concept, and how I feel the character dynamics will all work together with each other and the narrative.

I look forward to seeing you all in the game, and to those who didn't make it feel free to keep up with the stories (especially the two I have tagged as secondaries!)
