Really sorry about that. I wanted to hold my decision until I had my interview and a better idea of when exactly I would be available. I just got my new schedule today and they put my start-time at 6pm. So backing out was the only thing I could do. Once this process started moving it started moving fast, hah.

I'll be keeping my eye on this game though. I'm really curious to see where it goes.

Hate to do this but I'm going to drop. Just got word that I'm starting a new job and they want me to work evenings. I could play the first few sessions but afterword I doubt I could. I have no idea if I can manage to be off when you guys run so it's better to just leave before it even starts. I'm sure one of the alts will be happy to take my place. Have fun and good luck.

One also hasn't reported yet.

I replied in on another thread. Rewriting a rough of my introduction.

Cool. I'll flesh out Felisa some more and maybe find my drawing pencils.

I'm curious to see who will make it. Good luck, guys.

Wow, a Changeling Sohei/Sorcerer. I like that, very interesting blend of archetypes and classes with a background that leaves room for additional surprises.

On your sheet your attack bonuses look incorrect, however. Your claws should be at +3 and your unarmed strikes at +2, I believe. When used in conjunction, you could also do a +2 unarmed strike followed by -2/-2 claw attacks. Unfortunately you can't mix-up flurry of blows with natural weapon attacks too.

Thanks. The sheet still needs a little work, I was playing around with stats and hadn't got around to re-adjusting the weapon statistics yet. Fixed those now, plus I had the damage wrong as I forgot to account for the fact that she gets +1 to all melee damage. I feel sorry for anything she hits with a full attack. Starting 2nd level she'll be Sorcerer so I won't bother much with the natural weapon feats. I mostly just wanted a caster that could do melee at low levels. I might look into Toughness later as hit points are her only real weak point right now besides any affect that would cause her to lose Dex bonuses.

Character Name: Felisa
Class: Monk (Sohei)
Campaign Trait: Shield of Renown
Availability: M-F 5-10pm CST, Sat & Sun are free
Character sheet is a work in progress but mostly done.

I have wanted to try out Roll20 for some time now. And since this is a text chat game it gives me a chance to run the only female PC I've made without my manly voice getting in the way. She starts out Monk but immediately goes Sorcerer. Both classes are Paizo variants: the Sohei Monk which is a temple guard who uses martial weapons, and the Empyreal Sorcerer who is of the Celestial bloodline and uses Wis instead of Chr. Eventually might pick up the Eldritch Knight prestige class. Also she's a Changeling, the gender-restricted hag-spawn race from the Advanced Race Guide.

Brief Back-story:
She was found in the mountains on the road leading to a secluded monastery, fast asleep with her head resting on the chest of a dead man the monks correctly assumed to be her father. Old enough to walk and talk a little, Felisa could only tell them her name and that the man was "Daddy." The Headmaster, a grey-haired woman named Valaria who had the aura of a lion, needed only one look at the girl's appearance and her different colored eyes to realize what she was. Valaria deduced the man had somehow found his child and was attempting to take care of her. Judging by the arrow wounds on his body, it was likely that locals found out what the girl was and wanted them gone.

Valaria decided to raise the girl and train her as a student of the monastery. Felisa was competent in her training but never seemed dedicated to it. She never kept her hair short, hardly ever spoke, seemed to wither under criticism, and no matter how used to everyone she became she never stopped acting like a skittish stray cat. Despite being horribly shy, she was generally friendly and lacked prejudice. In fact her zen-like contentment became something the other teachers would praise. Not wanting to encourage the girl to go out into the world like most monks eventually do, Valaria had Felisa trained as a temple guard, hoping to keep the girl close to home.

But she grew older and her heritage started to come out, as Valaria always knew it would. One day Felisa came to her private chambers to talk about the overwhelming sense of unease she felt and how there was something out there for her. Valaria explained what Felisa was and where that call was coming from. Felisa was horrified. Over the next few days her restlessness continued, despite not wanting any part of the thing that called to her.

Felisa had a mother out there, waiting for her. But she'd also had a father. Another heritage began to come out, one that was filled with light. The man had been a Sorcerer, one who's power was fueled by a bloodline from the heavens. Felisa felt other powers lurking inside her, ones that she wanted to realize. For the first time in her life she realized she had a connection someone she didn't remember who had obviously cared enough to die for her.

Still overcome with restlessness, perceiving the possibility of danger to her adopted family if her mother ever came looking for her, and wanting to learn something the monks could never teach her, she left. Felisa walked away with clothes and a traveling bag and some money given to her by Valaria, who stood at the gates and watched the young woman walk away. Valaria thought of all her students as children, and many left. But most all would come back someday. Valaria didn't expect to see this daughter of her's ever again.

Currently Felisa has fallen into a gig as a guard for hire rather by accident when a merchant saw her case down and beat up a pickpocket that had snatched her coin-purse. She had been doing odd jobs here and there for food and for permission to sleep in haylofts and such. Being a guard for travelers has come to suit her quite well as she's grown fond of traveling. She wears simple traveler's clothes and keeps her hands in long sleeves to hide her sharp fingernails and wears a brown, wide-brimmed farmer's hat kept low to prevent people from casually noticing her different colored eyes.
